After years of building trust within the community, the company went bankrupt and sold to CenterWell Senior Primary Care, leaving many longtime patients -- especially veterans relying on Tricare as their primary insurance -- feeling abandoned. Veterans who served this country deserved continuity of care and transparency, not sudden disruption and uncertainty. Many patients had established relationships with their doctors for years, only to find themselves scrambling to locate new providers and navigate insurance confusion during an already stressful transition. What makes this even more frustrating is that public statements during the sale process suggested patients would continue to have access to their insurance coverage under the new ownership structure. Yet many patients later experienced uncertainty or loss of access depending on their plan participation and contract negotiations. The bankruptcy itself was tied to massive Medicare billing discrepancies reportedly totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. Unfortunately, it feels like the people who paid the price were the patients -- particularly seniors and veterans who depended on stable healthcare access. Healthcare organizations should prioritize patient care and loyalty during transitions, not leave vulnerable populations feeling discarded. Dr. Zelaya is a nephrologist and an internist and Dr. Karovska (Dr. Ana) is an internist. I see Dr. Ana and my hubby sees Dr. Zelaya. It was hard finding a new doctor when we moved to the area, but this practice is my favorite regular doctor I've ever had. So glad we found them. They have 2 locations - their old one in Leesburg and a brand new office in Wildwood, off of 44. It's easy to make appointments and they're very good about making sure you keep up with annual physicals and preventative care. When you call, a person actually answers the phone, and they're also good about getting pre-authorizations to your pharmacy, etc. I rarely have to chase them down to get things done. They are both patient focused and just wonderful doctors and people. The whole staff is great. If you are looking for a great primary care team or need a knowledgeable nephrologist (Dr. Zelaya) - look no further.

Quality Physicians had the audacity to call me after this to encourage me to change insurance providers. Quality Physicians Group doesn't even offer basic courtesy.

They don't send billing statements just an email saying pay X amount of dollars. they canceled my appointment for not paying what they wanted and tried to charge me a cancellation fee on the appointment they canceled. Be careful, demand a billing statement so you know what you're paying for and go to there portal and print out there billing summery, they post there mistakes.

She truly gets to know her patients and remembers even the smallest details -- something that is incredibly rare in healthcare. One visit really stands out to me. I was in the office only scheduled to see a medical assistant for an injection, not Amanda. She popped her head in just to say hi and immediately noticed I was stressed. She took the time to come in, close the door, sit down, and ask me what was bothering me -- even though I wasn't on her schedule at all. Most providers would never dedicate that kind of time or attention. Amanda is not only an exceptional healthcare provider, but a genuinely kind, giving, and compassionate human being. I am so grateful to have her as my provider and can't recommend her or Ultimate Health DPC highly enough.

I like that they take a conservative approach (he didn't jump to "you need surgery"). He also was willing to sit and answer all my questions. I didn't feel rushed. The front office staff and Xray technician were both nice and my appointment schedule was kept within a reasonable amount of time. Definitely found my "knee" guy. Just FYI - this place specializes in knees and hips, so if you need other orthopedic assistance, you'll have to look elsewhere.
