For the first time My son got a hair cut at this barber shop last Sunday November 12, 2023, it was decided to come here due to good reviews. when he got home he was complaining about the blade cuts the barber gave him and that his back of the head was itchy and hurting, mind you his hair got botched and the barber gave him a bald back which he has never got before plus the barber stated my husband told him to give him that hair cut. 2 days later he was still complaining about pain and itchiness so I check on him and he had bumps all over the back of his head and back of his right ear. When Thursday November 17, 2023 comes around I had to go to the urgent care because the pain and itchiness was unstoppable and he was so miserable. The doctor at the urgent care diagnose him with foliculitis: a bacterial infection of one or more hair follicles due to razor blades for poor sanitization of the blades or affected area. The doctor gave him 3 medications which are two different anabiotics, and one for the itchiness. I went to the barber shop the same night I got out the urgent care and I had a dialogue with the owner Mr. Mickey. He seemed concern about what had happened and he and the barber who did the hair cut were apologetic and explained that they were using a self clean shaver and that he might got infected that way. They assured me that they were going to stop using the self clean shaver because they don't want anybody else with the same problem. The owner offered to pay medical bills which I declined and also a refund which I also declined, a free hair cut and of course I also declined. I had wrote a review back on Thursday November 17, 2023 after I got out the urgent care and after I mentioned this matter to the owner he was more concerned about the bad publicity my review could cause to this barber shop. I told him I was going to remove it once I got home and I did because he was polite and like I said before he was apologetic. But realizing everything why I am going to stay silence. That is why reviews are for, to let other consumer know my bad experience and they may choose whether to go here or not. ****Disclaimer: my bad experience not necessarily will be your bad experience and vise versa.**** The one and only thing that got me good was that he did not ask for a contact information to follow up with me or my husband in regards of my sons health and to day 12/12/23 we haven been reach out by the owner when he has my information because I post a review in google review. They smoke in the shop as well even though there are kids and the owner can denied it like he does when others post about it. I have pictures and videos of when my husband was in with my son. Also I recorded our conversation just in case He tried and denied all we talked. Best barbershop I've been to in so many years. They actually can do perfect fade compared to some other local barbershop I've been to in recent months. Professional, clean and very reasonable priced for all their services. Cut, wash, style, facial hair cut/ groomed, eyebrows trimmed and waxing available if want along with facial mask. Sam was absolutely unbelievable and worked his magic skills after a horrible cut I received last month, getting everything back on track. I will forever be a lifelong and loyal customer now. I brought my 91 year old husband in for a haircut as a walk in. Due to illness a haircut was way overdue and his hair had gotten too long. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming. He received THE BEST haircut I can recall him getting EVER. I'm sorry I don't recall his barber's name but think it began with a "V". We were rather specific on what he wanted and the barber followed our wishes exactly. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it and we will definitely be returning. We initially went to Mickey's because we were looking for a new barber after multiple bad haircuts plus they were open on a Wednesday when most other Barbers were closed. We walked into another barber shop in the same shopping center right before going to Mickey's and although they were nice the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming and a huge turnoff. We both left the shop reeking of cigarette smoke which as non smokers we didn't appreciate. We're very happy to have discovered Mickey's and look forward to making it my husband's new barber shop. read more

I haven't been happy with salon haircuts. I went to a barber as a child and they always seemed to manage my thick spiral curl hair so I decided to seek one out in adulthood. They were amazing with both myself and my four year old daughter. They not only got read of all the dead layers but cut it into an amazing manageable style. They also gave my four year old daughter a super cute summer bob. Don't let the pictures fool you, they give a great women's haircut. We will definitely be going back! read more

Had a barber named Sam cut, wash and style my hair perfectly. He knew what I wanted and did an amazing job doing it. Everyone there was extremely nice. I've been from Houston to Chicago now Cleveland and I feel at home with this barber shop. Even better the price for a hair cut is a great price point where I'll go back more often. A terrible job on my grandson.Shaved his head and left a blob of hair on top that doesn't do anything. Looks ridiculous. Need to take him somewhere else to try to make it look blended. My husband said it looked like everyone got the same haircut. Unfortunately it was to late for my grandson.$20 for a crappy job. Disregarded what my grandson wanted and just did what he wanted. Had to shave it off because he didn't know how to give a haircut. Wish it was possible to give 0 stars. My grandson is very upset. read more

After a horrible cut I received last month from another local barber shop, this place was able to get everything back on track. Cut, wash, style, brow trim, facial hair groomed along with the option of getting things waxed. Honestly one of the best barber's shop I've been to in such a long time.
