John has a wealth of knowledge and understands that no two horses should be trimmed the same. He caters to each horse, and each foot's individual needs. He's done barefoot trims, shoes, rebuilding, corrected founder cases, abscesses, you name it. We have a variety of breeds John works on, Appendix, Quarter Horses, Quarter Ponies, Arabians, Paints, Connemaras, POAs, Appaloosas, Shetlands with a variety of ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. He's patient with the nervous ones and always proactive in setting the horses up for a positive experience. John always keeps his scheduled appointments and is always available for emergencies or if I have a question in between appointments. I can't say enough great things about John and his work. You and your horses won't be disappointed.

Jay and his team are by far the most knowledgeable, professional, kind, and talented. They take excellent care of my horses, and they are kind to them. Jay has enough experience to guide the farrier in shoeing my horses with good outcomes. Jay is an amazing instructor, and my riding has improved significantly since I have been at Windy Meadow. He has taught me things that no other instructor has, specifically how to have soft and effective hands. The barn itself is clean, organized, and well-maintained. I feel like I have found a forever home at Windy Meadow Farm.
