My PC was not working so we took it to this place and they broke it even more. They RIPPED APART the cooler for the cpu, which you're not even supposed to do. They broke my 900 dollar 3070ti and they didn't even put it back together. They didn't screw the gpu back in so it was just sagging. After they almost dropped my computer and broke the glass. My boyfriend and I have been sharing a laptop for over a year. He was searching for refurbished desktop...Apple! But the're so expensive..even on apple.com refurbished page. So we searched amazon, ebay and craigslist...either too expensive, sold super fast or a scam! They answered all his questions, upgraded from 4gb ram to 8gb for FREE (no idea what that is), gave us new wireless keyboard and mouse, warranty, iMac 27" i7 = top of the line, AND A GREAT PRICE! So I went to replace the screen on a 2009 MacBook pro. Very nice staff but not the most honest. Said motherboard was fried so monitor can't work. Fine So bought MacBook 2009 from them approx imately 375 and they transferred my ssd hard drive from my old irreparable computer. Came home found out battery was bad and needed to be replaced and that in my old computer they had broken the 1 of the 4 gb ram sticks and the bracket holder. So also had to buy another set of ram sticks. Also charger given was too small luckily my old charger still works. this is my experience rate as you wish would not go again. read more

My Dell Laptop crashed and I was told by a friend that was computer literate that he could fix it by replacing the hard drive but since I had not backed it up that all my data would be lost which was a huge problem for me for business and personal reasons. I did a google search and found Micro Computers---long story short---I took it in after work around 6:30 and Sultan Hamdan helped me and he determined that my hard drive was not destroyed and that he could get my computer back up, running and recover all my data and the many bookmarks. He did everything he said he would and more---helped me back up everything to a device I had but couldn't remember how to do the back up. He even reinstalled my printer for me. The charge was exactly what he said it would be even though I am certain that it took longer to complete than he initially thought. I tried to give him $20 which he would not take from me. He was very patient with me. I will bring my laptop back to Micro Computers sometime before 2020 to upgrade to Windows 10. All the people at Micro Computers were respectful, knowledgeable and patient with me. I trust them completely and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

I wanted to replace the fan of my dell laptop. While I got a good quote but my laptop returned to me with new fan and crushing windows. The staffer told me this usually happens because of unusual move of the laptop and offered to repair for extra 60$. I was totally disappointed so I picked it up. I called to ask if they could fix my laptop fan, which was making a very loud sound. I should also say that when trying to take it out, I took out all for wires with the plastic piece ending in place, so it was a little bit of a disaster, and I actually thought I broke it. The man who answered the phone said I have to come in because it could cost anywhere from ~$30-$80, and they might not have it in stock. When I came in, I was treated very nicely. One of the men tired cleaning it first with an air hose they have at the back entrance. He said since it didn't keep spinning by itself after he flicked it with his hand that means it's broken, although I objected that it's always been that way. Since I wasn't convinced, I asked him to please help me put the wires back in to see if it even still works, which he kindly did in the back room. As I turned it on, waiting for my laptop to heat up so the fan could kick in, another man looked up the price for my laptop's fan. It would've cost me $35 for the fan, which includes labor and isn't too bad of a price, but it'd arrive five days later, which was an issue for me since I needed to work on my laptop ASAP. As it started spinning and making the same load noise, I noticed that slight pressure from my finger made the sound disappear. I thanked them for the help and went home, cleaned it even more with a brush, messed with it a bit, and got it working perfectly again! I read online that fans are supposed to last 50,000 hours, so it was probably just some dust. I don't doubt their sincerity, although their assessment was wrong, and I appreciated the free help and kind service! read more

My iMac recently crashed due to a faulty power spike in one of my USB hub. I've been depressed for the last 2 weeks since this slows down my workflow and puts me way behind my client deadlines. I took it to Micro Center in Madison Hts and it took them 2 days before they could even give me an estimate. I paid $40 for them just to look at it. The service guy at Microcenter said it would cost $800 to replace my motherboard for parts and labor, and wont be able to save any data that I have. So I decided to wait and do a search online on how much it would cost to get it fixed. Needless to say, I found 2 companies that would fix it for half the cost. One of them is an out of state company and the other was a local store in Dearborn. I prefer to support local business so I took my iMac to Micro Computers on Warren Road. The manager Talal was very kind, efficient, and very knowledgeable with Mac's and PC's. In less than 24 hours they were able to fix my iMac for almost half the cost, and were able to save all my data and software. If you need any computer repaired, Mac's or PC's, this is the place to go! I'm glad I went with Micro Computers.
