We called a different company to come assess the issue and they told us we needed to replace the entire door and that it would be upwards of $5,000. We then called this company for a second assessment and they sent someone out the next day. Ryan was super professional and came out to assess the problem. He ended up charging us only to replace the bolts and went above and beyond to tighten up/clean up everything like the springs while only charging us less than $200!! He also said there was no need to replace the whole door and reassured us that it was totally safe. He was fast and thorough and just a very nice guy. I have an OVERHEAD DOOR installed in my Garage and my LEGACY 850 has a 10 year warranty and I…read morebought it NEW in 2020...we are in 2026 so the motor and gear box still have 4 years on the warranty. My door will go halfway up and then it STOPS!! I unhooked the chain and could use JUST 2 fingers to lift the door. So I hook the chain back on and it stops halfway up again. Now I have to help the door up. I called and spoke to CHUCK and told him what was going on. I asked for a new Motor to be sent out and all CHUCK could do was talk about money. He wanted a fee for having someone come out when the part HAS a WARRANTY!! he's say no other part is covered and I would have to buy a NEW motor. I told him I didn't need anything but a new Motor. CHUCK wouldn't listen to me. So new OVERHEAD DOORS won't stand behind the product they built unless you buy something from them. So I'll go to Home Depot and buy a new door opener and when people ask me about OVERHEAD DOORS, I'll tell them how crappy they are. I'm going to GOOGLE NEXT, then Yelp, then Facebook, ECT...You guy's are a CRAP COMPANY to do Business with.

I called them to arrange for garage door maintenance and they sent someone the same day. They send you a text when the technician is on the way and his name. My technician, Blake, arrived right on time. Blake did a very thorough and professional job. My garage door had become noisy so he checked everything and ended up replacing the springs and the rollers. He checked the opener itself and lubricated it. He lubricated the hinges in the door. The result was a very quiet open and close, and I was very happy. This family owned business is one of the best in the Dallas area and deserves support. They do what they say and offer excellent service.

Technician Zachary L. came out right away at no charge to evaluate the space. While we didn't have enough room for a side mount, Zachary immediately came up with a great alternative: raising the center mount as high as possible into the roofline. That gave me an extra 8 inches of clearance in the middle of the garage, which worked out perfectly. Zachary also did a tune-up on the garage door, and it has never been this quiet or smooth. He was courteous, fast, clean, and called right before arriving to let me know he was on his way. To top it off, within 10 minutes of him leaving, their office called to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work. I ran out of time today, but I will definitely be calling them back to do my second door soon. Outstanding veteran-owned company!
