I realized I needed to return to the store the next day to "re-shop" my choices. Next day I go to store. At this point I am told I cannot exchange, return or get a store credit. No one ever told me that this was the case. Not when I first purchased. Not when I called. There is no sign that states this policy. So basically, I made a $200 donation. Transparency regarding store policies is a must. So much for doing business with local, small businesses. Cannot support the small businesses that are not doing ethical business. Small businesses work hard for every client. You would think as hard as it is the customer would be valued and treated honestly.

I saw this place listed on IG and checked it out. They have everything in this market store. Food, chocolate, wine, jewelry, men's stuff, kids stuff, homeware, party supplies. There is so much to see, and I found a cute tray for my bathroom counter and bought some toffee. I will make this a place I visit often, especially to take friends to, or when looking for a gift! The staff are super friendly and are willing to help you locate what ever you need or what you didn't know you needed yet. One of my favorite discoveries was the vast array of teas that they have available. However they also have accessories for brewing your tea as well as the body scrub and body butter that you can customize with your own scent. Need wine? They got it? Need spices? Got them too. They are open until 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday. For those of us that work until 5 or 5, it's really difficult to make it to a needlepoint store typically. I visited twice within the first week of opening and the staff is very kind. The space is beautiful, there are chairs and tables to work and chat. They have classes planned for beginners and other events. I would definitely recommend if you are interested in beginning needlepoint or adding to your collection!

The flowers sat at the lobby from 10 am until 6:30 pm when my family called me to ask if I have enjoyed my surprise. What surprised I said ? Bottom line is the reception got the flowers and it was addressed to me with my room number and never let me know until the end of the day when my husband called asking for ? This is unacceptable and very disheartening and when I called and spoke with the manager on duty who was extremely rude to me and literally careless. It would have been an amazing experience to get flowers from my loved ones on my bday in a hotel in another state. I would expect an apology followed by something... but nope the manager on duty was rude and unprofessional. Not a happy ending of my vacation in Dallas at the Sheraton Hotel. He was always there to greet me with a warm smile everyday! He would rush to the door to hold it open upon my return daily. He is the front line of exemplary customer service. I stopped in Needlepoint This, because I'm going all in and I'll now be that woman who visits every LNS. All of the ladies in here were lovely, welcoming and helpful. I quickly let them know I'm brand new and looking to start needlepoint quite soon. I picked up a Waffle House canvas (my first 18 count as my blueberry pancakes is a 13) and some thread. Jane was especially kind to not have me spend too much seeing as though this will be one of my first projects and helped select essentials thread for my stitching. There's that itty bitty part of me that always wants the good stuff but I'm sure this will be just fine seeing as though I'm not even certain how this whole new found desire to make this a hobby of mine will turn out. I stitched my first stitch with Jane and she was very encouraging and supportive. Their classes are sold out for the remainder of the year which feels common in the area. I'm really hoping to find a great one somewhere because I love hands on learning and feel most comfy around a professional to get started and answer questions that will undoubtedly arise. We'll see, as each day passes I'm growing more confident in just starting on my own with videos. I now have just about everything I think I'll need to begin. Jane gave me a project bag and some travel scissors in addition to a couple other needles. I liked her suggestion to not use stretcher bars, although I have some I may experiment with different ways to see which I prefer. Parking is a little wonky in the area due to construction on Lovers Lane, I'd suggest trying to park across the road if you can't snag a spot on their side.
