He's that good?? Yes, he's that good. My daughter had an urgent medical emergency years ago. I credit him for leading the way in saving her life. She also travels to see him. Dr. David Posner MD was highly suggested to me and then I did my own research on his qualifications, reviews on multiple sites, Yelp, Healthgrades, Vitals, Google Reviews, etc. Hence, upon meeting Dr. Posner I was amazed at his kindness, bedside manner, and listening skills! I explained all, and he set me up for a lung challenge test among a few other tests, and low and behold, I NEVER HAD ASTHMA NOR COPD!!! Dr. Posner explained all in detail, took his time with me, and is one of the best medical doctors at Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health and their pulmonary clinic on the 3rd floor of 178 East 85Th Street, New York, NY 10028. I was further treated with professionalism by the front desk staff, which is extremely important, and the clinic is beautiful. Records are requested from the CH office, to an off-site data business, (of their esteemed choosing) manned by remote staffers...without phones. The staffers are incapable of reading a TWICE printed name, and therefore return the record request to the patient.... via mail...without further question. Luckily my post office delivered the rejection notices to me upon my address, not the incorrect names. C'mon people....somebody...somewhere in one of these two facilities must have a little common sense, and the courtesy to do their job. How pathetically commonplace this lack of basic customer service has become. Idiocy at its finest.

My last visit he had me wait for about an hour with not as much as a "sorry", then rushed me out of the door in around 5 mins...told me I had emphysema and I don't...scheduled an average of 2 visits per week...then insisted that I get a chest x-ray and schedule immediate lung surgery when I complained of migraines and suggested it may be because of the medicine he had me on (which I'm no longer taking and doing fine). On the day of our next appointment, he had his receptionist call me and tell me that I needed to go elsewhere. Then tried to charge ME 200 bucks for a "no show". They're still billing me for it (which makes me laugh and fill out a new review every time). I'm glad that he's a petty know-it-all and couldn't handle me having my own opinions about my own health and the decisions concerning it. I'm seeing a reasonable and level headed pulmonologist now. His office is much nicer, he's not condescending jagoff, and I don't get literally harassed by his office daily. Read other reviews, then go elsewhere. You will regret getting caught up in the "pump and dump" if you see Larry Wassner.
