Dr. Close is by far the best doctor I've ever been too! He's been treating me for the past 5 years and after being in a terrible car accident 2 years ago, He's been integral in my recovery process. I have been going to Dr Close for at least a decade. He is friendly a great chiropractor and always has tips and referrals for keeping me out of pain and healthy. I live DTLA and come all the way across town just to go there. Yes the front desk could be a bit nicer sometimes but the care and service I receive from Dr Close is more important than maybe someone having an off day in the front of house.. Dr. Close is y far the best chiropractor I met. I have terrible back problems. Sometimes I have hard time sleeping sitting. I study a lot and I work in a lab so it makes my back even worse because I put so much pressure on it. Michael Close adjusts me every month. His hands are magic. I'm very impressed with the Dr. Close and his entire practice. He actually takes time to understand your issue, and having back problems, this was refreshing.. It was nice to walk in without a sales pitch about X-Rays. I like the entire practice that they have Thai/Deep Massage to work with the adjustment you receive.. Apparently this business has two pages, it's also called Chiropractic Health and Wellness. I only dealt with their front desk and receptionists, but it was terrible. I was having pain and I live around the corner, so I dropped in to ask about their services. I don't have insurance so I was told I could do a free consultation before paying the $100 out of my pocket for the first visit (I've never been to a chiropractor and don't know if my pain is something that can be helped by one) I was told someone would call me. No one did. I called back myself after two days and set up a 15 minute consultation visit. I started filling out paperwork online and was called back by another woman who said that the Dr. doesn't do consultations any more, it would be $100 right away. I said I wanted a consultation first and was practically hung up on. I was absolutely willing to pay whatever it took to get my issue fixed. Now, not only will I never be going to your center, I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know does either. Nobody was nice or even patient with me the entire time I was involved with them. I have been with Dr. Michael Close for 2 years and I have not experienced a nicer person who is genuine and pleasant and understanding. He has fit me in when I have been in pain due to a debilitating condition. I come in with pain and he relieves the pain. He is a wonderful person who is reassuring and thinks of me as a patient with certain needs.
