Like any location a lot depends on neighbors. Upstairs neighbors extremely noisy. We paid for one parking space and other car would park in guest lot which was allowed but someone didn't like that and would leave notes on car and egg it! Neighbors didn't like us for some reason. Charged us for overflow in dumpster. Quick to fix plumbing issue but key issue we were on our own. Snow removal was good. read more

I live in New York State and my daughter (full-time college student) accepted an internship in Northborough mass. we had to find a safe/clean convenient location in a short amount of time. With the familiarity of the area and limited opportunity to do much searching I was able to contact Micozzi management and rent a one bedroom apartment site unscene. From the first interaction of being willing to share videos and pictures ,to every interaction along the way (having keys, mailed to getting support with figuring out the heating system and cable issues. All of the first time move out that a young adult had to figure out on her own) everybody in the group was cooperative, flexible, highly responsible, and responsive to every question and and need that arose for us and my daughter's first living on her own experience out of state. Whether it was through text or email communication, everyone was efficient quickly, responsive, and always supportive never once did we feel like we were a bother and I was very confident in her short term stay in Northborough mass that she was gonna be able to have any questions and issues resolved immediately if anything would happen to arise. Highly recommend the Micozzi management group; specifically we rented at the Northborough mass location, and if the folks that we dealt with at that location are a tiny representation of the group as a whole couldn't ask for better! I had several break-ins in this unit as well as my automobile in their parking lot on Elm St. Heat was jacked up to very high; you had to use a wrench on the radiator which was not explained to me by the agent who showed me the place. I could go on about maintenance issues. Neighbors not friendly to gays; don't let smiles fool you. Also, might want to avoid Grafton and Millbury. If you do live in any of these places, invest in a high quality deadbolt and keep your spare well hidden. Only trust reputable locksmiths. Don't always trust reviews about locksmiths. It may seem like a contradiction since I am leaving a review. Please don't overlook anything regarding safety, but don't sweat fools. You have a right to live in these towns, just be aware that some people are nuts. read more

TL;DR version: Good place to live if you don't intend to break your lease. I lived in one of Micozzi's properties for 2.5 years. I love my little apartment. The maintenance has always been very prompt and awesome. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is the flimsy entrance door that offers little to no security. Multiple times I've seen people yanking the entrance door open to get in and out (instead of using keys like a normal person). Everything was fine until I had to break my lease 5 months early because I bought a house. I told them in October that I will move out by end of January (so 3-month notice). According to my lease, I'd have to pay "repair/repainting and realtor fees" PLUS the monthly rent until the apartment re-rents. If the apartment doesn't re-rent until my official lease ends, then I don't have to pay the repair fees. They told me they will do their best to find new tenants, but I cannot promote or show my apartments. Everything has to go through Micozzi. Weird but ok. I had to wait until they officially put up a craigslist post for my apartment so I can share it on facebook and not be accused of "promoting my apartment". I've moved out of my apartment for 2 months now and received over 150 messages expressing interest. And guess what, my apartment still hasn't re-rent and I'm still paying rent (on top of mortgage). The leasing office said they haven't found "qualified applicants" and cannot give me a timeline when that would happen. People who messaged me has said that the leasing office doesn't pick up the phone, doesn't respond to emails etc... but oh well, what do I know? I still give it 3 stars because I truly enjoyed the time I lived there (for the most part). I also agreed to the lease so it's what I have to paid for breaking the lease. I just wish they have more compassion and actually try to help me. read more

I lived at Micozzi Management property for 3 years and had the best experience. It was always easy to communicate with them. Whenever I had any problems at my apartment (a broken sink garbage disposer, issues with my lock...) they were fixed hours after I submitted my online requests. I would absolutely stick with them if they had property in New York. read more

First and foremost, this is Worcester. Now, believe me, the city has improved leaps and bounds to years previous. However, its still a city. After reading other reviews, I would point out we don't live in a suburb with cows and farm land. We live in a decent sized city that has its many positives and of course some not so positives. With that, I wanted to live in the heart of Worcester. I wanted a property close to downtown, that was near the commuter rail, close to restaurants and bars via a quick Uber and somewhere that had life. I chose this. I feel many others choose city living for these reasons and then go to complain about ambulances, and the hustle and bustle of city life. Again, its a city. So before complaining, realize why you chose where you lived. I have been fortunate to have lived in many great cities and I would put Worcester in that list. It might not be Los Angeles starwalk, New York busy or Miami vibrant, but its better than many others. I was pleasantly surprised this company doesn't charge crazy fees I saw other landlords and companies charging. Quite frankly I'm not sure what $40 or $75 application fees even go towards? The application was fairly easy and completed from my laptop. I have been here about 15 months and so far so good. I have had to use maintenance a few times but I am able to request via my phone which is a win. Also, the office staff has responded to my questions which is helpful. I forgot to pay my rent once, just being absent minded, and no I didn't get a big eviction notice on my door. I got a phone call from the woman at the office and that was that. I am a believer in what you put into this world is what you get back. If all you do is complain, then I'm sorry, but you probably deserve to get some craziness in your world. All in all my rent is fair price, I get heat and hot water included which I can't complain about and I am allowed a cat and don't have to be some wild pet free. Currently I remain a happy camper. Until otherwise I will rate 4 stars. I don't rate anything perfect, because nothing is, really. PS- If I hear one more thing about a luxury apartment... if you want a luxury apartment, then you have to pay for a luxury apartment. You cant drive a Hyundai and anticipate it to feel like a Bentley when driving. So please, be real. Nothing is free. read more

They refused to add my husband on the lease, just because they don't want to do it. Worst company ever.

The property is subpar: floor squeezing, thin walls & doors and safety concerns. We noticed the noises from the sirens on Elm St, the upstairs' running kids and loud TV, running dirtbikes, and the disorder persons' swear down on the sidewalk over the time. We experienced lost packages various times. There are car break-ins around this location. They installed cameras at the front entrance of the building, but yet caught anyone. Washer/Dryer is way too expensive ($2.75 each, jumped from $2.25). Pros: 1. Maintenance staff is mostly kind. 2. Close to main areas in Worcester. Cons: 1. Close to main areas in Worcester. (Both pro and con) 2. There are disorder persons near this property. There have been several cars being broken into. 3. Although the kind maintenance staff, the office staff is often rude and incompetent. It may take one or two days to get a response from the management. They never gave me a good attitude. 4. The parking lot is never properly plowed in winter. 5. They increase rent at renewal, every year. 6. Heat is not controllable: it's either over 90 (heat on) or below 60 (heat off). You can find a better, and most importantly, a safer place, with lower or the same price in neighborhoods around Worcester. read more

Micozzi Management has not been the kindest to me. They act all nice when it comes to lease renewals then as soon as you sign (for +$30 more a month every year. They will raise the price every year). My family and i moved from Washington state early fall and were seeking a 2 bedroom apartment. I found the ad for Evergreen Manor in Westfield on craigs list that featured a move in special for 2 months free! I was able to schedule a showing right away, and was approved a week later! I worked with Laine from Micozzi via email, and she was outstanding! I feel that Micozzi is very fair, and respectful. Our situation was different than most, as we just moved 3000 miles away from our home, and my husband was inbetween jobs, but we were given a chance. We absolutely love our apartment at Evergreen Manor! It is very clean, and modern, neighbors are quiet and nice. Having free heat and hot water is a huge bonus as well! The only thing we have not gotten used to is the frigid cold new england winter, being pacific northwest natives! I have now lived in 2 Micozzi properties over the course of 4 years. When I requested to leave my 1st apartment 6 months early for a cheaper option they worked with me to find a place that met my needs and did not consider the move to be a break in my lease. I completed the whole process, including the move itself, in less than a week. In the new property, Micozzi has continued to be responsive to the few maintenance requests I have submitted and overall has been very easy to work with. I was a tenant for 21 months. I recently vacated my apartment due to purchasing a home. I contacted Micozzi who told me their policies and we proceeded to work together to re-rent the apartment. Through the efforts of Micozzi, the apartment was re-rented and I am able to vacate the apartment 3 months early. Thank you Micozzi! Granted this might not always work out for everyone but it did for me. Communication was great and each party held up their end of this lease. I would definitely rent from Micozzi again. As per previous reviews, the maintenance requests are always handled immediately. I must also add that the snow removal crew works tirelessly to make sure all stairs, walkways and parking lots are clean and safe. read more

I lived at Residence At The Falls for two years. While I do not agree w/ all Micozzi Managements policies (I.E., not renting month to month after the first year or moving to a larger apt. during term in same building being considered a "lease break") I at least found the staff to be reasonable in their efforts to get things done. All my maintenance submissions were addressed in a timely manner though sometimes not to my ultimate expectations at first attempt. However if you keep communicating, eventually things will get fixed correctly. I had a window in-which the screen did not fit. After several failed tries to repair it the entire window was finally replaced. There seems to be a disconnect between the staff giving approval to put a band-aid on something versus the owner and maintenance guys wanting to do things right the first time......and it is NOT money. (I watched the "been hired out by Micozzi Management for 20 years" guy return four times for different AC parts build and rebuild while he was saying the unit needed to be replaced from the very first visit.) That said at least Micozzi Management is PRESENT. They return calls/e-mails and workers, even sub contracted HVAC guys, actually show up! Most places just ignore issues or make you wait a ridiculous amount of time even for an update. For the most part the Residence At The Falls is clean and well maintained. I lived in the back w/ my own parking space, access to deck and it was super quiet. Any other issues were "individual." There were times I too felt under appreciated as a loyal, paying (on time), CARING tenant. It is difficult to separate that Micozzi Management I-S a business when it comes to something so personal as to where you live. Even though Micozzi Management will not break policies, they do their best to accommodate things pertaining to the property, not the person. Welcome to corporate America. For this I give Micozzi Management four stars. read more

Do not work with a woman named Jean...........she is completely unreliable. She told my daughter that her and her boyfriend had the apartment and that the home owners really liked them then she had personal issues. She made haphazard attempts at reaching my daughter to get a deposit for the apartment, lied about the actual rent, then added a full security deposit when the add clearly said half. The woman is not to be trusted. Too bad the owners have no idea that this woman is not getting their apartment rented due to her life issues. We all have them but to bring them into the professional world is just inexcusable. I believe she is putting the ad in for one thing and telling interested parties quite another. read more

terrible place to live don't take care of their property very very out dated ,never change their carpet never updates the apt.. when you need a repair they do patch work.. you have to take a shower at a certain if you wait around noon you won't have hot water on the weekend or when everyone is home from work.. management really sucks. you can't receive packages they will steal them and it smells like piss in the hallway.. I looked for an apartment for over 2 months and found that real estate people wanted a quick deal without listening to my needs. I work nights and was on my PC and shot off an email about an apartment in Quincy that caught me eye. It was 10:30PM so I was hoping to get a response in the morning, but low and behold I got an email from a Tony at 10:34PM....At first I thought this was an automated response, but it was not. Tony had returned an email and quickly asked me a few simple questions and I responded. We met the next morning and he was amazing. He spoke openly, honestly and even knew the bus routes and times of the buses that were near the apartment building. I was in my new place within a week and Tony met me with the keys on a Sunday morning and went through everything with me. He is a caring and truly a professional realtor who I recommend to anyone who gets tired of the run around from other realtors. I have not had to deal with any staff members yet, but my apartment is great and I got it at a reasonable price. read more

Well being a tenent here for two years, i have decided to purchase a home. I was trying to inform the the Miccozzi Management this and was trying to work with them as i might need a couple months over my lease. They came back with unreasonable lease options only. I explained myself time and time again that i could not commit to 5 or more months. I understand they are running a buisness and need assured income. I would have continued to pay and communicate as i moved forward. Giving the ample time to rent the well maintained unit. I even offered the maintenance crew access while i was a tenant to paint or what ever. Its a shame they would not work with me. I would never recommend doing business with Miccozzi mgt to anyone. They have proven like other big companies that customers are only for profit. They forget we are human, and sadly things dont happen in the time of a lease. I only wanted a little extra time i would have paid for. Instead they said no i should turn in my keys or be dragged to court for not vacating after my lease was up. Well i hope your company is happy treating faithful tenants this way. I would never recommend your facilities to anyone in the future. read more
