Character-themed Hasbro games were solely placed on a top-most shelf. The items on the lower shelves were from independent manufacturers. One of the character-based games caught my eye. Fortunately, one of the young hires approached me at the right time. After pointing to the game, she excused herself, went to the back room to get a ladder and grabbed the game. If I had wanted one of the independently-published games, I could have it grabbed myself. Browsing the store with my hands full was cumbersome. The same employee offered to take the items to the register until I was ready to pay. When it was time to pay, I opted for their complimentary gift-wrapping. If there was a wait, they would have texted me.

Shipments are received weekly so you'll always find new items. They're always pushing inventory onto the floor so nothing is stocked in the back. If you see something you like, you better grab it because chances are it won't be there the next time nor will it be restocked! This store is a combo store so they are connected to TJ Maxx. Purchases for both stores can be rung up together. For bigger items such as furniture, rugs, and paintings, these items can be held at the front while you continue to shop. Just ask an associate for assistance. They have a cool help button in that section now so you don't have to flag someone down. Again, snag these up items when you see them, because they could be gone by the time you come back after browsing. You can find items for every room in your home, from living room furniture to bedding and bath and all the kitchen things! I love to cook so that's my favorite section. They even have little sections for pets, kids, storage, office accessories, and gourmet foods as well. It's pretty neat finding unique items for the home under one roof. The checkout line can also be long on the weekends, but I understand some purchases require a little extra care...ie wrapping fragile ceramics. Be patient people! So many gripes and eyes rolling from fellow customers. Customer service is great. There are always associates walking around. The store is generally neat and organized. It's not easy keeping it in tip top shape with so many customers coming in and out. I've been coming here almost weekly and even though I love it, I may need an intervention soon :)

Internet searches, and YouTube videos, suggest going to an auto parts store for the repair kit. Well I have been driving past this Tandy Leather location for over 20 years. Never once was I curious about the store, beyond the Tandy name. Well when Thuy got it in here mind to fix this sofa, and after watching many a YouTube video, I said, "Hey, what about the leather store on 377?" Thuy read the reviews, and was not optimistic. She decided to call first, and received from very helpful information from Sherry. We decided to go check it out in person. First off, Wow! I can not get over all the options in this place. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. Anything to do with leather is here. Leather of all sorts. Things to decorate leather with. Tools. Dyes. Even project kits, some very intricate. We met Sherry, and she was super helpful. Helped us with repair ideas, gave us some scraps (to put behind the area needing repair), taught us about the special glues used to bond leather, then told us about dying and color matching. So helpful. Thuy thinks she is all set. We also learned there are classes here too. We enjoyed our visit very much. Glad the negative review did not keep us away. I waited in line with over 50 other folks until 10am when we were let in the store. This Torrid is super open, large, and has tons of options such as jeans, leggings, sweaters, jewelry, and tops. They actully have a section dedicated to the special ponte pants. Also, I love that they already have a clearance section, which was an extra 50% off today! Unfortunately I wasn't one of the folks to get a gift card for $100, but I did get one for $10, so I will be back!
