I called looking for a particular wine and they had two bottles. I drive over there right away and they were so nice to hold them for me.

We were on our way to a Greek wedding and thought it would be fun to pick up some Ouzo. We quickly googled local liquor stores and found Michael's. We called ahead to check if they had the Ouzo in stock and the store owner confirmed so we headed over. Once we arrived, we were surprised to find the cutest little store with an outdoor seating bar area for drinks. They also had the Ouzo ready for us at the register to check out! We recently used Michael's liquor to provide the alcohol for our wedding. We had about 100 guests and I could not be more happy with this business. They were very professional and quick to respond to any and all questions. The prices were very fair and best of all they delivered our entire order and picked up the left over liquor, which was credited back and a new invoice was updated. We were in town for the National's spring training and needed to stock up on some things for an event and stumbled upon Michael's Liquors. Since I'm not an alcoholic I don't frequent many liquor stores, and for the reason that most are pretty much the same, why would I review one? Who cares as long as they sell alcohol right? I mean it's not like it's a grocery store and the produce is at a threat of being rotten. Anyway, this place was a nice change from some I've been to simply because of the staff. The one guy checked my ID and being as I live in Hollywood CA, he went on to tell me a story of how he used to spend time in Los Angeles and how he was a part of the Beach Boys song 'Sailor to Sailor'. I cannot remember his name, but he was so enthusiastic about his story and he even whipped out paperwork to prove that he was on this album. Which led me to believe he must tell this story all the time, but being a huge music lover I appreciated his brush with fame and his story. Though, my fiancé was less than pleased because he sat waiting in the car for 20 minutes wondering what the hell was so hard about buying a bottle of tequila. The moral of this story is quality service, which is so important and often over looked. I'd highly recommend this liquor store, based on the staff and the story! read more

Outstanding service! I would rate them more stars if I could. We used Michael's Liquor to provide alcohol for our wedding in Cocoa Beach and couldn't be more impressed and happy with their service. Trey especially, was the one who helped us throughout the process and he was beyond accommodating. From start to finish, Trey did everything he could to help us with any requests we had. Coming from Boston, we had no idea what brands were available in FL, so we gave Trey a list of products that we didn't know his store didn't even carry. Trey went out of his way to find what we had asked for. And if he couldn't get us what we wanted, he would provide us with alternatives that were the closest to what we had asked. Even on the day of our wedding, we had a little hiccup with our pre-ordered products from Amazon, so we called Trey to see if we could buy those from his store. Even though Michael's Liquor didn't carry them, Trey went above and beyond and look for them at other stores and brought them to us. As if that's not enough, the morning after the wedding, Michael's Liquor came to the venue and pick up most of the remaining products that we hadn't used, then credited us back for those. Just overall INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!! Thank you, Michael's Liquor and Trey so much for making the process so unbelievably smooth. We visit friends in the area on a regular basis and always stop in to Michael's for provisions. Great selection, but more importantly, a knowledgeable owner who can actually have an intelligent conversation about liquor. It's the difference between going to Home Depot, where you're lucky to find any help, let alone someone who actually knows what the heck they're talking about, or going to the local hardware store where the staff listens to what you're asking for and makes good recommendations. If you don't see something on the shelf, ask Michael and he'll find it, order it for you, and call you when it's in. You can't ask for more. Frankly, Michael's is not as cheap as the liquor superstore a few miles away. But I get in and out as quickly as I need to, and I don't have to put up with the mega-store BS. For the quality service and the convenience, I recommend this friendly local business. read more
