It was fate that brought me to Dr Gravori and within a week of meeting him in his office, he was able to push through all of my insurance paperwork to get authorization on the disc replacement procedure that was not authorized through other surgeon offices. I was in for surgery just a week after meeting with Dr Gravori and had a better than expected surgery. I heard first hand horror stories about spinal surgery and my father is evidence of that. Thank god he is doing better now but he was in a hard neck collar for 6 months after his surgery. I was nervous as hell, which is expected undergoing this kind of procedure but Dr Gravori and his very friendly staff eased my mind and when I finally went under I was very confident that Dr Gravori was going to take good care of me. Well, now, 9 months later, I can say that I am virtually pain free from my neck and I have full strength back throughout my neck, arms, hands, etc. Before surgery I had terrible pain going into my left elbow and my arm and hand were constantly tingling and I was losing feeling and strength. Now I am back to working out regularly at the gym and was able to get back on the softball field! I would recommend everyone I know to Dr Gravori, if they are in need of any kind of spinal surgery or just for a second opinion. But now he can provide his excellent service to all who seek it. At middle age I began suffering from middle age maladies. Nothing too uncommon, but nevertheless, eventually deadly. Dr. K diagnosed all of them quite handily. But what made him an outstanding doctor was the way he cared. The way he checked up on me periodically to see how I was doing, emails and such. Heck, he'd call me in the evening, after business hours, to go over some test result or another. He'd usually give me new advice on how to tame the demons of age. I often joked to my spouse that Dr. K was the nagging wife I never had before (but in a good way). I can only say glowing reviews about Dr. K. He's kind and knowledgeable and he cares. When I told him about my panic attacks, he told me to exercise and pray more. He mentioned the cross necklace I was wearing and asked me if my faith was superficial or deep. Such a joke. I can tell you unequivocally, Dr. Nevo is the most caring, kind, personable, and understanding doctors that I've ever seen. He has gone out of his way to learn about conditions that I have that he wasn't up-to-date on, so that he could treat me more effectively and unlike many doctors he is not only willing to admit if he doesn't know something, but he is willing to do the work to learn if it's within his scope of support. If something isn't within his scope of support, he is always happy and eager to offer a referral. Because of all my medical conditions and doctors appointments and treatments, I have CPTSD and one of the most amazing things about Dr. Nevo is that he not only treats your body, but also your mind. He understands how intricately linked physical pain and your mental state can be. Finding a doctor that takes into consideration and understands the mental turmoil that pain causes and how it relates to the physical aspect of things is very, very rare indeed. Because of my myriad health conditions, I know that I am not seeing Dr. Nevo for any sort of "cure" however I can tell you that he has provided me with a sense of medical security, peace of mind that I am in good hands and the knowledge that he will do everything in his power to help me find any sort of relief. I was feeling anxious and unhopeful and just trying to get through the day. It was a constant nightmare. I dreaded going to sleep knowing that in the middle of the night my flare ups would begin and I would get no sleep. Since I have met Dr. Nevo, for the first time in my life I feel hopeful. I've seen doctors in the past since my accident from June of 2024 and not one doctor that I have met has made me feel taken care of. Not only am I feeling better due to the treatment I am receiving but I love that Dr. Nevo is so empathetic and supportive. He's never in a rush to get through the appointment and he addresses all your concerns.The one time I started to not feel well again due to the medication not working and he heard of my pain, he immediately scheduled an appointment over the phone to discuss what was going on. Never in my life has a doctor done that. What I'm experiencing is an up and down hill battle - and of course there are days I may have a little discomfort due to my condition but what I can say is that I can finally sleep - I do feel well rested. I JUST GAVE BIRTH VIA C SECTION 3 weeks ago but had suffered with A CHRONIC PAIN CONDITION THAT JUST GOT WORSE,UNFORTUNATELY, DURING PREGNANCY. I have been utterly desperate to treat my pain now that I can get certain treatments that were not safe during the nine months of pregnancy, such as an epidural. I literally counted down the days until this appointment with hopes of some kind of answer and relief towards what has become a life changing injury/condition. And because I had changed insurance once I got pregnant, I still haven't received the card, despite many a call to the insurance company. However this office had already verified my insurance over the phone days prior but ended up turning me away for not having the card on me. This office just wants your money, not your recovery.

Dr. Roofian gave me a PRP, which took care of my left shoulder pain from a level 10 to 6 in a couple of days. A month later, I hardly feel the pain, unless I lift something heavy or try to reach out to my left side. Very happy about the result of the PRP. During the process, Der. Roofian was very professional and caring. As instructed, I came back to his Tarzana office a month later to check up on my shoulder pain. At this time, he gave me a cortisone shot for my upper back pain. Now, I'm virtually pain free and back to normal as long as I don't excert or abuse my left shoulder. I highly recommend Dr. Roofian to anyone suffering from pain, chronic or otherwise. I suffered thru my shoulder pain so long, I wish someone had told me about Dr. Roofian sooner.

My 87-year-old mother was experiencing severe sciatica pain for about a month. We saw that Dr. John…read moreVillanueva specialized in spine and pain management. After a quick exam on my mother, he determined she had piriformis syndrome and a stenosis condition, and he scheduled her for an injection that he was to perform. After the procedure, my mother's pain got much worse. He had prescribed pain killers, but they weren't helping. We called his office to see if she could take a higher dose, but after a couple of business days, Dr. Villanueva did not get back to us. We called a third time and were told she could take a higher dose. We asked for a follow-up appointment, since she was in even more pain than before the epidural shot he administered. Then the day before her scheduled follow-up, the office called to say they had to reschedule it to the following week. We got very angry that my mother clearly wasn't doing well and that we couldn't get his attention for a follow up. They then took us as a "walk in," and after several hours of waiting, the doctor finally got to examine my mother. During this visit, Dr. Villanueva prescribed a lumbar MRI. The MRI revealed severe stenosis pressing directly on the sciatic nerve. At that point it was clear that only spinal surgery could solve this issue. We proceeded to find a qualified surgeon, and my mother's condition improved dramatically about 3 weeks after the operation. I question Dr. Villanueva's ethics. He was quick to determine that my mother had piriformis syndrome, which was not the case. He should have initially referred her for a lumbar MRI to even see what the problem was. A principled doctor would have determined from the MRI that her stenosis condition was severe and not something a simple epidural could fix. Instead, Dr. John Villanueva took the insurance money to do his thing. We wasted a lot of time and went through a lot of aggravation instead of getting a competent diagnosis from the start. He was slow to respond and did not show empathy for my mother's extreme pain level.
