    NY strip

I usually don't like pub food but the food at the Main Pub is amazing! I usually get their burger because it's so good but their tater tots, mac, NY strip and everything I've smooch off of other's plates have always been good. I love their bands, karaoke nights on Sunday and another day during the week. I joined their rewards club and didn't even realize that I had a $10 rewards last night. What a pleasant surprise. The service is always with a smile and the drinks are fantastic. Plenty of bar area since there's two sides, a beautiful patio, and another dining area where it's quieter. Family friendly as well. My girls loved their Mac/chicken tenders and veggie burger! Nothing like steak and a glass of cab while listening to people having fun singing karaoke! Can't wait to go back on a Friday or Saturday for their famous Prime Rib! Word is that they've been selling out so her there when they start serving it at 4pm!

This one's a little tricky to rate because I didn't even go inside the restaurant, so I have no idea about the bar setup or the bathrooms. But based on the patio experience, here's my take: The patio itself is stunning: lush plants everywhere, cozy fireplaces, string lights, and even live music. As the sun set, they brought out little battery candles for the tables, which gave it such a romantic vibe. Honestly, 10/10 for atmosphere. Perfect for a date night, or in my case, a night out with a friend. Food was more of a mixed bag. The garlic bread was a total letdown! It honestly should have just come as a free side with a salad instead of being served as an appetizer. It was underwhelming and overpriced for what it was. The Cobb salad was fresh and delicious, but a pretty basic salad. The homemade ranch was a win (points for that!), but honestly, the bacon was cold and not good at all. I added salmon for an upcharge, and I'm glad I did because without it, the salad would've been disappointing My friend had a burger and loved it. Her fries were the standout, thick, twisty, wedge potatoes that reminded me of the ones at Sicily in Middletown. Funny enough, she ordered sweet potato fries but got these instead, and I'm actually glad because now I know they're on the menu. The service was fantastic (even despite the fry mixup). Our server was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. No complaints there. Neither of us ordered alcohol, so I can't speak for the bar service. Overall: the patio is the star here and makes it worth coming back for the view, the live music, and the vibe alone. Next time, I'll check out the inside (I'm guessing TVs and pub-style atmosphere, perfect for football season). I also spotted another table order huge plates of wings, so that's what I'll try next time. Stay tuned for round two.

Came here for Sunday night Karaoke. The atmosphere was great. Great group of people that came out to sing. The bartender was great and very nice. Both bartender and manager kept everyone safe especially from those who may have over drank. Would definitely come back to try their food! Kitchen closed at 10p.

80s music. Wings and good friend.. all I needed for good Friday night. Loved trying the new cocktails on the season menu. I highly recommend trying before it goes away. The Olde Mill and the Chai Cantina The wings are cooked to perfection Garlic Parmesan and sweet chilli I always order my wings naked then dip them into the sauce. Also tried Mom's chili and it was so delicious. The French fries also a hit! Loved the live music . Over all great spot. Amazing staff as well.

We made a follow up visit to The Main Pub in Manchester, CT,. We had the pleasure of sampling a few dishes: the spinach and artichoke dip, fish and chips, and the blackened chicken Caesar salad. The spinach and artichoke dip, without a doubt, stole the show--it's the best we've ever tasted, creamy and packed with flavor. The fish and chips were equally delightful, offering a generous portion at a great price, with a crispy exterior and flavorful fish that hit all the right notes. The only hiccup was the blackened chicken Caesar salad--the chicken itself was unfortunately on the dry side, which detracted a bit from an otherwise enjoyable dish. However, the attentive service more than made up for it, with our server ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Overall, we're rating this experience a solid 7.5/10 and still happily recommend The Main Pub to others. It's worth revisiting for the inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and menu standouts like that incredible spinach and artichoke dip. Give it a try--you might just find your new favorite go-to spot! We wanted to beat the heat (and wait out automotive service) so we sought out brewpubs. We had driven past a few times, but it was calling... The air was cool, the interior cozy, the atmosphere lovely (great tunes). A nice beer collection served up Counter Weight "Precious Petals" (yummy) and Bell's Two Hearted Ale, both of which were tasty. Son has been channeling Harry Potter and made the OG Hamburger disappear (Look, Ma, no wand!") with massive fries. My Ranchero Burger (BBQ enhanced) was superb. The BLT was great, but more than enough for slim esposa. We joined the loyalty program, and shall return!

    Nice, large patio area.

First visit. Excellent. Big, easy parking lot. Large outdoor patio with many flowers. Indoor tables nicely separated. Best fish sandwich I've had for quite a while. Manager said they do a lot of fish in sandwiches, tacos, on salads etc and they get whole fish every day which they process on site. Worth the trip!

I had lunch today at the main pub with my daughter and her in-laws. It was a delicious meal. The outstanding part was the honey mustard, aïoli sauce that we dipped our french fries in. Delicious I had a Long Island iced tea. That was very good. The second one was much stronger than the first and then I had a chicken sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Delicious. The french fries were very good as well. I loved sitting at the bar. It was a great vibe.

Loved EVERYTHING about this place. Number one being how extremely clean it is.. how calm and beautiful it is. The decor is gorgeous. The staff is the SWEETEST and so attentive. Prices are great! The portions are perfect. The food was actually VERY delicious.. my favorite today was definitely the artichoke dip, it was crispy on top and creamy. My favorite artichoke dip will always be from here now. Also.. those pub fries!!! Wow! Also had their signature dry rub wings.. loved those too! Can't wait to try more of their foods!!

Still really good food…read more Returned to this location to see if they were still doing well. Got a full English breakfast special, minus the blood sausage. Also ordered a mocktail of a basil lemonade. The drink was not too sweet and the basil added a tiny touch of herby savoryness which was a nice accent flavor. The full English breakfast was cooked well, good quality ingredients and each element was seasoned appropriately. I could only make a small dent in the dish before sending it back satisfied. The server was friendly, but I threw them off with my quirky behavior. Lead to a little slower service and multiple requests for some items. Nothing against the establishment, just something that happened during my visit. Still a strong recommendation for Main Street, and worth a trek to try.

I'm back! I love this place! It's quiet here ) it's only a Tuesday) but we're late (arrived at 9:15…read morePM). There is no shortage of decor here! I like the huge carafe of ice water and the spicy potato chips! For my first drink, I'm having a Negroni. A negroni is an Italian cocktail, made of equal parts gin, vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and Campari, generally served with ice, and commonly garnished with an orange slice or orange peel. It is considered an apéritif. They also have an Obi Wan Negroni made with Cold Brew Infused Campari instead. For my first food item, I'm having the Cream of Mushroom soup with chicken. Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where a basic roux is thinned with creamor milk and then mushrooms or mushroom brothare added. This is delicious! It's nice and hot with a lot of shredded chicken. For my entree, I'm having the Brussels Sprout Salad made with shaved Brussels sprouts, spring mix, bacon, pomegranate drizzle, silvered almonds, shaved Parmesan and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Look at the height of this! This tastes great! I am also having a side of mushy peas. Mushy peas are a traditional British side dish of marrowfat peas that are cooked until soft and mashed into a mush. The dish is especially popular in Northern England and the Midlands, and often eaten with fish and chips or served as part of "pie and peas". Here's a quick overview of mushy peas: Ingredients** Traditionally made with dried marrowfat peas, but can be substituted with frozen peas or green split peas. I love this! It's nice and hot.,What a rare treat! This is hard to find anywhere! I'm also having a side of cold slaw. Coleslaw, or "slaw" in North America, is a side dish of shredded cabbage with a vinaigrette or mayo-based dressing. The word "coleslaw" comes from the Dutch term koolsla, meaning "cabbage salad". Recipes vary by region and can include additional ingredients like carrots, apples, raisins, or celery. Coleslaw originated in the Netherlands in the 18th century, but references to similar cabbage salads appear in ancient Greek and Roman medical texts. This is the best! Nice, thick dressing! For my last drink, I'm having a Godfather. The Godfather is a sweet and strong cocktail that blends Scotch whisky and amaretto liqueur. It's typically served in an old-fashioned glass over ice and can be garnished with an orange twist. The drink became popular in the 1970s disco scene and is named after the 1972 film starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. Some say bartender Joe Scialom created the Godfather to capture the movie's spirit. This is done just right! Good job! What a great meal here!

Just functional. I was there on an NFL Sunday. There were lots of regulars. There was good interaction with the staff. I didn't catch her name, but the woman who was the only person working the bar and waiting on the tables was amazing. She was super friendly to everyone. She hustled to meet everyone's needs. It wouldn't surprise me if she is an owner too. It's hard to find people, who aren't owners, who are that committed. I asked for a wing flavor recommendation and she said "Montreal Honey" first. I ordered 6. The wings are part-baked and then finished in a fryer. Good inner and outer texture. The Montreal Seasoning was right on. The Honey didn't have much of a presence either visually or flavor-wise. More was needed to balance the salt from the Montreal Seasoning and to justify the Honey in the name. I tried both the Blue Cheese and the Ranch. I'd recommend the Blue Cheese. I'll definitely return to try more wing flavors. I also ordered a crock of chili, which was full of ground beef and topped with melted cheddar and chopped red onions. The chili was solid. I'd probably try something else before I ordered it again though. I'm a fan of Hideaway and I'll be back. 4.25 Stars
