They listened patiently to our ideas, sometimes even sacrificing their own opinions. They visibly shared our excitement about the highlights of the day. But at the same time, they were quick to suggest alternative ways of the details of our day. They were quick to step up and take over details that we were too busy or too forgetful to remember. Their firm direction was essential to making the day come together so perfectly. 2) They add delightful, unanticipated personal touches. Jon and Jessie both personally created or oversaw little decorations and details that we did not expect. Some of these details ended up really making the day. Jon worked to get a large, custom-painted wooden sign with our name on it up at the front of the property, something we didn't expect. 3) They are encouraging to be around. Weddings are an extremely stressful time. Jon and Jessie bring the tension and stress down by their cheerful, cooperative presence. As a couple, they are perfect together, complimenting each other and their ideas. Working together, they offered us endless kind words and hope for the day. This made all the difference -- having a team of coordinators that are constantly upbeat, humble and cheerful is a rare thing. They are genuine to the core, and this will put any wedding event and those involved at ease. In addition, I attended a wedding a month later in Petaluma, CA that they coordinated as well, as was just as impressed! I would highly recommend this dynamic duo. She coordinated everything with the vendors, personal items, reception, decor, including moving our floral arch/cocktail furniture to the reception area for dinner. She was always on hand to help with absolutely anything I needed - from helping me find a toothpick, mints, working with our photographer to move our first dance and photos around to accommodate the better light, to helping me pick out grass from my wedding dress from photos - I can honestly say that Maryssa made our wedding everything we ever wanted it to be. She even helped pack up all our drinks, personal items, decor into our car the night of so that the next morning we had everything ready to go. Lastly, on top of everything I already mentioned, Maryssa helped us navigate our wedding through COVID-19. Years later, and I discover that my wedding photos have been featured (without my prior approval) on their website. I emailed them and followed up twice for them to be removed, as I prefer to keep my personal life private, and they have unprofessionally not responded in over a month. I find such behavior to be not only rude and unprofessional, but unethical. By the way, at least one of the five star reviews written on their page seems to be from a family member. I'm concerned about the ethics of their practice and their lack of responsiveness as well as decent courtesy to existing and former clients.

Me and my husband got the middle-tier package, which did not include budget and vendor payments (note: this package excludes reminders to pay vendors as well). Echo's approach to wedding planning is methodical and well-organized. For instance, she created a dedicated folder where she would post/remove deliverables incrementally as we went through the process. That way, we did not feel overwhelmed since she already broke down the steps into smaller, manageable pieces. Or, another great example is organizing our email communications by different work streams so that we could easily refer to conversations by topic, and not lose track of items when discussing multiple vendors at once. Echo was always quick to reply on every communication platform. We trusted Echo not only for her planning skills, but also for her local knowledge of vendors. We followed her recommendations under the assumption that she would put together an excellent team to execute our vision. On the day of the wedding, they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. They say that something always goes wrong on your actual wedding day, but ours was had little/no stress. I know that there is a lot of background work for that to occur -- so thank you Echo!

The music was great, he clearly knows how to play. He was polite enough and well-mannered so no need to worry about that. The huge huge drawback was he showed up an hour late, when timeliness is really of the essence on a wedding day. I had even printed and sent him custom directions (with street level pictures I painstakingly screenshot one by one from google maps) to find the venue, and confirmed multiple times. My husband was livid with how late he was, Mark barely made it in time for me to walk down the aisle, scrambling to set up in front of all of our seated friends and family. So if you don't mind rolling the dice with whether or not he will show up on time for your ceremony, his great musical aptitude may be worth the risk. If you're not the kind of person that likes to leave things up to chance, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Our wedding was in the month of July 2014.
