Finally found a dentist I can trust! I recently visited this dental office for the first time, and I'm so glad I did! The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. I'm honestly surprised by the low ratings. I can only say great things about this place. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Stacy at the front desk. She was wonderful! Dr. Yeo, the dentist, was amazing, and her assistant did an excellent job with the scanning, exams, and X-rays. They also have an online portal for easy appointment scheduling, making the whole process seamless. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend this office. I have been in and out of their office for assorted reasons over the past several months. As a new patient, I had to ask a lot of them as I needed three different in-network referrals regarding treatment for an infection in a root canal and ended up seeing an endodontist and then two oral surgeons before I had my tooth pulled. I had to get a temporary tooth imbedded in an aligner, which Tess handled, and when it was too tight, they got me in immediately to adjust it the day I had my tooth pulled by the oral surgeon. I also had my teeth cleaned and a complete exam by Dr Yeo during this time. Everyone has been very pleasant, patient and accommodating. Danielle was very gentle with cleaning my teeth, and Stacy and the office staff pleasantly dealt with all my requests and questions. Dr Yeo said I all my other teeth were fine, (except for the fractured tooth and infection), and she didn't need to create a treatment plan. Some people feel that dentists create a plan just to get money out of you. This was not my experience. I will need to come back after several months to have my crown installed after my implant is done. Dr Yeo is in network with Dental Care USA and honors their pricing. I was very apprehensive about going to the dentist today as Medicare assigned me Dr. Yeo. I did not know what to expect. From the time I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming. I had a thorough exam, x-rays and teeth cleaning. I am happy to say that Dr. Yeo is my new dentist. read more

Dr. Yeo is amazing!!!! Her staff handed me a treatment plan with costs totaling 12.3K without Dr. Yeo ever having me open my mouth...... No oral evaluation at all......Really.... And it seems that if you chose to have a procedure performed which is cover by insurance, she requires additional procedures not covered by insurance. read more

Dr. Yeo is nice, but her office staff is incompetent. They failed to advise that only their San Bruno office is within my PPO network and scheduled me for April and October 2024 cleanings. They now realized their San Bruno office was paid by my insurance and advised me to make an appointment in San Bruno. Unfortunately, due to their delay, neither office has appointment for me in December - resulting in me missing a second cleaning for 2024. read more

I have been going to Dr. Yeo for 10 years, so are my parents, and we've always had the best visit. Her staff's amazing, friendly, and professional. They take the extra mile to make sure we leave the office with a smile. Dr. Yeo takes her time in explaining things and making sure we are comfortable enough to proceed to do the treatments. I would warn you that the reviews below sound quite suspicious and does not depict at all who Dr. Yeo and her staff is. I would suggest giving her office a chance and finding out for yourself. I DO NOT recommend this practice because they are dishonest. BE CAREFUL. When they tell you that your teeth need a bunch of work, always get a second opinion. I chose this dentist because it is close to my house and there are not many dentists who accept Delta HMO insurance. If you are a new patient, the first thing they would say is that you need a deep cleaning before they do anything. This is because they can charge you a few hundred dollars upfront. In my subsequent visits, they told me I have many cavities and need two crowns right away. It sounded a little fishy to me. I went to another dentist in Redwood City whom I trust for a second opinion. Both times he said the work were not urgent and some of them were not even necessary. (Unfortunately, this dentist does not accept my insurance). Dr. Yeo is pleasant. I guess she plays the good guy and lets her Office Manager play the bad guy. Her Office Manager is condescending and insulting. She told me on two or three occasions that my insurance does not pay very much money, implying that they don't care nor even want people with my type insurance. They are doing me a favor by seeing me. She treats patients differently based on how much money they can make off you. It amazes me that professional, like dentistry, who is supposed to be taking care of patients, can be so unethical. I stop going to Dr. Yeo this year. I no longer want to be berated nor do I want to support a dishonest practice. read more

Be careful with what they are charging you. The office manager (Stacey) sometimes won't file a claim to the insurance and will just charge out of pocket. She also uses multiple unnecessary codes to maximize insurance reimbursement (especially if you have HMO) which in return increases your copay. I am not sure if Dr. Lourdes is aware of what's going on with billing but I believe she's responsible one way or another since the office staff work under her name. read more

I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient. I told them I was a new patient with new insurance. They said that I had to call my insurance company in order to have them be my primary dentist so they could see me.... ok fine. I call my insurance, they move me no big deal.... call them back to tell them that they are now my primary dentist.... they still can't find me in the system... tell me to call back in a couple of days to schedule me.... call today to schedule and great news!! they have me in the system now..... but can see me soon unless its an emergency.... ok when is your next available appointment... 4 TO 6 MONTHS!!! Why not tell me that the first time I called instead of wasting my time. They should not be saying that they are taking new patients.... I don't think anyone wants to wait 4 TO 6 MONTHS for a dentist appointment... read more

Maria Lourdes is fantastic! She is caring, gentle, thinks out of the box and she and her office offered to me both simple dentistry as well as gum care and crown work. I like the fact she has taken care of all my dental needs! Other dentists I have gone to has generally referred me to someone else for gum work. I think she is wonderful and gladly write this recommendation. She was referred to me by a friend and am glad to be one of her patients. read more

Watch out for this dentist, she is a class A conartist. My treatment plans was $575.00 for coping, what the hell is that, coping with what, coping for stress when the dentist sticks needles into your mouth? $375.00 for Obsidan crown. I can get FREE crowns in my benefit booklet. I NEVER believed any treatment plan she gave me. I just went to an honest dentist and he didn't say I needed any procedures she said I needed. Always stand your ground and say you want procedures only that are covered through your plan. read more

The office manager is very unethical. If you've had to pay out of pocket for any treatment here, check with your insurance and make sure the office filed a claim for the treatment and check that it indeed wasn't covered. I was lied to by the office manager Stacey. She told me my crown wasn't covered, so I paid $1,000 out of pocket. A year later the dentist told me I needed another crown. I was telling a co-worker "I have to pay for another crown" and the coworker told me our insurance should have covered it. This began a whole saga of the insurance company telling me and Stacey that the crown was covered and that the dentist office had never filed a claim for the crown. Stacey repeatedly told me it wasn't covered, yet after my third phone conversation with her and after a second letter from the insurance company telling her it was covered, she put in a claim and Delta Dental ended up paying their office for the work. Even after Delta Dental paid the office for the claim, Stacey still refused to refund my payment. Delta Dental told the office to refund my money. Stacey denied she had received money, and she refused to acknowledge the letters from the insurance company instructing her to pay me. I had to file a grievance through Delta Dental, and Delta Dental ended up paying me and taking it out of future refunds to this dental practice. Even if years have passed, please check your benefits for yourself. Do not believe what this dentist office tells you. They are scammers. If they erroneously billed you, file a grievance so they can be investigated by the insurance company for cheating their patients out of money. read more
