TLDR: they are not Mid Michigan Physical therapy. They are Doctors of Physical therapy. They do not advertise this and I was unaware until I received a bill stating that DPT is not "in network." Mid Michigan is in network for myself, which is who I thought I was receiving care from. Wonderful office and staff. The problem was a month after finishing treatment I received a bill from Doctors of PT billing department. Who are they? Apparently, they merged with Mid Michigan and mid Michigan clinic keeps their name. Issue is that how was I supposed to know that Mid Michigan is now DPT? And that DPT is not in network but mid Michigan is? When you call the Fowlerville number they still answer "mid Michigan physical therapy. How can I help you?" This is so deceiving! Especially for people with insurance that covers Mid Michigan but doesn't cover DPT. I have spoken to them about this and literally no feedback, just "yeah, that's confusing but we still go by Mid-Michigan. I'm sorry your insurance doesn't cover DPT." "Well, how was I supposed to know that you weren't Mid-Michigan anymore? You answer the phone to that name, you advertise that name? Yet you do not bill under that name, nor accept insurance under that name." No response. DPT is going to try and help me out with the bill. When I asked THEM (corporate) they had no idea why they would still be going by Mid Michigan and agreed that it is deceiving. I just hope this review helps anyone in the future to not have to go through the HOURS of time I have spent trying to get to the bottom of this. No one wants a bill for 3x as much as they anticipated paying for PT. read more

Our practice provides Physical Therapy for an extensive number of conditions, while we also provide a no. of specialty programs and services. We however do not provide the following services: Lymphadema Therapy, Massage, Occupational Therapy, Chiropractic services , Aquatic/ Pool Therapy, Hand Therapy provided by a Cert. Hand Therapist. After working in a number of settings for several years, Glenda Maines D.P.T started Mid Michigan Physical Therapy Specialists (Formerly Fowlerville P.T. Specialists) in downtown Fowlerville in 2005. In turn, her husband John Dean PT joined the practice in 2006. Together, they then opened a clinic in Howell in September 2010 and a clinic in Brighton in January 2015, providing 3 convenient locations for patients to receive therapy in Livingston County. Now approximately 10 years after starting their practice (which is one of few independent practices in the county) it is the top choice for many community physicians when referring their patients for therapy as they continue to be impressed by the level of care provided and the positive results that their patients achieve...
