My younger daughter loves to hang out in the play area and color the printed color sheets. We also check out books weekly to read at bed time. It's always something for her to look forward to. For my older daughter, they always have the curtain books she looking for, wether it be for fun, or school related. Also, there selection of PG dvds is so great! They have so many news ones, they even offer movies that are currently in REDBOX still! They also have all your older classics. It's great for family movie night. There are two children's computers pre loaded with children games they are great for my pre schooler. They also offer free story time during the week, for different ages. Lebanon's Public Library is the perfect mix of old 1800s style and new tech. The building itself is an antique, and has been kept up very well. The new parking lot they put in helps the flow of traffic and is much appreciated. They physical location is a bit small inside, so there's a chance your physical copy may not be on hand. They do a great reading program for kids as well.

The DML Miamisburg Branch is a quiet little library somewhat off the beaten path. Group spaces include two quads with space for up to 4 people, two group rooms for up to 8 people, one conference room for up to 10 people and a community room for up to 45 people. They also have a quiet reading room with two 4-person tables and several reading chairs. My first time visiting I had trouble finding where to park, as there is not a lot attached to the building. The Miamisburg Board of Education building is directly north of the library and has some parking on its' south end, but I wasn't sure if library patrons were allowed to park there. I drove around the block and ended up parking in a street spot on 6th St. Once inside, I learned the lot used for the library is actually across 6th St, just northeast of the library. Although, signs for this would have been helpful. Overall though, another great DML branch!

The thing I don't like is they rarely offer programs for older teens at the Miamisburg branch. I'd love to see a poll out for our Miamisburg community each season to see what works around school and sports. I also find that a lot of the cool library programs are ran at libraries in the north vs anywhere close to home. It seems like the library staff doesn't really want to host events for families in their area.

Naturally, we headed over to check it out when we saw it was open. The building is both very impressive architecturally, as well as a really great library. The kids section is so neat, with a lot of fun little touches all around the inviting space, such as play areas, school supplies, and more.
