After talking to a few trainers I found Fit Forever and have to say this has been the best and most diverse personal training experience I've ever had. The things I like most are: - Dawn uses a variety of workout methods including the TRX band system, exercise, ball, free weights, and other. The TRX and exercise ball work hundreds of muscles that I didn't even know I had! - Dawn seems to have a sixth sense of what I can and can't handle -- even the first time she worked with me -- and remembers where I left off last time. - She's very careful that I don't use the wrong form so I avoid injury. I find it interesting that she works with people of all ages (I'm in low-50's) including folks in their 80's so this gives me comfort. Oh boy. Where to even begin??…read more I started coming to CF Novi almost 5 months ago and have been completely and utterly blown away by the impact this gym has had on my health and well-being. I had no prior athletic experience when I started coming to CrossFit Novi and when I would go to the gym I wouldn't stray further than the treadmill. The coaches here made me feel 100% comfortable and at home immediatly. They spent a TON of time, care, and attention teaching me the basics and have been great about scaling/customizing the workouts to my level. I cannot stress enough just how great these coaches are. With their help so far I've lost 30 pounds and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, strength, & new skills (hoorayyyy wall kick ups and double-unders ). The facility does make any consideration for cancelation on medical grounds. They continue to charge with a month membership when the member decides to cancel and even when the member has not used their services. They are very nice and kind as long as you are a member but make it very difficult when you want to cancel especially like in my case, when there is a suddden medical emergency. I liked their classes and hoped to come back after my recovery but the experience when I decided to leave, will not make me come back at this location again! - Inara

The best thing about this gym is that everyone here is so nice and supportive. It doesn't matter if you're lifting 10 lbs or 800 lbs. No one cares. Music is playing and everyone is there to work out and lend a hand to anyone. The owner is a former pro lifter and is also incredibly helpful and nice. It's also super quick and easy to sign up and they offer 24-hour access which I love.
