During that time, it was important to stay out of the sun and keep my skin well-moisturized with Aquaphor. As I applied the Aquaphor, my skin gradually began to peel, the peeling was happening a lot faster on day 3. If you're considering a chemical peel, I recommend planning your schedule around the recovery period and following the aftercare instructions closely, since your skin will be very delicate.
