It's a real community spot. The yarn selection ranges from standard go-tos like Berroco and Plymouth, to lovely stuff from Malabrigo and Juniper Moon Farm, to indie hand-dyes. The trend seems to be toward fashion colors and styles. I'm not exactly a fashionista myself, and I still find it easy to leave with creative choices. Especially because everyone there has been so willing to help me discover something I can't wait to knit or crochet up. Right now it's a super yummy pima cotton dk yarn I'm using for a shawl, and next up I have a cozy soft 100% recycled yarn for a cardigan. I called the store in advance to help set aside some yarn (so I could just pay right at the counter) and they were super accommodating since I was looking to get a ton of yarn, too. Overall, the yarns at the store are of great quality and price, and the selection covers nearly all types of yarn for all sorts of projects. I will definitely make this my local yarn stores for my future projects, and they carry one of my favorite yarn brands like Knitting for Olive! Heads up: one of the staff said that they rotate yarn fibers seasonally so you're going to see more selections of wool/heavier yarns in the fall and winter, and lighter yarns like cotton in the spring and summer.
