I waited five hours on hold only to be told you have to be 72hrs to travel to renew! The post office was a horrible experience at Detroit Main. The woman jerked me around for 45min, Took 2 photos which in end game were not clear enough pixel. The post office told me to mail renewal in. They do not handle renewals. My sister recommended International Express when she used several years ago. She received passport in three days for company travel. I phoned, got next day appointment which was July 20, 2021. The gal at desk was beautiful, kind, quickly handled my stress! I explained my experience. She took another photo in which looked like normal me, not the worst you could show! She told me to expect passport around Labor Day! Today August 18, 2021 I received my new passport priority express! Thank you for such a terrific experience! I am writing this to highly recommend the fee is worth the service! Professional, quick, no stress! See you next time go see Tracy Lezotte! I normally select direct deposit and have the preparer fees taken from my refund, which I will never do again. Unfortunately this year, things have changed. I did not get my refund as expected. I submitted a check trace with the IRS and an investigation with Green Dot bank. Green Dot provided me with the information that my checks were already cashed. Which was news to me since I always select DD. They have also provided me with copies of the checks, complete with a signature that is very obviously not mine. Now maybe it was stolen from the mail and I wanted to give Mr. Williams benefit of the doubt. However, when I asked if he could find out what happened- he went silent after multiple attempts at following up with him. Another suspicious thing is the status in Green Dot shows a status of "Printed by tax preparer" for my refund check. Again I wanted to give him benefit of the doubt, but I think we can all guess what happened there. I am filing charges and hope to get my refund, but it may be awhile. Very stupid on his part, check fraud is a federal crime. Please beware and do not use this company for your tax preparation. Mr. Williams has done this to others, just read the reviews especially on Google.
