I pick up some food there on Thursday and the price for the food was $16.00, and they charge me $42.80 on my credit card without my knowledge. This is really ridiculous. How can they over charge me for the food that I didn't buy. I Don't recommend this place to eat or purchase anything from there . Not an honest business place. I've had food from here twice and the food is absolutely great. The first time I had jerked chicken and this time I had fried chicken. The Mac and cheese was one of the best I've had and I usually don't eat cabbage, but theirs I would definitely eat anytime. That said, they need to match their customer service to the souls of their food. As I walked in the store the gentleman at the counter greeted me with "did you order? What did you order?". I usually frequent places where they greet the customer and make them feel at home. Here, the interaction was totally transactional. Here's your food and this is what you'll pay type of interaction. As I paid, no thank you or we hope to see you soon. After paying that was the end of the conversation. Another turn-off was that with the covid pandemic most places are asking for payment with card or exact change. Here there are applying a surcharge for card transactions. My recommendation is that your food is already amazing, so it should easy for you to retain customers once their try your food if you appear to want the business. Be a little more interactive and inviting when treating the customer. It's obvious you cook with love since that's the only way to achieve the flavors you offer. Show that love in the customer service too when you answer the phone and when customers come in especially in difficult times like nowadays. Customer experience is everything when it comes to a business' longevity. Maybe next time I go I see more enthusiasm and give you the 5 stars your food deserves! read more

This was my first visit. Small jerk chicken, rice and beans, and yams hit the spot! Quick service!

The restaurant was clean and nicely set up. I ordered a large jerk check and a large curry chicken platter. Both can with two sides so I chose yams, collard greens, cabbage, and rice & peas. I also ordered an extra side of cabbage and macaroni and cheese. I also purchased a homemade ginger beer because my hubby loves it. The macaroni and cheese is loaded with cheese and it has a tang to it, almost as if it's seasoned with something you would find on meat. It was delicious. The cabbage is light and savory. Jerk chicken is delicious. Very flavorful and not as spicy as other places that I have had. Platters are also full.

I don't recommend because Michelle and her husband are very rude and attitude is horrible. Then a lot of times they are out of things so if you don't like the meat they have they will not let you buy any sides and the side are on the menu to buy. So I don't like their bs read more

My husband and I were in Vineland for his niece's wedding and being my very particular self I searched for a five-star establishment to dine at. Well I read the reviews for Michelle's and was interested to check it out. I must say that the reviews were very accurate. Not only was Michelle courteous and patient with me...as I just couldn't decide from all of the deliciousness....but she was actually the owner with an immaculate place of business. Ambiance was truly positive. So I finally decided on the fried whiting with the mac and the cabbage sides. I must tell you my taste buds were on a thousand after each bite.
