Anywhoo...the event was free but they had vendors selling food and the ballpark has an indoor facility that has a bar and concession stands. My son ordered nachos and they were cold by the time he got back to the stands. The facility itself is really nice, they have several different fields for teams to play their games. Overall the experience was good.

Where…read moremy son practices baseball and plays many of his games is down a dirt road and it doesn't even have a parking lot. This place in fancy smancy! It is conveniently located off of the 360 Tollroad. It only took me 45 minutes to get here from Mckinney. It usually takes me an hour to get to most of my son's games that are out of town. I was brought to this ballpark for a USSSA World Series. I saw many complaints about the parking lot because it is shared with Hawaiian Falls. I was "Front Row Joe". This was a big improvement, I usually have to park on the side of a hill where my son normally plays. As an added bonus, I didn't have to worry about foul balls or home run balls hitting my car. I knew there was a gate fee. Most of the big tournaments do. This one was $10 per person. I can't tell you happy I was to pay that $10, because I was at a baseball game with air-conditioning. Did you hear me?? I was in an air-conditioned building at a travel ball baseball game in July. I have never been at a tournament with air conditioning. There is also a restaurant. I've never seen a restaurant at a youth baseball field either. I was so excited, I cheated from my normal eating habits of salad and splurged and got chili cheese fries. They were AMAZING! My sons had pizza and hot dogs and it was smiles all around. I really felt the pricing was normal travel ball concession stand prices. As you already know, the ball fields are replicas of famous ballparks around the United States. I think Wrigley field is my favorite with the rooftops from Wrigleyville in the background. My son played on Ebbots Field and I thought it was ironic that the fake people painted on the outfield had an awning for shade, but the actual human spectators behind home plate was not shaded. Oh and just a note, they allow you to bring in tents to create your own shade. For this tournament they allowed coolers of water and fruit. They checked coolers and my son's bag when we came in. It looked like they confiscated a lot of Gatorade from other players. Our coach made sure we knew the rules of the facility, so we already knew what was allowed in the park. If you get a chance to play here, do it! My son loved it and it was a wonderful experience for our family.

I really wanted to like this place, but sadly it didn't meet expectations. We chose this place to…read morecelebrate my grandfather's 100th birthday. The ambiance seemed great upon first impression -- the ballroom overlooks the driving range, and golf is his favorite pastime. My aunts did a menu tasting before the event and they said the food was great. They chose the following options: steak wedge salad, chicken florentine, and salmon and rice. However the day of the event was such a disappointment. The steaks were super inconsistent-- some of us had rare, some of us had medium rare, and I had a well done piece. What seemed strange about my steak is that it tasted...like organ meat?! I thought I was going crazy. My family tried it and they agreed something was extremely off about the taste. My cousin was struggling to cut his chicken florentine because it was so dry. The biggest offender was the salmon and rice... everyone who ordered this option received UNDERCOOKED RICE! Rice is one of the hardest things to mess up, especially if you use a rice cooker... The bread and butter that was served was dry and unmemorable. It's sad when the appetizers outshine the main dishes. The fruit plate upon seating was well presented. The Beef Wellington (A+ chef's kiss) and coconut shrimp were the saving grace of the event. The pork potstickers were just okay. We had paid drinks as an option, but I don't drink so I asked for a club soda. It came in a plastic bottle and it tasted like plastic. Outside of food, the ballroom provided us a projector. The AV team didn't seem super knowledgeable as it took 30 minutes to get the video AND audio up and going. Overall it wasn't the best in terms of food and the projector, but the room itself was great and the appetizers provided something to remember. Nonetheless, I'm grateful we had a place to create memories for my grandfather's 100th. Highly would not recommend this place for a wedding though unless you're looking to be disappointed.

HUGE SCAM! DO NOT PLAY FOR EXPRESS! This is a complete scam and shady business. They use a nice…read morefacility for "tryouts," promise you that this isn't your normal "daddy" baseball, and that there will be two coaches. ALL OF THOSE PROMISES ARE LIES. Let me tell you- every child who will pay makes the team- there is nothing "select" about this organization. We had 15-16 kids on our child's team and one single coach (another child's dad) with NO assistant coach ever. Every question regarding the lack of two coaches was ignored by Justin. The few tournaments they played were a disappointment for most of the team who sat on the bench. Out of 2 games, your kid might play 2 innings total. Such a joke. One child threatened others and cursed out adults in the dugout and was allowed to continue to play despite his disrespect and lack of baseball skills. The main complaint I have is that even when you sign up for one season to try it out, they automatically sign you up for a full season at $400 per month! There is something buried in the contract about continuing your charges if you don't cancel within the first two months of the season. No contract is sent to you for review after signing or to keep in your records. No one contacts you about continuing, you just see charges well beyond when your season ends, and then are told too bad, so sad. I don't know how this organization remains in business and how Justin has not been taken to court to end this sham of a business.

DO NOT DO IT! Waste of money. A LOT of your money. This organization is one man collecting as much…read moreas he can, not paying for enough coaches but they coach multiple teams so we only get 1 1/2 hour of practice weekly (only 2 practices with coach before our first tournament). Parents are dissatisfied, no team building, coach is overwhelmed and Justin hides. Our team has 17 players! (the photo below is with our PO not being there on this day) You're paying $5000 for you kid to sit on the bench and get minimal basic practice like fielding and batting in cages. Go to the park and DBAT instead. Put that money in real training or save for college. There is no personal training and development here like the website states for all players but only a few. And the support presented in the video made at the time this club started got lost. Last few tournaments we played easy 14U teams and won, but due to so many kids on the team the league is prepared for 12 to 14 kids tops, not 17. Our son did not get a ring. If he tells you he usually has 12-13 kids it's not true as the other Express team has 15 or 16 kids too. Instead of looking for ways to reduce the teams and create a manageable team, he just keeps on recruiting so he can pocket more money. Justin dodges answering to parents' concerns and questions and I wonder why an established organization has no real reviews on Google? Maybe after this he will get some parents he's friends with to do it but we know better. I'm not scared and will not use my kid in his games. If he sits my kid out because I am warning you all, or calling him out, it's okay, he's been doing that anyway and not responding to me as I pose concerns. He plays my son one at bat and an inning or two, some games none. I should've posted long ago instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt that he does what he says. It will only show his immaturity more, and the absence of leadership if he "gets back" at my son in games for my actions in trying to reach him. Will I get a response on Google instead of a call, a text or email back answering my questions? I'd love a face-to-face actually. Perhaps if we all stopped fearing our sons won't get play time if we post negative reviews we can help one another not make these bad decisions by signing up for unprofessional and makeshift clubs that lie about what they are. He has you sign a contract prior to knowing anything, takes your money and thinks you're stuck. It's like buying a product then later finding you actually bought a fake. Although there is a contract you sign believing what the website and he says is true, scamming eventually gets prosecuted and shut down one way or another. There is no office or employees, Justin coaches and tries to do all the admin stuff. The address here is actually a practice facility that does not belong to Express but they rent it and use it. It's not large enough for pitching and hitting from the mound. It says this began in 2010 - well why hasn't it grown and there are not enough coaches (2) or employees (1)? Even the current coaches as well as all the parents and kids are dissatisfied and can't wait to leave him. Just don't. There are many other clubs out there. Unless you have thousands laying around wanting to donate to him and you're not really interested in your kid's development, don't waste your money here. No matter where my son ends up I do not grant permission for Express to use his name and state it is a place that calls him an alumni.
