I did not have to wait that long for my appointment. It was probably about 10 minutes and then I was called back to one of the exam rooms. Jessica introduced herself to me and was very nice. She completed a bunch of tests and then we went back to another room and ran other test on another machine. She did have to dilate my eyes so they could make sure of my measurements on one machine. After recording all the needed data, Dr. Wynn came to greet and discuss next steps. He did inform me I needed cataract surgery to correct my long distance vision. He gave me other details about the lens and the surgery itself. I felt very comfortable talking to him about the surgery and all the information he was sharing. Karen helped me with my appointment date and explain the procedure to me and all the ins and outs. She also gave me a folder of information to read at my leisure. I was given the option to get the eye drops from the office and she asked if I had any other questions about the surgery. I appreciate the professionalism and how nice everyone was to me at the office during my appointment. I am looking forward to having the surgery and I trust Dr. Wynn will do an excellent job.

The wait took about an hour for us to see the doc for maybe 5 mins. Which is pretty crazy to me…read more I didn't like the set up of this place. The patient rooms were surrounding the waiting area and people calling your name and you have no idea where they are. That is such a poor design. Staff was meh. The doc salar rafieetary knows what he was doing for sure. He was fast and efficient with nicu babies. But expected more of him since we waiting so long. Idk it was kind of a mixed experience for me.

The receptionist assured me to just come on in and they'll have everything taken care of. It took them two weeks before they would see us, because we had to contact our old doctor to send over paperwork to the office, AND they took their sweet time to "review" what we told them before we could meet with them. Additionally, we had to pay $250 just to see someone. On the day of the appointment, they balked at us seeing the doctor for about a little over two hours. They shoved tons of paperwork into my wife's hands WHILE SHE COULD NOT SEE! I ended up filling out the paperwork - which most of it seemed absolutely unnecessary. When we finally met with the doctor, we front-loaded with answers that most doctors would ask of my wife. He acted as if he totally forgot everything we said as he not only proceeded to ask the same questions that we already gave answers to (again, it our first rodeo), but then he passively scolded my wife about how she was managing her eyesight. He had the bedside manner (as well as the front office personnel) of someone who has had a bad day at work every day for 20 years. Zero compassion, whatsoever. If you find another retina place within an hour of Jackson, I strongly urge you to GO THERE. Avoid this place like the IRS on tax day!

Dr. Sunny is very good and knowledgeable. He is always in a rush because he has many patients to…read moretreat. If you have any questions he always takes the time to answer. The only negative is the appointment takes alot of time, the office is so busy. There are only 2 retina specialists in the area and they work at different locations part of the week. Best compliment I can think of to give is I trust them wholeheartedly with my vision! Oh yeah... do not wear any eye makeup!!

I had cataract surgery in both eyes with Toric lenses to correct for astigmatism. ($1499 PER EYE UP…read moreFRONT.) One eye is fine. The other eye will never be right. Dr. David Underwood told me, from his lips to his god's ears, "we put the wrong lens in your eye". His words, not mine. He then recommended a second surgery which damaged my cornea. (Persistent and irreversible swelling.) I understand that there is some risk involved with every surgery. But "oops, I screwed up" should never be one of them. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values their vision.
