    Philly Cheesesteak w sweet potatoes

Per their website: "After 20 years in our previous location in Cocoa Village as Murdock's Southern Bistro, our lease was not renewed. So what did we do? We bought the old Norman's Raw Bar right at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic!! It has been a challenge, but after a full renovation, we're proud to present you Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Still". Murdock's was a solid place for good food and good weekend live entertainment. Their new place here, "Tin Whiskey Southern Kitchen & Grill" is now in a more visible location with more space, especially outside where a huge wraparound covered patio includes both table seating as well as bar seating. I ordered their Traditional Philly Cheesesteak ($13.99), which consisted of shaved ribeye, peppers, onions, mushrooms & provolone. (Swap the shaved ribeye for your choice of catfish, cod or chicken). A side was included so I chose the sweet potato fries - which were actually more correctly sweet "tater tots". I ordered a Red Lager IPA for my drink ($6.00). My sandwich came out steaming hot, and was very good. The sweet potatoes were tasty, and the red lager was cold and refreshing. Jason was an excellent employee checking in on us throughout our lunch. I'm going with a strong 4 stars and am looking forward to returning on a Tuesday to try their tacos and take advantage of their Taco Tuesday special. Stop by and check them out.

We were in cocoa for a fundraiser and came across this gem of a place driving by and said we need to check it out. And glad we did!!! We had a fairly large party and our server was great. She handled us all and was top notch. We sat outside in the covered patio but it did not feel like being outside. Yes the sun was setting and right on us but it was still comfortable out there. The food was good. Started out with the artichoke hearts. Would have liked a few more hearts rather than the petals but over all very good. I got the buffalo grilled cheese and it had some good flavors and loaded with chicken. My lady got the spinach goat cheese and walnut salad with shrimp and she loved every bite of it. Will definitely stop in there again when in the area and maybe when it's a little cooler and really enjoy the outside patio. Plus it's right near the cocoa village with the shops to stroll around

We are definitely "has to be good 2x in a row people". This made the list. We went in for a nice family dinner. We had Amanda and she was incredible. Attentive without being overbearing and had great energy and personality. Food was delicious and came out with perfect timing! Will recommend to anyone who asks.

Really nice decor and seat yourself so we chose a great spot. Started with home made pork rinds. Hot and fast but no flavor. Suggest seasoning them or serving with a dipping sauce. Jess had BLT and it was average. A bit too salty and she loves salt. Fries were good. I had ribs and they were very average. Slaw was not good. Never got the bbq beans. Overall not the best experience for our first try. Servers were pleasant, though.

Tin Whiskey was a very big upscale southern food restaurant. It has a big outdoor seating area with a bar as well as a huge indoor seating area and indoor bar. We sat in the indoor bar and got some drinks and ordered the Chicken Digits, their version of tenders. The tenders were good, lightly breaded and came with seasoned fries and bbq sauce that was smoky deliciousness. Service was great and did not have to wait a long time, even while it wasn't super busy, it still had quite a few people in there. I do recommend here if you like southern themes and want a quick drink.

Food was awesome, place was legit. Some picky eaters and they were happy. The place is huge.

I ordered the Americana club sandwich (pictured) and switched out the fries for sweet potato ones - I loved it! It was very delicious and filling. Other people in my party ordered the Americana burger amongst other things not pictured. They all said they enjoyed it. My only note about this place was that when we arrived it was basically empty and even with it being empty, the food took a while to come out - much longer than you'd expect for the restaurant being slow. Other than that the overall experience was good and I do recommend going if you want a tasty sandwich/burger.

From the jump, it became one of my "if we dont know where we want to eat, go here" kind of places. Easy, consistent and delicious every single time. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer. I was apprehensive, a tuna app at a pub? Fresh fruit, ginger, tuna was seasoned well, I couldnt be happier. It was trying a well balanced poke bowl right from the start. The wings. Award winning. I am so picky about wings, so to have a place make them properly brings me to my happy place. The wings cooked well, and the buffalo sauce has a kick like its supposed to. Its been a MUST every visit. I dont even know if they have other flavors. We tried the SPECIALE PIZZETTA, and that now gets ordered every time. This place could legit be a pizza place. In an area where good pizza is hard to find, this is a perfect solution. Now Ive tried a few burgers, every burger has been seasoned perfectly and still juicy despite asking for medium well, its only a matter of what you'd like for a topping. The Village Blues burger may be my favorite so far, its the only one ive had twice. The staff is great with us, they always have new beers to try, and its a why not situation! My only ask at all would be steak frites on the menu, I think that would be made so fire in a spot like this. That said, I came to write this review thinking about them because I might just get dinner there today!

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

Stephanie and Ava bent over backwards to accommodate us and not send us wandering for another restaurant at 7:30pm on a Friday night. Exceptional and empathetic customer service! Great views, ambience, and vibes. Food? Excellent. From the lobster rolls to the burgers, bowls and seafood, all were well seasoned and prepared. Our server, Amanda, was clocking our table a visit every 3-5 minutes. Wonderful!! Just a note, no pets allowed, despite what some online reviews and apps would have you believe ... even if you dock your boat, your canine must stay on your vessel. So highly recommended and will return the next time we visit.

Also, there allow beach attire, so it makes for a good post beach dinner. The venue is open air which provides great views of the river.
