I came here on Saturday with my mom, who loves to sew, and she wanted to pick up some unique fabrics from here that you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else, unless you went to the States. The door to come into the place is deceiving, it's one door, and the entrance and exit are one in the same and immediately to the left are the shopping carts, and to the right are the cashiers. The aisle-ways are somewhat narrow for these shopping carts, but the fabric selection is HUGE. My mom was like a kid in a candy store. She had a mission for flannel to make something for a baby shower for some friends of ours. We also found some Doctor Who fabrics, which I never thought we could find in London, let alone Canada. The employees were fairly nice and helpful, could be a bit more enthusiastic, they didn't really look happy to be there. The aisles are kind of small to walk through and the entire place is full of items, not a regular tidy store you would usually walk into, but if you know what you want and what you're looking for, for a fairly good bargain, this would be the place!

I bought their Serenity 20 base that was advertised as machine washable and good for socks. The…read moresocks started pilling before I was even done making them. The socks I made from skeins marked as machine washable shrunk in the first gentle, cold machine wash. Another that I hand washed thinned through on the heel in just a few gentle uses to the point that they are uncomfortable. Hat that was never washed, just worn a few times by the recipient pilled and looks like a dog chewed on it. The manufacturer went and deleted all my review on a different platform. I noticed that there isn't one single negative or average review out there. It's not because every single experience is excellent. It's because they delete negative reviews to prevent you from seeing their customers' legitimate experience. They gave me a few excuses: 1. I didn't handle the socks properly (I did). 2. It's not their yarn probably, it can't be (it is). 3. One of the skeins isn't marked as machine washable (what about the ones that are?! they shrunk, pilled, thinned and felted, too). 4. I washed and wore the socks and it's normal. (Really? I don't want socks that look like a dog chewed on them after just a few wears and washes). Then they proceeded to delete those reviews too. At least, they updated their page to remove that the yarn is machine washable, which should deter sock makers that want to be able to machine wash their socks. To top this off, on the same day I posted the review, they solicited a bunch of 5 stars reviews. This is manipulative and beyond unethical. Beware if you buy their yarn. I originally gave their yarn 2 stars, not 1, and I would have used it for other things, but after they mishandled this, went around deleting the report of my experience making and wearing socks, I'm done. You don't deserve even one star for this.

So incredibly disappointed in this company. I have emailed them 3 times asking them to contact me…read moreregarding my purchase. Apparently customers are not a priority. Since they are not interested in helping...I will have to warn others to beware of this company.
