My 11 year old son has been taking voice lessons with Michelle for over three years now and has been enjoying it immensely! We placed him in voice lessons so that he could accompany himself when he plays the guitar. Since she is familiar with many different instruments, including guitar, she is also able to help him with find the key that fits him best for each new song that he learns. She holds recitals for her students twice a year so that they are able to experience performing in front of a live audience which is great! Michelle is wonderful! My daughter has been taking lessons with her weekly for about three years now. First of all, I was impressed with the time that Michelle took to get to know her, she is really great with students of all ages. Secondly, we started to see the fruits of her labor after the first few lessons when she was already playing a song on her Ukulele. Michelle helped us to pick out the correct instrument, and the needed accessories and was conscientious of the price of those items as well. Third, my daughter kept improving and Michelle also worked with her on vocal which was needed. This past summer, my daughter played for us around the campfire and we received loads of compliments. She also played in her school talent show and I had so many people come up to me asking for Michelle's contact info! I would not hesitate to refer her to anyone! Now, my daughter has decided to graduate to acoustic guitar and just like last time, Michelle was there to help guide me through the equipment purchases and is teaching her so many songs, both current and classics! 1000% happy to be working with Michelle! Started 3 months ago in June with no formal training, just singing in the car and the occasional YouTube voice lesson. I was able to discuss my goals with Michelle, one goal being "I'd like to find MY voice, instead of mimicking other voices." Here is a review of MV Music from my 9 year old: I have been taking weekly piano lessons with Michelle for four and half years and she is very good! She is very positive, so when I get a note wrong she says ways to improve. She also isn't very mean to you when you get a note wrong. When you want to learn a new song she gives you suggestions on what song to play, and she isn't at all bossy. Another thing that I find helpful is that she can teach rock and classical songs. Michelle has helped me with my musical career in so many ways: I started off taking vocal lessons with her where she helped me grasp a more proper technique, particularly in the higher notes for my vocal range.
