The Spot lived up to its billing. We saw that it was a sponsor of my son's baseball team, and as it…read morewas his birthday and we had just finished a game - and he loves Sports Bars!!! BINGO! It had a large patio, a bit cool for that, but comfortable booths and tables surrounded by glowing screens. Great service, a large selection of beverages, and a well-rounded menu. I loved the Fish and Chips, son customized his burger for rapid inhalation, and my wife savoured a pulled pork delight. The Spot was a hit, and so grateful for their sponsorship of Miracle Field!

There's a full bar and a little lounge area with sofa seating in the front. There's bar tops and high tops as well. There's ample space in the dining area with booths and tables. Very tidy and clean. The flight of margaritas was delicious with different fruit flavors. Buffalo chicken dip was a great appetizer that could feed a few people. The grilled Cobb salad was AMAZING! I didn't know what dressing I wanted so I got the cucumber wasabi and balsamic vinaigrette on the side. The cucumber wasabi was what intrigued me and it was so delicious. A hint of wasabi flavor but not too much to overpower the palate. I ended up enjoying it more than the balsamic vinaigrette. There was fresh cooked bacon, corn, eggs, grape tomatoes, avocado, cheese, olives and a beautiful mix of greens; all super fresh and delicious. I can't wait to return!

Open mic Thursdays, karaoke Fridays! Bathrooms are a bit grimy but - dive bar people come on! Just make a nest, sit down and wash up. Lovely patio on the side of the building just don't get locked out. Back of the building always smells like skunk outside if you catch my drift. Bartenders are all very nice, including the owners daughter who's recently started. I've been here several times in the last few years since living here and of the few bars in town- this one is usually the most lit. If you come early though the place is very quiet and you could hear a pin drop! Great service either way. Oh and if you're hungry? Popcorn.

True Score: 3.5 Stars…read more This is a laidback local bar, oftentimes with live music. It's not fancy, and the beverages are pretty standard, but the vibe is pretty good and no one will bother you. I've come here several times with friends and we've had a good time, each time we've come here. You can bring your own food if you want as well (they don't really serve food). Parking can be a bit tight on busy nights, so be prepared to park nearby if you get here later in the evening. The bartenders are friendly, even when they're busy, and they tend to remember their regulars. There's also an outdoor seating area. Thanks
