Incredible selection here, well staffed, well stocked, and well cleaned. I've noticed that there are always several employees on the floor, and they've been kind and helpful to me if (and when) I have trouble finding something. I will always love Michael's over Hobby Lobby because Michael's is open on Sunday and they have legit Halloween decor. They also are super inclusive. I love coming to browse, like a kid in a candy shop. Everything is just so colorful and organized and the whole store smells nostalgic. I always find what I need and leave inspired. read more

The framing department at this location punctured AND tore the not-exactly-cheap-kinda-irreplaceable poster I expected them to professionally frame. Not only did damage occur to the poster, the frame is an absolute joke, warped on one side, and doesn't meet where one corner comes together. When I picked it up the gal denied that they damaged it, but yeah, I had the pics to prove it and I think I know the condition of one of my treasured belongings. I cried bitterly in the middle of the store, I was so crushed. I give myself zero stars for being the cheap-ass with a coupon who thought I could get a quality framing job and for giving them the benefit of the doubt that their work wouldn't come with additional destruction of my property. I'll give Michael's one star because I can't go any lower on this platform and maybe, who knows, the rest of the store is good--I wouldn't know because I have not set foot in any Michael's store before or since. Beware if you care about something you want to have framed here, just saying. read more

Michaels is the devil lol I went in there for two frames from some prints I purchased from a photographer. I couldn't find frames so I grabbed two mats instead. Walked out with 3 bags of goodies. They had a 50% all Valentine's Day collection and I definitely took advantage. Earned a $5 voucher as well. No one greeted me when I entered the store but it's cool because I was on a mission. The cashier seemed a bit annoyed by my questions during checkout but still a decent experience. Store was clean and organized plus I appreciated that they were open until 8 that night. read more

Today I called the Michael's Store in Lincoln Square in Arlington TX to inquire about a product. I was fortunate to speak with NYK, who may be a manager there. Not only did she say that Michael's carried the product, but she offered to run back & see if it was in stock at this store! YES, thank you. After a short wait, she returned to the phone & described the colors in stock, as well as the price range! I asked where I could find them in the store & she not only gave me visual directions for when I would enter the store, but the exact aisle number! Ok, I was in customer service for approximately 30 years & recognize the spectrum of customer service. We are in a pandemic. We had a big ice storm here & schools/stores were closed for 2 days. EVERY business is short-staffed because of those 2 factors, which has a huge impact on employees, as well as customers. So lately, approximately during the last 2 years, a consumer doesn't expect good service. Please ensure that this message reaches the right people so that NYK is recognized for providing top-notch service. Although the purchase price was small, that is not the point. Michael's is all about craft and hobby supplies. And they do a good job at having what you need. They have plenty of art supplies to start with and that is what I get form here. They do all the holiday decorations great place for that. I am pretty sure if you have a craft/hobby you can find the item here. The prices are good average they do have sales and coupons in the paper. The service is okay not great. You will have to stand in line at the checkout for a bit. They always need more checkers. To get help on the floor you will have to look around for someone. But this is normal at all stores now. Less people working more profit for the company. This Michael's is a nice store kind of new average size. With easy and plenty of parking. read more

Love this store!As a new "artist" I frequent this store for all of my art supply needs. There is an assortment of paints from student to professional. For the most part I find what I'm looking for. What I don't find in store they usually have online. I am, however dissatisfied with the paint brushes and the stocking of them. The same paint covered brush has been there all this year. It's the only one of its kind in the slot. As far as the staff goes, you can't expect much from teens. They never offer help but rather hover and pretend to be cleaning as to watch for theft. It's annoying but I get it. I'm sure people try to steal all the time. I would knock another star off for the staff alone if they weren't teenagers. Still better than Hobby Lobby for painting needs!!! read more

I called ahead of time to see if they had an item in stock that I needed. They said they had 3, so I drove to the store to pick it up. It only took me ten minutes to get there. When I got there they said they had none. So they lied to me on the phone and I drove there for no reason. If you don't have any, why lie to your customer?? read more

As far as craft stores, this location is like most other stores, but what stands out to me about this particular location is the customer service. All of the employees that I have encountered have been very happy to help. Last week I went in to see about getting a few things framed, and the framing attendant was exceptionally helpful. He showed me the cheapest route to framing my pictures, and even though I ended up not having them frame my pictures, he spent ten minutes with me, showing me the cheapest options. I go to this Michaels regularly because of the cleanliness of the store, the selection of products, the helpful employees, and the speedy checkout. I am a veteran scrapbooking fanatic. I'm always needing a few items but no matter where I am, I will plan my route to go to this Michaels in Lincoln square. They are never out of what I am needing, the employees seem to love their job and therefore are helpful and knowledgeable of isles and what's where. Other Michaels I am always stuck in a slow moving checkout process, but not ever at The Lincoln Square location. The clerks are efficient, fast and thoughtful when you need help selecting the best coupon to save you the most money. They truly want you to be happy with your purchase. read more

Michael's a bit more expensive than it's competitors but on the other hand it's convenient, well stocked and there is always a coupon available for regular priced items. I went in search of a small hay bale for my Halloween decorations and Michael's was the only store I could find one. They were on sale so I was pleased. The thing I like about Michael's is their stores no matter what size are all the same. No walk in and wonder what direction to go in. That does happen at their competitor stores. I've been shopping at Michael's since I was in high school before the whole family drama and split. I will continue to shop their because sometimes I hate walking around in huge stores just to get to the crafts department and with Michael's that all it no huge search. read more

The customer service at this location is extremely great. I (shamelessly) go into Michael's 3-4 times a week and the staff is always so helpful and kind, especially the cute girl with the glasses that works in the photo section!!! She's so sweet. She deserves a raise read more
