I'd debated double eyelid surgery my whole life but got really interested during COVID. I saw some tapes that claimed they could give permanent double eyelids by using for 6 months or more every night. They worked...until they didn't! When the double eyelids stopped showing up one morning, what I did realize was how looser/lower the skin had gotten from the repeated crease tracing and tapes. Not good at all when compounded with how fatty/thick my eyelids naturally are. I also realized how my eyelids were getting in the way. I was unconsciously raising my right eyebrow pretty much the entire day in order to see better as the eyelid was covering so much of my pupil (which is also to say that my eyelashes were basically invisible at that point). I was starting to develop a wrinkle on the right side of my forehead only from this. Given my family has been debating a trip to Korea for a while, I also thought about pushing off getting my eyelids done in Korea. But I didn't want to spend a good week or so of precious vacation time dealing with recovery. Plus, what if something DID go wrong, I wanted a local doctor I could easily follow up with! I booked a consultation with Dr. Chaboki as he had the best portfolio out of all local doctors. This area already has a limited pool so I wasn't too hopeful when I first searched, and was worried I might have to go to NY or CA to find a doctor familiar with Asian eye anatomy. I needn't have worried as Dr. Chaboki gave me the exact results I wanted. I merely wanted my lashline visible and a defined fold. I've heard some doctors push ptosis correction (even in cases where it might not be needed), and epicanthoplasty alongside double eyelid procedures but there was none of that here. After all, ptosis is a medical condition and a whole different procedure. I booked the surgery and took a 1.5 weeks off of work, even though I work from home, because I knew my eyes would be tired. The procedure was easy-peasy, not to minimize anything since it's still a surgical procedure, but it was so tolerable. I had no ill effects (compliance with aftercare instructions is of utmost importance!). I will say there was a big difference at the 6 week mark in terms of healing. A really natural look settled in by then. And now at 3 months there's an even bigger difference and I don't think anyone would be able to tell unless I disclosed it. Very happy with my results and Dr. Chaboki is clearly a master at his craft and he's SO specialized in facial work, it really immediately shows!

My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. 10 days out, the bruising is almost gone. Swelling is subsiding substantially and I can already see an amazing difference. What I love about his approach is he gives you a better or I should say younger version of yourself. Dr. Hopping's bedside manner is informative and friendly at the same time and his staff, especially his nurse, Sunita are just absolutely wonderful and will be there for you every minute.

I have been going for more than a year for Botox. The first time my eyebrows had a heavy look and generally just look "frozen" despite I explained I would like them to be lifted not dropping that much. In any case, did not like it and the same happened the second time even though I specifically said to Dr. Cabin last time I was in I was upset with the result. They said, we understand, and we will do otherwise. I did Halo and BBL with no result, just trust me. I was advised to do fillers under my eyes, laugh lines and jaw area. I asked how it would look under my eyes and jaw area since it was my first time I was told it would look very nice. It was very painful. Next morning I woke up with big bags under my eyes. I thought it's just swelling, and it would go away. It was not the case. I had an international travel coming up in 2 days. I talked to Dr. Cabin, and he said he could dissolve it, but it would be painful as well and I would have bruises. I had to wear my hat for about two weeks because I looked awful. Then my friends who travelled with me advised that I would see a doctor in Istanbul because I looked scary. He was surprised to see fillers been injected under my eyes. He was able to dissolve some of it and I felt myself again. I was thinking of face lift but thank God did not do it at this practice. I do not think Dr. Cabin would be able dissolve if something went wrong with surgery. Ladies, please, please do not rely on and trust 5-star reviews and always start with something small and see the results first. I can't imagine an experienced plastic surgeon can't understand and imagine what will look right on your face before advising anything. If things can go wrong by injecting such simple procedures like fillers, Botox, etc. I do not want to imagine what will happen under his knife. I always choose expensive clinics by just thinking if it is expensive, it must be good and it's my face at end of the day. I guess I must pay attention to negative reviews which are buried under excellent reviews and then make my final decision from now on. I do not recommend Dr. Cabin for Botox, fillers, Halo, BBL and for any facial surgeries. Please do a thorough search before you end up like me. After the response from clinic I had to answer. I received a call and asked to remove/edit my review despite I have gone through a lot of pain and ugly look at the end as a result of very simple facial procedures at this clinic. I explained the trauma I went through but they simply did not care and i refused to remove my review. If you really care about yourself, your face and do not want to experience what I have just blindly looking at the "excellent" reviews. Well, Dr. Pinell successfully completed my breast reduction in October 2025. I was a 36DDD, and now I'm a perfect 36D. I look great, and I can't be more satisfied with the results. Most importantly, the reduction reduces the likelihood that the cancer will return to the tissue removed. Although there are no guarantees, it is worth considering. Meaning, I'm smaller now, less tissue, less tissue for the cancer to return to. Dr. Pinell performed an incredible job. During my last visit to my Primary care doctor, who is an older woman, she stated that in her 40+ years of practice, she has seen many breast surgeries; this was the first reduction where the breasts were even. Also, my Oncologist was so impressed that she mentioned I should be an advertisement for Dr. Pinell. Seriously, my breasts look fantastic, and I'm over 60. Dr. Chang and his entire team make you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Dr. Chang himself feels more like a friend than a regular doctor, and at no point ever judged or pressured me (in fact, when I asked about certain treatments, he was honest in saying he didn't think it was worth it for me given the cost). I recently got a septorhinoplasty done with Dr. Chang and the results are fantastic. He fixed my deviated septum and did some cosmetic adjustments. I can finally breath normally again for the first time in my life after 30 years, and it's all thanks to Dr. Chang and his staff. I first contacted Dr. Rad back in April and had two virtual consultations, each lasting over 45…read moreminutes. He was incredibly thorough, immediately understood what bothered me, and explained in great detail how he'd approach each concern. When I finally met him in person on September 12th, I was almost two hours late thanks to D.C. traffic and baggage claim chaos. I was mortified but his staff couldn't have been more kind or accommodating. They never made me feel rushed or dismissed, which completely calmed my nerves. And side note: his office is stunning, right in the heart of D.C., modern, and immaculate. During the in-person consult, Dr. Rad recorded a video walkthrough of everything we planned to do, including my comments and concerns. We decided to break my surgery into two phases because of my work schedule. I didn't want to be excessively swollen. Phase One Procedures: * Canthoplasty * Fat grafting to temples, forehead, under-eyes, and lips * Bullhorn lip lift I had way too much old filler in my lips, and Dr. Sherber (who works with Dr. Rad & married to him) kindly stayed after hours to dissolve it before surgery. She was so sweet, and I'm honestly grateful! By the weekend, I couldn't believe how overfilled my lips had been before. Surgery Day: Monday morning came fast. The surgery took place at a trauma hospital, so while it was a bit hectic, everything went smoothly. I woke up about 6.5 hours later, and Dr. Rad checked in to tell me everything went beautifully. His post-op nurse, Donna, was an absolute lifesaver. She stayed with me for 48 hours after surgery and took incredible care of me. Especially during the first 12 hours when I couldn't stop throwing up (I'm super sensitive to anesthesia). She never left my side until I stabilized. By Wednesday, Dr. Rad removed my drains, and on Friday, my lip lift stitches came out. My husband and I even went sightseeing with no issues (weather was perfect)I flew home that Sunday and recovery has been smooth sailing ever since. Any time I've had a question day or night his office has been lightning-fast to respond. Coming from the West Coast, I've seen my share of top Beverly Hills surgeons (even had a rhinoplasty with one of em that's a story for another time), but Dr. Rad stands out above them all. He genuinely cares about your well-being, results, and experience from start to finish. This isn't a paid review, I just believe that when someone goes above and beyond, they deserve to be recognized. I called the office - no answer. I left a voicemail and submitted a message via the Contact Us form. 4:28 PM - I received a call from the front desk informing me that Bridget was "behind." There was no prior notice, no apology, and no courtesy, despite the fact that I rearranged my schedule to be available at 4PM. 5:08 PM - I received a text from Bridget asking WHEN would be a good time to talk. There was no apology for missing the appointment, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused, and no respect for my time. A response 1 hour and 8 minutes after a scheduled appointment without any proactive communication beforehand is unprofessional. Even if Dr. Cohen is considered a top plastic surgeon, I would never proceed with this office. The patient care coordinator is often the first point of contact and a reflection of the practice as a whole. If this is the level of communication during the intake process, I can only imagine the disorganization that might occur during pre- and post-operative care.
