In the beginning, they were great, but…read moreover time, it has become abundantly clear that they are more interested in milking their customers than providing honest care. My trust first started to erode when they pushed me to get an expensive, custom night guard. I later found out from a different specialist that I don't even grind my teeth at night. The final straw came with my recent bill. The actual amount due was 3x the estimated cost they originally provided. They don't bother to check what insurance actually covers before giving out estimates. They filled the exact same tooth at a frequency that insurance completely refuses to cover because it was unnecessary or done poorly the first time. Yet they did not attempt to try to argue with the insurance company about the necessity of the treatment. There is absolutely no warranty or accountability for the dentist's skill, or the customer service here. When they make a massive financial mistake, they offer zero discounts or apologies to make it right. Be prepared to pay the full, bloated bill out of pocket and eventually move on with anger. Save yourself the financial headache and find a dentist who values honesty over profit.

Yet after my first deep cleaning in 2019, I was never offered another one -- not once. No treatment plan. No referral to a periodontist. No options. Just the same story each year: "Probably aging or genetics." Cleanings and exams were rushed. Questions were brushed off. And it became clear over time that this practice, like many in-network offices, is more concerned with what insurance will reimburse than with what patients actually need. I was never even given the option to pay out of pocket for optimal care. When I finally pushed for another deep cleaning in 2025, the dentist said yes -- reluctantly -- but immediately emphasized the cost, said insurance wouldn't cover much, and offered to deep clean just a few teeth. That made no clinical sense considering the condition of my mouth. I later saw a periodontist who confirmed what I had suspected: I should've had full-mouth deep cleanings long ago. I had several deep pockets and many more borderline areas. In their words, it made no sense to numb a patient just to deep clean a few isolated teeth. In my opinion, this dentist negligently let my oral health deteriorate for years. The lack of proactive care, the insurance-first mindset, the bare-minimum approach -- all of it cost me time, money, and gum tissue. I've since moved on to an out-of-network dentist who treats comprehensively, not just what's billable. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you care about your long-term health.

As a new…read morepatient, I had to ask a lot of them as I needed three different in-network referrals regarding treatment for an infection in a root canal and ended up seeing an endodontist and then two oral surgeons before I had my tooth pulled. I had to get a temporary tooth imbedded in an aligner, which Tess handled, and when it was too tight, they got me in immediately to adjust it the day I had my tooth pulled by the oral surgeon. I also had my teeth cleaned and a complete exam by Dr Yeo during this time. Everyone has been very pleasant, patient and accommodating. Danielle was very gentle with cleaning my teeth, and Stacy and the office staff pleasantly dealt with all my requests and questions. Dr Yeo said I all my other teeth were fine, (except for the fractured tooth and infection), and she didn't need to create a treatment plan. Some people feel that dentists create a plan just to get money out of you. This was not my experience. I will need to come back after several months to have my crown installed after my implant is done. Dr Yeo is in network with Dental Care USA and honors their pricing. So far, I am happy with this dental group.

Dr. Lingad is not your typical dentist. I've never been in the waiting room for more than 2 minutes and I've never had to wait for any kind of attention. In fact, you get double the attention because both Dr. Lingad AND Dennis work on your teeth. They are wildly prompt, incredibly thorough, and efficient. Even better, the entire staff is very kind and friendly. You feel taken care of here and that is truly rare.

He was very displeased with how I was treated and how everything turned out with the bill and the attitude of the tablet person. He made it clear that they would be honoring the original quote and followed through with a credit back for the difference. They do still have a front desk person - Sasha - and said the tablet person is only used when Sasha is out of the office/at lunch. Sasha even called me to make this clear, apologize for the negative experience I had, and confirm that the credit is coming. From the front of the office to the exam chairs at the back, the people in the office CARE. Although they are still part of the Total Health system, I will remain a satisfied patient of Dr. Ben.

This last year, they really treated my time as something they could waste on more than one occasion. (The last visit, my treatment was delayed for 20+ minutes as he chatted with an ex-employee who stopped by. Never knew pickleball could be discussed in such detail!) The kicker was that I complained of tooth pain for 3 visits; he just sold me special tooth paste then sent me on my way. Whether true or not, my new dentist was very unhappy with a crown Dr Hoffman installed and blamed that for the state of my tooth. A new crown, root canal, and over $3k later, I am pain free. I don't know if Dr Hoffman could have prevented 2 years of discomfort. Or the cost of repair. But he could have taken my complaint seriously and addressed it.
