    Very poor service request handling. Our fire panel has had an error(s) message for months and they…read morenever resolved or cleared the issue. We had also advised that some interior alarms did not announce in several units during an event and asked for them to come up with a solution to repair the issue. Nothing was ever resolved with nor did they provide any follow up response / solution. Also, they're unaware of the password for the panel to even work on it. So their only solution is to replace their panel with a new one. It is not recommend to use this particular location or even the company if this is how they handle a multi unit complex. We have no confidence at all and if zero stars could be given, then that would be their rating.

    1 Star - Extremely Frustrating Experience…read more I've had a very disappointing experience with Bay Alarm. I was only in Suite F during 2025, and never used Suite E. When I moved from Suite E to Suite F, I was told by their representative that my account would be transferred. At no point was I informed that Suite E would remain active. Then in December 2025, I called to cancel my service for Suite F. I was told it was canceled and that I would receive a confirmation email. That confirmation never came at the time. Now I'm being charged again, including for Suite E (which I never used in 2025) and for 2026 service that I never agreed to continue. This makes absolutely no sense: * Why was Suite E never closed when I moved? * Why would I be billed for TWO alarm accounts when I only occupied one space? * Why was my cancellation not properly processed? It feels like a complete breakdown in communication and account management on their end, and now I'm being asked to pay for their mistakes. I've tried resolving this multiple times and keep having to repeat myself with no clear resolution. I was actually planning to use Bay Alarm again for a new location, but after this experience, I've completely lost trust in the company. If this isn't resolved, I will not only refuse payment for incorrect charges but will continue sharing my experience. Be very careful when working with this company -- make sure EVERYTHING is confirmed in writing.

He has the experience, professionalism, and knowledge to be able to troubleshoot ALL the issues that we were having for the last couple weeks and resolved everything within minutes. It can be frustrating when there's a problem and not being able to get to a resolution. But at Bay Alarm, just know if you come across Veasna K.; you will be in good hands and he will have the answers or at least figure out how to get the answers for you.

When I recently tried to upgrade my system, I was given multiple inconsistent quotes from different reps -- none of which they were willing to honor, even after a technician had already visited my home. When I called back to accept one quote, I was told it wouldn't be honored unless **another technician** came out -- despite already having current information on file. I had to follow up multiple times, and never received the courtesy of a return call. It's clear Bay Alarm is no longer the customer-first company I trusted for decades. If you're considering upgrading your system, I strongly recommend looking into other options. I've since switched to a well-established security company with over 150 years in business, a solid track record, and great reviews -- who offered **better pricing, more features, and far superior customer service**. Loyalty means nothing to Bay Alarm anymore -- and that's incredibly disappointing after more than 25 years.

    Cameras are great, nice and clear…read more Cannot give a 5 star due to being put into a 5 year contract, and on thier website it says no contracts as you see in the picture below. Then they won't let you out of the contract by doing the following.... Vivants customer service is horrible. The times I call to ask questions regarding my long 5 year contract and canceling it I get the run around. First person I speak with, didn't know how to tell me what the balance or payments were, took 15 minutes to figure out what I was looking for. Then transfers me to loyalty to talk about canceling, put me on hold for 10 minutes then comes back saying they are really busy and puts me on hold for another 15 minutes. Then it sounded like they were picking up the phone I got hung up on. Now mind you, I have tried to call multiple times, and this happens every time. The Last time it was 60 minutes then got hung up on Now I am starting to think this is there way to make the customer so frustrated that they just say forget it. Who has time to keep doing this over and over again.

When it came time to transfer the equipment, he told us he would only cover the fee if we gave him a referral -- specifically someone he could try to sell to in person. That condition was never mentioned beforehand. We also tipped him $100 during the installation, which would have more than covered the transfer fee itself. On top of that, the original quote he gave us was over $4,000, but we later found out we were able to purchase the same setup for a little over $1,000. Just sharing our experience so others can make an informed decision.
