I can't say enough about how happy I am that Michele Carroll was our wedding coordinator. Our wedding was last weekend at Halter Ranch, and she CRUSHED it. It doesn't really matter what kind of Bride/Groom you are (i.e. wanting to plan, not wanting to plan, not sure what the heck you're doing, sure but needing some coordination), you need Michele. I spoke to several coordinators before hiring her...I either felt like they were pushing me/pitching me, inexperienced, or a little aloof. I had (what I thought) was a clear vision of the kind of wedding I wanted, but really wanted someone I trusted to help me pull it off. We live several hours away from Paso, and Michele is knowledgeable about vendors and gave us great recommendations. She is also design-savy, accommodating, creative, organized, detail-oriented, and seriously just perfect at what she does. I'm an anxious person by nature, and she helped me navigate wedding planning, gave me wonderful solutions to some inevitable planning-related headaches, and supported our families and bridal party the day of. She really thinks of everything, and doesn't push her opinions or agenda at all. Our officiant and bridal party members loved her so much. I don't know how our wedding would have gone without her, but it went so smoothly because of her. She's also just a wonderful, sweet, caring person. I'm going to miss emailing/texting her! Michele's packages are extremely reasonable. One thing I loved about her that other coordinators didn't offer was her wedding inventory. When you're crunching numbers constantly, every little thing helps. She has so many decor items that she's used or purchased for other weddings, and lends them to couples who want to use them. This is such a smart, sustainable way to provide things like signage and candle votives, which I'm sure so many couples waste money on and then never use again. We opted for the day-of coordination services, but truth be told, Michele provided much more. From the very beginning, Michele was extremely responsive with our emails, text messages, and phone calls. These back-and-forth communications ranged from advice on vendors to wedding design ideas. She made the planning experience for us stress free and made us feel very confident in what we wanted to do. We met with Michele in-person several times prior to the rehearsal and the big day - when we were meeting potential wedding coordinators, during our walk-through, and during our visits with other vendors. She even met with vendors when we weren't able to. During the day of the wedding, Michele made us feel very comfortable about the entire experience. She was on top of everything. Lastly, her Animation Plan is a big plus. It is an Excel document, but the amount of detail that is covered in the Animation Plan went a long way. It helped us think through our own planning and it also got a lot of positive comments from our other vendors. We would highly recommend Michele. Lauren was our wedding angel. Lauren is one of the most professional people I have ever met--timely, with fantastic communication skills. She tactfully navigated the questions, concerns, and potential conflicts we had and had so many great suggestions for keeping our wedding running smooth. Our wedding turned out wonderfully, in no small part due to Lauren's efforts. The rehearsal ran extremely smoothly, and on my wedding day Lauren and her assistant were there giving us succinct updates and check-ins the entire day. Planimation Events did everything they said they would do, and more. That Lauren had experience coordinating several events at our venue was key. We weren't local to the venue, so our emails, calls, and skype sessions were key! I can't thank Lauren and Planimation Events enough! We cannot say enough great things about Planimation Events, and specifically Lisa! From the first time I reached out to Planimation Events for a price quote, I loved them. I first spoke to Lauren who was so sweet and offered me many vendor suggestions and even helped me with some ideas for venues in the area. We ended up booking Lisa to be our day-of coordinator for our wedding. Even though she was only our coordinator for the day, she went above and beyond throughout our planning process for the many months leading up to the wedding. We live out of town so it was not easy to select/coordinate with vendors but she handled so much of the in between. We even forgot to order part of the linens required but she reached out to the vendor and the venue to solve the problem. She was incredibly professional and organized but also so flexible as issues came up. Our wedding would not have been close to the same without her. Not only is she extremely organized but she has a wonderful cheery personality, which helps everyone stay positive throughout the day. I decided to have a day of planner for my wedding from the beginning. However, as I started searching around, I found that most charged an obscene amount of money and were 'pushy' with their ideas. Then I found Lauren. Her prices are very reasonable and she will execute all of your ideas just as you envisioned them. Also, if you have no preference, just let her know and she'll give you lots of recommendations! She also let me e-mail her any amount of questions before the big day and she did her best to answer them! Being that this was the first and only time I planned a wedding, I had a ton of little questions! Be prepared, the meeting that you have with her about a month before your wedding will be overwhelming. She is very good at finding the things that you haven't done yet, that definitely need doing! But have no fear, on the day of (and the rehearsal), she did absolutely everything! I didn't have to worry about a thing, and I know it's all thanks to Lauren and her assistant Sam! My daughter got married August 10, 2013 and the best thing we did in the 11 short weeks we had to plan the wedding was to hire Lauren Burleson with Planimation Events. She helped us with some of the vendors and decoration ideas. She asked questions I would not have thought to ask to make my daughter's vision for her perfect wedding a reality. She was also our rehearsal and day of coordinator. Okay, so Lauren did it again. I don't know why I'm surprised. I asked her to compile a list of possible event locations across all of central California. She knows what I like, what I hate, what I'm willing to deal with, and my "deal breakers." I hold corporate events ranging from 10 - 200 attendees, so I need a large selection of options. I was thinking Lauren would compile a list of a couple dozen locations. One week later she came back with a list of 120 options! One hundred and twenty. If you hold corporate training or incentive events in central California, and you don't use Planimation Events...then you're wasting money and sacrificing quality. I don't know what I would have done without Lauren! She was better then I could have ever imagined. When I got engaged I knew having a planner there the day of was something that was really important so right away I looked into it. I had found a few that I was in contact with but since I was planning a semi destination wedding I could never find the time to meet with any of them when I was in the area. As it got closer to my wedding date I didn't know if it was going to be something we could afford anymore so I stopped looking. As the day started to approach I realized there is no way I could go without one. Lauren was recommended to me by my cousin who knew someone that was using her the week before my wedding. At this point my wedding was roughly two weeks away. I knew trying to book her this late would be probably impossible but my mom reached out anyways. It turned out she could do it and man am I grateful. My day would not have gone so smoothly and stress free without her. I had less then two weeks to catch her up on everything for my wedding and put together a timeline. She made this process a piece of cake! The week of my wedding I finally got to meet her in person the Wednesday before my big day. We went through everything one by one and she really seemed to understand my vision. On Friday we had the rehearsal and it was so nice being able to have her run that. Before the rehearsal started we walked around the venue so we could discuss where and what I wanted in different areas. I had tons of things I made, bought and rented so I spent a little time showing her everything. I planned to get some of the stuff set up that night after the rehearsal dinner which I did but couldn't do as much as I planned. I was so stressed thinking I left way to much to be done. The next day I made sure to not worry about anything. At this point whatever happens was meant to be. When I got to the venue and got to look at everything I was blown away. Everything ended up coming together in a way I visioned but more then I imagined could have been done. I was shocked at how little time I had to share my vision with her but how she knew exactly what I was wanting. I would recommend Lauren to any bride! She will exceed any expectations you have and really goes about the day so easily. Everyone at my wedding mentioned how amazing she was and how they really liked her. We booked Lauren as our day-of coordinator. When we first met with her, we instantly saw her professionalism and experience in event coordinating. We wanted someone who knew what they were doing and can handle the challenges that may arise during our special day. Lauren helped us with smoothing out our timeline and planning the placement of everything at the venue. Our rehearsal went very well. She was patient as we had a few nieces and nephews in the ceremony processional and recessional. On the day of the wedding, Lauren took care of everything. We couldn't have made a better choice! I searched endlessly to find a "week of" planner so that our wedding party & families could enjoy our wedding week celebrations instead of worrying about when the linens were arriving. We wanted this day to be a fun celebration for them to enjoy as well & Planimation Events made sure that happened. I first contact Michelle over the phone & couldn't believe the great pricing that was with her packages. I can't count how many wedding planners for just the day or week that I contacted through wedding wire, yelp, google, preferred vendor list, etc that the pricing was so out of our budget! When I first spoke with Michelle I felt at ease knowing that I was with the right person. She explained her services, pricing, etc., let me shoot a couple ideas off of her, & she was honest and great. Contract was sent over quickly & my actual planner Melanie got in contact with me soon. Dustin & I are so happy that we had Melanie! She met with us a few times leading up to the wedding, went over our timeline, checked in to see how things were going & always assured us that she was there if we needed her. She was available over the phone, email, or in person. She kept all of my contracts in order for the planning processes & gave me suggestions for different vendors if I needed them. She was fun to be with and I'm so glad we had her. Melanie is funny, organized, has all the questions you wouldn't think of and was so great for us the whole time! She was there for a venue walk through, rehearsal & of course on the wedding day. I requested that my parents be taken care of all night & one of my aunts & she made sure they were completely covered. It made me so happy when I'd look over & see the three of them having a great time & knowing that they didn't have to worry about anything except having fun because Melanie & her amazing assistant had them covered. I got married on October 19, 2013 and had Lauren Burleson with Planimation Events be our day of wedding coordinator. Because I was very particular about my wedding day and everything pretty much planned out, Lauren was going to be my point person on the day of the wedding. From the planning stages to sending emails to all my vendors to coordinating the ceremony rehearsal to day of, Lauren was a true professional throughout the entire event. Lauren is extremely organized and very to the point, which is what you need on the wedding day. When you are dealing with groomsmen that have short attention span, to parents chatting away on the rehearsal day, Lauren is your gal to get everyone to pay attention, learn their duties for the day and getting it done firmly but relayed nicely. =) She can handle any tasks you may not want to handle because you may hurt someone's feelings, etc. I would highly recommend Lauren for any special event and/or wedding. Lauren is amazing! I did not think that I needed a wedding coordinator and I was on a tight budget, so I didn't plan on hiring anyone. Luckily my mom recommended Lauren, and insisted that I at least meet with her, because hiring her turned out to be the best decision I made. Her rates are extremely reasonable, and the service she provides is well worth the expense! Lauren was instrumental in making my wedding so much more than I ever thought it could be. Before the wedding, the most popular advice I received was to expect things to go wrong because "they always do". But the day was absolutely perfect and I have Lauren to thank for that. There were minor issues that came up, but she handled them with grace, making sure that our guests were taken care of and that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves. Before I met with Lauren, I did not know exactly what I wanted but she asked all the right questions to help me figure it out. She didn't just take over and tell me what I should do. She guided me through the process so that I could have the day that I wanted. Michele did a great job at making our day seamless. The animation plan was so helpful to help organize and layout the day and identified so many things I didn't even think of. I've been in so many weddings and there's always "that one thing" that goes wrong, but somehow, we were able to avoid that! Michele with Planimation Events did an amazing job coordinating our wedding. Things ran so smoothly throughout the entire day (+rehearsal) and we could not have pulled it off without her help and expertise. Although she was technically our "day-of coordinator", she was really helpful answering any questions I had about timeline, layouts, and any random thoughts that popped up in my head throughout the entire wedding planning process. Michele helped me to come up with an extremely useful tool, which is called an Animation Plan, to organize wedding logistics. We worked together to complete the plan and it proved to be very useful.
