This Michaels store located in Montgomery in East Chase the customer service from a front-end cashier was terrible. The young that looked so slouchy looking when I first walked in the store was nice nasty rude. I'm assuming it was close to her time to get off 4pm she was ready to go, and you could tell all over face. I didn't even want to ask for help from her I ended up asking a more friendly face on the floor she walked over with me and helped me find what I was looking for she was nice. When I ended up checking out, I was having trouble with the self-check-out and using my app coupons .I looked around for a while before the cashier who was checking out other customer attempted to answer my question, but really didn't it was okay because she was taking care of other customers. I noticed she had that nasty rude cashier in her line I said to her sorry to bother you I know that you're probably off but are you able to answer a question for me she looked at me like lady don't ask me nothing then turned and rolled her eyes the cashier laugh I just went ahead and push the button for needing assistance clearly this place need to speak with their workers about they attitudes and how to treat customers because the one that came to help at self-check-out she wasn't any better her attitude showed on her face nasty and short rude as well . Rude staff person. She saw that I needed help with something on the top shelf never said a word. I asked her for help and she walked off like she was about to either help or get some help and she never came back. I ended up having to climb up to get what I needed. I walk to the front to pay and that same employee is just up in the front doing nothing but standing around. Worst customer service ever! read more

My 10 year-old daughter loves Michaels, she comes here for practically all her crafting needs. As a mom to a very artistic child hi I can come to Michael's and she can walk around and look around freely hi I also grab some things for my own crafting needs. The staff is often sparse, but the ones on the floor are helpful. read more

Decent experiences here overall, but today was great. It's Dec. 23. I stood in line with a display box for 15 minutes (because it was an item a manager had to get, apparently). When I got to the cashier she said she couldn't get the item. I'd have to get back in line with another lady. W. T. F. Stood in line for an additional 15 or so minutes. I actually started this review uber pissed. Then, when she came back the item was over $150. I told the lady....can't do it. She responded, "what if you had a coupon for 50% off?" I said I didn't have one. She pulls out her phone, finds a coupon online or something, and I get the item half off. Did I mention it was the last one in stock?? This Michael's has been in desperate need of good management. I know that first hand as some years back I used to work here. It seems like it finally has that. About a month ago my mom and I went in for the $5 grab bags. The manager Jessica told us she would have some more the next day. We found out she would be putting together some grab boxes that would be ready that day. She even watched my buggy while I ran an errand during the wait. Jessica is knowledgeable and kind. I hope this store thrives under her leadership. The grab boxes were awesome!! Packed full of incredible stuff. 5 stars for Jessica!!! read more

I have a love hate relationship with this store. I love their supplies, I love raiding their clearance items, I love their sales. So what do I hate? It goes for all Michael's stores: you can't use coupons on books! Boo, hiss! Luckily, JoAnn is two or three doors down, and they let you use coupons on books. Sometimes it's cluttered and crowded feeling. Oh, and if you want to use a coupon, you'd better speak up! My mom wanted to use one, laid it down with the item she was using it on, and the cashier ignored it. When my mom asked why the cashier didn't ring it up, the cashier pretended like she didn't know what my mom was talking about. My mom found the coupon in the bag with her things when she got home. read more

MAKE THAT 0 STARS. I had 2 put 1 STAR 2 POST. WHY, I DONT KNOW? AWEFUL SERVICE & BAD ATTITUDE IN EVERY WAY! I walk in the door half way. 1st thing the girl said was "We close in 5 minutes ". They acted like rude teenagers who just wanted to get home, not what i call a good staff!!!! I am 49 years old & have worked in the RETAIL/ RESTAURANT INDUSTRY for over 30 years. PEOPLE always walk into the restaurant at 8:55 & 9:00, but you know what? I STILL wait on them with NO ATTITUDE! YOUR EMPLOYEES who worked WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 28th, 2018 were some of the RUDEST STAFF I ever came across. I'M sorry u counted your register, but i had 5 minutes. The manager Adriene has a nasty I don't care attitude, I stopped at this Michaels yesterday. First, the cashier waited until the last minute to ask for change I only paid with $20 and had to wait 15mins just for the manager to hive change, she didn't apologize and was rude just because I asked what took so long?? I guess customer service is not on top list here. I felt so disrespected and disappointed I immediately called corporate office as I left the store so I wouldn't forget. read more

I have always had great customer service at this Michael's. They are very helpful with the projects my children have for school. They don't just tell you what aisle the item you are looking for is on, they take you to the item. Beth and the manager Brittany were very friendly and eager to help. read more
