They are stocked in all colors too. I have been coming to the nail salon for years. I just so happen to go last week while owner/Tommy…read morewho usually does my nails is on vacation so I had services provided from a lady who sits at the front nail station to the left. I asked for an almond shape full set of nails. She did what I asked her to do, but the shaping of the nails needed more shaping, and the acrylic was laid down very thick. When she was finished, I mentioned to her that I did not like the way the nails came out that they needed to be thinned out and re-shaped. It looked as if I needed a fill before I left. She told me that if I wanted for it to look new then I need to pay additional for that. I told her that I had to leave and would not pay anything extra. She told me if I did not like my nails to come back on Tuesday because they were closed on Monday and she would fix it. I didn't make it out until Thursday, but before I went to the salon, I called and spoke with her and she told me to come in at a certain time and that she would fix it. Once I got there, she looked at my hands and she said everything was fine and that if I wanted any additional services I would have to pay for them. She recommended that I would get a fill, and if I wanted them to be thinned out, they would charge me to take them off and charge me for a brand new set to be placed back on. I find it ridiculous and sad that a long time customer has to go look for another nail salon because she did not want to fix what she had done. Unfortunately, I have acrylic all on the sides of my nail onto the skin and she still would not fix that. The shape is not the same for all nails and they are not even. She was very quick to try to get me to sit down and offer services to me but at full price. I understand this is a business, and everyone wants to make money, but the service you provide does matter. If the customer is not happy with the services you provided, then the nail tech should fix the work that was done. She was quick to argue with me, but still wanted me to sit down and get services done at full price. It's really sad because I am a loyal customer and have been going there for so many years, but to pay as much as they're charging and not be satisfied or not even mediocre happy for that matter is totally not worth it. There are a ton of nail salons all down Culebra where anyone can just move on as I have done now. If you do go to the nail salon, I would suggest you use Tommy or the other male gentleman and if neither one of them are available, don't settle for anyone else.

I sent pictures of the style I wanted and was given a price.... when I arrived and expressed my concern that the hairstyle would be to heavy Tia assured me it would not be and other style I showed her would pull out my edges. So it was agreed we would go with the first style. Never did she say she was doing my hair different or making the braids smaller.... but after she had finished she asked if I liked it and I told her it did not look like the picture I sent her and she continued to ask to see while doing my hair.... she then stated she does not include curly hair in braiding... this was not told to me before this moment... she said she could add curly hair and I wish I had said NO as I looked a fool with strains of curly hair coming out of my braids. She took pictures of my hair and posted them online and after a night of sleep and dismay that I was traveling out of town looking a mess I sent her a text asking her to remove the pictures and I hated my hair only to be told I was old enough to have more tact and grace as well as the pictures served there purpose.... I wished she was professional enough to tell me she was not capable of providing the style requested... over 3 hours for 10 ugly braids!
