If you just need a place to sleep this'll do just fine. PS - The mural of leprechauns in the lobby/breakfast room is a little bit creepy. The staff got the job done but really did not have much training in customer service. It's a walk in, but more importantly the shower head is actually up high, so us tall people can actually shower comfortably. The only slight negative is the soap dispenser in the shower barely work. I joked the choice was due to the Texas Roadhouse restaurant across the street. Comfy beds, helpful staff, convenient ish location. The ish, I was just in town for a show at the Casino. I friend warned me to not stay at the casino, you pay for the convenience. So, this hotel is on the opposite side of town. Plus size, Mt. Pleasant really isn't that big so it's a 5-10 minute taxi ride to the venue. Getting a taxi back at 11pm was a bit of a boondoggle, watch for Stargazer yaci- way cheaper than Uber. Lol. Sadly, I left a pair of sunglasses (prescription, boo) and some cute cat earrings on the nightstand. It happens. I imagine that if you were in town for a Football or Swim event, this would be a great place to stay. I could see the CMU stadium and their aquatic center from my window.
