The vehicle was in horrible condition but we were kept so long that we were unable to see the issues because it was so dark. And when I say long, I mean we were there from 5 PM until 1:30 AM in the morning. The vehicle had four bald tires that were showing wires. The check engine light came on immediately after driving it home. It had an exhaust leak that sounded like the car was a motorcycle. And a whole list of other issues. He does not communicate, he never registered the vehicle and I drove around with an expired temp tag for months. He saw us coming. I was in a predicament where I needed a vehicle ASAP and I needed a large SUV because of my families size. My credit wasn't the best but an interest rate of 24% IS JUST ridiculous. He tacked on a charge of three grand for an extended warranty that he insisted the finance company required. I was charged double for DMV fees on my contract. And to top it off he awfully repossessed a vehicle after following me and my family for weeks. I could go on and on but the moral of the story is DO NOT buy a vehicle from Robert or Sam at Sports And Imports. Imports.

They did replace the damaged part of the side view mirror - but it was with a color that didn't match. Paid later to fix this. Found out I would have saved probably $200 if it had been done correctly to begin with. On the recall, they supposedly ordered the part but for over a month they did not contact me and did not return multiple calls. Finally went in person and was told there was an internal miscommunication and the part was never ordered. Indicated there was no need for me to leave it for them to now fix because it would be weeks. Went to Victory Subaru in Somerset and they took care of the recall within 2 days and communicated the entire time.

The guy is a bottom feeder. When my son got there, the issues started immediately. First, the listing photos were clearly taken at angles that hid major cosmetic damage. There were extreme scratches down one side of the car, a dent on the roof, and another scrape on the back that were not clearly shown in the pictures at all. Then my son got into the car and a warning light came on saying the power steering system had failed. The seller himself couldn't even reverse the car out of the parking spot. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he had my sons follow him on the highway to another garage just to diagnose the issue, only to then say it would take two hours or more to fix the problem. After they drove all that way and took time off work, he still wouldn't budge on the price or make any effort to accommodate them. No accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for other people's time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this guy.
