I have visited total of 3 different Kia dealers ... and Coleman Kia was the 3rd. I called Coleman dealership and spoke with Mr. Todd Garry (sales executive). He was more than happy to answer few preliminary questions about the availability of several Kia Rio cars advertized OnLine. I paid Coleman Kia dealership a visit on Saturday 12/23/17 and was greeted by Mr. Todd Garry. He answered all my questions, explained the functions of most (and maybe even all) the gadgets and features on two Kia Rios that I was interested in and arranged for me to have test drives on both cars. Unfortunately, during that first visit, we could not agree on a price in combination of trading in my old car and the price of the new one that I was very interested in buying. I left the dealership, parting ways with Todd Garry after exchanging warm wishes for the holidays and New Year with each other. As I was leaving, Todd mentioned that he was going to talk with his manager (Mr. Jerry Schiavo) and see if they can work out a better offer and get in touch with me again in couple of days.
Couple of days later, I got a surprise call from Mr. Jerry Schiavo (Sales Manager) and he gave me a short/summary of an offer (both for trade in my old car and the price of the new car) ... and offer that I simply could not have refused. Few hours later, I received a follow up call from Todd Garry (the sales executive) confirming the offer and expressing his hope that I revisit the dealership and the serious possibilities of commencing the deal.
I revisited Coleman Kia on Thursday 12/28/2017 and (again) was greeted by Todd Garry ... genuinely sincere warm greeting that you could only expect and experience from a long time friend! At any rate ... he personally drove the specific car I intended to buy and parked it in front of the office. I asked for one more test drive (which he happily and gladly accommodated for that). Again, answered all my questions about the gadgets and features of the new car ... sat with me in my old car, and helped direct me to where I need to park my old car (that I was going to trade it in) ... helped me by personally carrying some of the personal belongings that I still had in my old car back and gave me the choice of taking them back to the office or even put them in the trunk of the potential new car if I wanted to.
We went back to his office, and after gathering few documents he escorted me to the office of the Business Finance Manager (Mr. Eric Rosenow). Eric is a fine young man who managed to make the tedious, mundane and at times stressful process of reviewing and signing all the legal documents and loan papers smooth, seamless and almost fun. We actually managed to engage in light banter and humor while I was asking some questions and/or signing all the required documents.
After finishing signing all the legal and loan documents, walked back to Todd Garry's desk where he again devoted his absolute attention and devotion to help make my experience stellar. He personally removed the license plates from my old car and handed it to me in a big envelope, he fastened my new temporary license plate on the new car ... he handed to me all the documents that come along with buying a new car, including warranty papers, user's manual, list of contact and numbers He offered to (and indeed did) call my auto insurance agency to help provide all the necessary info in transferring my insurance policy from the old car to the new one.
Some dealerships (and their sales staff) will sound professional, courteous and friendly, but won't have wide options, big selections or great deals to offer. Some other dealerships (and their staff) may have big selections and good deals, but their management/staff may not be courteous, friendly, respectful, patient, accommodating or genuinely sincere in their interactions with the customer. Coleman Kia has the best/perfect combination of wide options, good selections, great offers ... as well as professional, courteous, friendly, kind and genuinely sincere management and staff in their dealings with customers. They exhibited all these winning qualities throughout my experience dealing with them.
All in all, the whole process of dealing with and buying a new car from Coleman Kia has been stress-free and smooth ... and the experience has been great (and that is an understatement). Not only did I buy a new car ... it almost feels like I gained 3 new friends.
If you are thinking of buying a new car, I hope you include Kia as one of your choices. If you consider buying a Kia, I hope you give Coleman Kia the first chance of serving you and meeting your needs. If you in fact choose Coleman Kia, make sure you contact, ask for or reach out to Todd Garry ... you will save a lot of time, money and avoid the customary aggravation and stress that comes along with the experience of buying a new car.
