Two days ago, I received a letter stating that my policy was being terminated because of three claims within the last year. There was no warning, no discussion, and no opportunity to explain or object. I immediately called customer service hoping there was some mistake or at least a review process. Instead, I was simply told the decision was final. After paying premiums for over a decade and a half, I expected better communication and at least the chance to speak with someone who could reconsider the situation. The most disappointing part is how quickly they dropped me despite my long history with the company. Loyalty clearly means very little here. Being canceled with almost no notice has caused unnecessary stress and left me scrambling to find new coverage. Very disappointed with Progressive and how they handle long-term customers.

Big insurance company who does not care about the day-to-day person as long as they get paid. We received a letter in the mail informing us in October of this year they were dropping our home insurance 12/1/2024 because they didn't know how old our roof was... When we purchased this home we filled out our paperwork stating our roof had 5 years left and they put that down as our roof was 5 years old. Massive difference. Forced us to get a new roof well ahead of schedule. So now, we have to scramble to find a company who will replace our roof at the drop of a hat. When I called to ask if it was standard policy to only give people 3 months notice the agent really couldn't care less. Who knows what company actually cares about the families they rip off monthly but Progressive sure doesn't. Save your time and money and look elsewhere we know we sure will.
