Brought my Subaru in to fix a damaged side view mirror and for a recall we received from Subaru regarding the passenger air bag sensor. They did replace the damaged part of the side view mirror - but it was with a color that didn't match. Paid later to fix this. Found out I would have saved probably $200 if it had been done correctly to begin with. On the recall, they supposedly ordered the part but for over a month they did not contact me and did not return multiple calls. Finally went in person and was told there was an internal miscommunication and the part was never ordered. Indicated there was no need for me to leave it for them to now fix because it would be weeks. My last lease ended and although I had problems with getting the previous car registered and against my better judgement, I leased a new car from Ciocca Kia. The temporary registration has now expired and again I cannot get the car registration and plates from the dealership. Everything that's wrong with car dealers. Negotiated and agreed on a price for a used Kia Seltos over email with Constantine on a Saturday night right before they closed. We set an appointment Monday at 6:00 which was confirmed during the day. . I show up at 5:30 and somebody is in the process of buying the car that we were negotiating. They didn't have the decency to wait for me to show up for the appointment. They didn't seem to feel bad about it either. Would never do business with someone I don't trust. read more

As the ratings turn, the saga continues. Tried to schedule another recall on my Kia via the website. Found a Saturday in mid-March that worked for me and set it up online. Got a call today informing me that they can't schedule recall work on Saturdays or Mondays because, "we like to keep those days free for oil changes and whatnot because they're more profitable." They seemed genuinely flummoxed by the fact that I need my car to get to work and can't just take a day off during the week for a recall. I can't recommend a business that puts limits on when and how they'll complete recalls on the brand they represent in an effort to pad their own pockets. A second chance wasted. I have been a long-term client since it was Coleman KIA. Frankie B. is my salesperson. While he remains very high on my list; I must admit that I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the finance associates. I am NOT at all the "wide-eyed" "impulse" shopper that Yasir had thought I was. In determining if I were able to end my present lease and either finance my present vehicle; or lease a new one, I presented him with the FICO scores and reports I had just gathered PLUS explanations of my credit, and signed the form to conduct only ONE "pull" on my credit. I told him to SPECIFICALLY upload my paperwork to KIA FINANCE AMERICA, first. My cellphone then beeps to announce that I had email messages. There were SIX separate credit inquiries! Moreover, I knew that Yasir did NOT upload the supporting documentation. Just as aside, my first career was in consumer banking. And, keep in mind that EACH "hard pull" on one's credit will LOWER the score from 5 to 8 points! In the period of just 15 minutes, Yasir managed to lower all my credit scores an average of 44 points; thus negating any "reasonable" lease offer! I feel very sorry that in the end, Frankie lost my close to 18-year relationship because of Yasir's actions. Needed a new electric key fob since my fob was slowly not working. Due to aging battery and some moisture they said may be the problems. They kindly changed the battery for 11 bucks and dried the inside and it works better now. If I needed a new one it would cost 200 dollars! For an old van I declined that option for now. I went to Ciocca to inquire about the cost of a new tire. The service person explained how I could get a new tire at a good price. He was very honest because he wasn't trying to con me in any way. I bought my Kia Sportage from Sid Harvey Kia, in Ewing, last February and was very pleased with the dealership. However, the dealership was bought out by Ciocca by the time that I went for my first oil change in June. I was informed at that time that I was only entitled to one more free oil change and not free for a year as promised when I bought the car. Now I tried to schedule my second oil change and was told that I am not in their system and the earliest appointment would be October 10th. Today is September 20th. I was not pleased with the service personnel at my first oil change so I told them to forget it and that I would go to my local guy which I was able to get an appointment right away. I think that when a dealership is bought out the new owners should honor the agreement that was made when the car was purchased. Finally, they caved and gave my friend a "deal", which wasn't a deal at all compared to the national Kia offer. We left with the intent of my friend calling the next day to confirm. She got a call from them first that they sold the car, and she could pick a different one. When she expressed that she was a bit upset about this, she was told "Well, you didn't put down a deposit". Really happy with Coleman Kia and Mike Bolden, the salesperson who sold my my car. I didn't know I wanted a Kia until I rented one, and really enjoyed driving it. Then I started looking at prices and reviews, and I couldn't believe how economical Kia cars are. I'd been doing research on edmunds.com, because I really wanted a pre-owned certified vehicle. No more new cars for me..I'd rather let someone else take the big depreciation hit of the first year of owning a new vehicle. I found a sweet deal on edmunds for a car--the great thing about edmunds is you get a certificate guaranteeing that price, plus they send you a $200 gas card. It also made the buying process easier--you just walk in, and the dealership has to honor that price. Coleman was really easy to deal with, and Mike was great. When I told him I had a rental car that needed to be returned, he offered to return it for me. When I got home, I realized the car only had half a tank of gas, and I had been required to return it with a full tank, so I contacted Mike and he said, no worries, he'd return it with a full tank. So I was able to take my Kia home that night. The car was totally clean, for being a used vehicle. I could find barely a scratch on it, and the interior was pristine. I've been driving it for almost 2 weeks now, and I love it. I think I am even happier with this car than I was with the Honda Civic hybrid I used to own. It's comfortable, gets great gas mileage, has great visibility, is quiet...and it has neat features like bluetooth compatibility. I have friends who've driven their Kia til they hit 200k, so I'm hoping I will, too. Oh, and the warranty is amazing! I went ahead and got bumper-to-bumper for 100k miles, so I'm very well covered. I even have roadside assistance. The only bad thing about buying the car was how long it took, but it was right around Thanksgiving, and they were swamped with people buying cars to get black Friday deals. read more

Scott Harvey Kia is full of crap. I was going to buy my 2022 Kia Telluride from them initially. We are a military family who has gone from state to state country to country, I know how registering a car works and that I do not have to register my car in the state I purchased it from if its NOT my domicile. Nonetheless the dealer here insisted there was no way around it and not only that they tried to low ball me on my trade in which was a 2016 Jeep Cherokee UNDER 30k miles. Cool fast forward, I purchased my car from a dealer in NH with a markup but not one as ridiculous as the one from Scott Harvey. Same model and trim but better features and I pay less from the dealer in NH than I would with the dealer in NJ. Due to being stationed here and my job location, I brought my two month old telluride in for a NAVIGATION update as the vehicle indicated an update had to take place. Scott Harvey dealers had my car for 5 hours and said they made the update. I used the navigation a day or two later and got the same notification on my car that it needed to be updated, odd they said they did it. I called the service department again, they had me bring it in the following Monday. I told them again what I needed done and they said okay. They had my car from 830 to 330. They called me and said we drove your car and don't see any issue with the navigation. First of all why did you drive it around if I told you it needed an update. That does not require you to drive my car. Secondly if you hit the navigation button you will see the notification pop up. "OHHHH yeah we can't do it, Kia requires you to do that on your own". So you guys couldn't tell me that the FIRST time I brought it in. Alright, now at this point I'm over this dealership completely. I get my car take it home, and notice that my bracket that holds my license plate says Scott Harvey Kia Ewing, NJ. I'm scratching my head like what a hot damn minute, I know for damn sure that's not what I had up there, I put my bracket up myself and it said QUIRK KIA in Manchester because that's where I purchased my vehicle. I called today and that lady at the front desk proceeds to tell me that the Owner, Scott Harvey, requires the service workers to switch the brackets to the Scott Harvey brackets. HOW DARE YALL AND WHO THE HELL DO YALL THINK YALL ARE? What kind of business practice is that? No one got my permission to switch anything and that is false advertisement. This company has been nothing but a headache and I told them when I brought it in to be updated the first time that I did NOT purchase my car through them and why so how dare you. So now I am in the process of trying to get my bracket back as they didn't even have the decency to return it or place it in my car. I will not be bringing my car to them again for anything. So, we just sealed the deal for a pre-certified Kia sorento!!! And I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. We originally arrived with intentions to buy a kia Sorento we saw online , but when we arrived we discovered that the particular suv we were interested in only had two rows...we needed one with 3 rows. Scott was helpful and found us exactly what we were looking for on the lot. It was a couple of thousand dollars more expensive than what we were expecting to pay, but he was able to negotiate a price that we found acceptable... in fact Scott matched our price that we found at another competitor's dealership. How could we refuse?! Also, Scott realized we were commuting from Newark N.J. so he offered to fill our New Car up with Gas, I thought this was extremely courteous of him! He also provided us cold beverages on what just happened to be the hottest day of the year thus far. Within 3 hours, we were the new owners of a reliable certified pre-owned vehicle! They washed it up, detailed the car, filled it up with gas and Scott even programmed our phones for the blue tooth compatibility feature. They also have a waiting room which was nice for me and the kids to wait in while the hubby took care of business. Nice tv and a play area for kids. I think it's also worth mentioning that Nancy was extremely helpful over the phone, I wanted to make sure that the price I saw on the internet would be honored before I made the long commute, and she assured me that it would be unless the car was sold before I arrived, she told me it had happened before and if it did she would call me while in transit. I must admit that I was a little hesitant because I thought it sounded a little fishy...but I guess vehicles sale quickly if they are priced reasonably. I purchased a Kia Sorrento from Coleman Kia in 2014. In December I took the car for an oil change. The told me I needed new rear brakes. Paid for the brakes. Took the car back in March for oil change and to check front brakes. Replaced front brakes and told me that my rear brakes/Calipers needed replacing. Every time I take my car there is an additional item/upcharge. The rear brakes were replaced 3 months earlier. Picked up car and reverse camera did not work. Had to take car back twice for them to fix the camera that they broke. Took car back early on a Saturday for the camera. NO PHONE CALL to let me know my car was ready. Monday I called to find out that it was ready. Worst service in 38 years of car ownership. read more

Not happy with these clowns in the slightest, bought here, all the while second guessing my gut instinct to cut and run, should have listened to my gut, I felt dirty after buying from them, "used car salesman" experience when purchasing a brand new 30K sport ute, Purchasing process took forever, made promises they wouldn't keep post sale and to top it off they lost stuff out of my trade in PLUS to be honest, the finance guy would appear to be much better suited to loansharking in a smoke filled dingy bar IMO. Don't get me wrong, We have been very pleased with our 2013 Kia Sorento, that is until we had a problem with it not responding to gas pedal inputs. The Sorento has now left my wife in a bad traffic situation twice for the identical problem within the same week. "It's fixed" Coleman's service advisor proclaimed proudly (software flash) its ready to go! The second time (within 5 days), not so proudly this time, some spray cleaner on the throttle body is what KIA Technical said to do and keep our fingers crossed, Mind you this is virtually a brand new car guys, a year old, with less than 12k on the clock. Frankly, I have no confidence in their mechanical knowledge, ability to diagnose, repair or follow up, eg: like the return call and voice mail Eric the service advisor left for me that doesn't show a record of being placed anywhere on any of my phones at all. Shady under currents a foot here at Coleman KIA folks, do yourself a favor, avoid the BS, non professionalism and headaches. Buy from someplace else. On KIA in general (Sorento specific to us)? Great product, great driving experience. the fit , finish and quality of interior and exterior materials A++, but I'm very nervous about the electronics in them now, Throttle electronics should NEVER! I bought a car on 8/23/19 and since then my car has had nothing but issues. I have had my new car serviced here twice since I purchased it and they keep telling me that they fixed the problem only to find out that they have not. Now my temp tag has expired as of 9/21/19 and they refused to update my temp tag because they have not received the title as of yet so I have to ride around with an expired temp. tag. I have made several phone calls to them only for them to be ignored and as of 10/8/19 John informed me that my car was fixed and that he would not be resolving my temp tag issue until they received the title for my trade in. I asked John to return my old car or get me a new one and he said he will not because I bought this one. I told him that they are giving me "shitty" service and that this was unacceptable and not right and that I would be calling someone about this only to be told a few moments after I made this comment by another guy "not to come back". I have had my other car serviced at this place for years and never have been treated so poorly. Now that I have a serious issue with a new car that I have recently purchased here they don't want to deal with me has been a horrible experience. They have neither fixed my car for the existing problem nor have they repaired the scratches on the car that was initially promised by Mina. I do not intend on letting them get away with treating me in such a disrespectful manner. I believe they have sold me a "Lemon" and want me to deal with my purchase as is because before I got home my car was having the same issue that they said they fixed twice already. read more

The sales guy was very pleasant and knew what he was talking about, and really wanted me to get into a car (in a non-pushy way like most sales guys want you to). No complaints about him, he was great. The issue I had was with the finance person. I was originally told a very manageable price to lease a brand new Kia, no problem. I was on board, excited, ready to sign. All of a sudden, something "didn't calculate right", and I was told a much higher price that was way too much for me to afford. No wiggle room at all. Funny how that worked, after I had signed some paperwork and authorized them to pull credit. Then when I left in a huff, they were able to work out a deal and called me back when I was on my way home that was a little higher than what i was originally told, and they wanted more down. I said absolutely not, told them never to contact me again. The finance person was very rude and talked down to me, which I did not appreciate. Be very careful when dealing with financing through them. I would suggest a pre-approval elsewhere first where you can get a much lower rate and a manageable payment if you decide to buy through Coleman. Not happy! read more
