For those of you commenting about the staff from years ago. I used to work there back in the day and totally agree. We had a good team back in the early 2000s. I am now his patient and agree that the staff is definitely not what it used to be! I've tried getting in to see him and they just tell me to go to the emergency room SMH! To start, I have not gone with my husband, but he won't be returning. First appointment Kruger was yelling at one of his staff about being late while my husband was in the room while getting testing done. Then this last time, Treated terrible by the NP. She wouldn't tell him exactly why they were considering surgery. All she kept going on about was assuming why he had certain medication. Now he has an appointment for heart surgery he can't cancel. $150 dollars we can't afford. Husband has a second doctor on board and he will be reviewing this with them. We are not comfortable with this decision especially coming from the NP who has no clue and not the doctor himself. read more

Wait an hour just to get insurance verified. And being very familiar with the medical field never heard that long. The older repstionist was not friendly at all she gets bothered if she has to repet herself. Got into a room after 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting. EKG is done within 10 minutes. After waiting another hour, I had to ask staff when Dr. Was coming was told should be in shortly explained been waiting now over 2 hours Dr. Finally came in for 2 minutes, didn't even introduce himself or even say the patients name, and was told to go ahead and schedule another appointment for another day. I'm very disappointed with this place. read more

I arrived for my appointment, only to learn that they rescheduled it. They claimed to have called and were unable to leave a message. They claimed to have called two more time without success. I haven't been experiencing any problems with my phone, so I have no explanation. I did receive a text a week before my appointment, to remind me of the appointment. They told me that those reminder texts are set automatically when the appointment is first set. They definitely need to improve their communication with their patients. If they couldn't reach me by phone, they should have tried contacting me by text or email. They also need to have the automated reminder texts to be changed when the appointment is changed. Also, there were several other patients there for their appointments. Why was mine rescheduled? Are those other patients more important to the doctor that I am? read more

Appointment at 1:30 for echo then waiting to see MD who we never see. Just PA's. It is now 3:21 and waiting. Unbelievably inconsiderate of our time. Also they allow people in waiting room to make and answer their phones so that EVERYONE in waiting room can hear their conversations. Feels like I'm at Walmart and not in a professional office. If they had zero stars then I would give zero stars for office wait time and scheduling. PA's are good. No issue there read more

This review is strictly for the wait times, as the care has been average to other specialty offices in the area. The wait time for our provider Jenna Muscat FNP at our last visit was just over an hour. Not good. This time we are seeing Asako Shin FNP and we are at almost 2 hours with no update on when we'll be seen! My father is 82 with Alzheimer's. These wait times are unacceptable for any patient, but particularly upsetting for elderly who need to rest, eat and use restroom frequently. I asked to speak with the manager and he is not in today. We will not be returning to this office. read more

My husband was a long time patient of Dr. Krueger. On Sept 8 2022 he was seen for his annual visit. He had an echo like he does every year. They scheduled him for a follow up on Oct 20. On September 26 he had a massive heart attack. He survived but now has permanent heart damage. When we went for an ER follow up at his office we asked the nurse practioner what the results were for the echo he had on September 8. She proceeded to tell us that the echo was abnormal! Not one person from that office thought that maybe we should have been notified so that he could have immediately had an angioplasty that would have prevented the heart attack! Dr krueger signed that echo so i know he saw the results! My husband almost died and because of the damage done to his heart, his life will never be the same! I asked the nurse practioner how that could have happened and all I got was I don't know! To this date we still have never received any kind of an explanation or an apology from anyone in that office! His staff is also extremely rude and unprofessional! I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years and I have never seen such incompetence. Absolutely shameful! DO NOT TRUST YOUR CARDIAC CARE TO THIS OFFICE! read more

Brought my mom in to see the doctor. He was an hour late and I felt pressured to accept his recommendation to do a procedure at the hospital. I decided to get a second opinion and thank God I did. No procedure needed and my mom is doing great. I think he is not motivated to care for patients. I would not recommend him. read more

Came in for a follow-up that the office scheduled on their own. Last time I came for an initial appointment that included an Echo. That all cost about $300 cash. Today they wanted to charge me $799 for an echo that isn't "necessary". Even when I emphasized CASH pay, they said that was what it costs and told me it's what I paid last time even though it wasn't. Krueger was a nice guy and informative, but unfortunately Irritated at the waste of time and what I feel is unreasonableness in price. I'll deal with whatever I need to and/or find someone else. Very impressed with the professionalism of this office. I have terrible anxiety having had 25+ surgeries due to birth defects and from greeting me in the lobby, administering the I.V. medication and then taking the x-rays, Cindy was more than patient and kind. She reassured me and explained everything she was doing, ( and The IV went in without pain the first time). I had this test in the past and had a horrible time with the injectable nuclear cardiac stress part. Curtis did the EKG and administered the medication, but first explained and told me it was a new one they had just changed formularies 2 months ago. He also noted that I was asthmatic and have COPD and told me I could use my inhaler if the tightness of my chest became a problem. He then reassured me throughout the test, which was 90 % more bearable then the same test I had done in the past. I am so thankful that this visit went so well. I'm sure Dr. Krueger is a fine doctor - we were referred to him by our trusted primary care doctor. But his office situation is HORRIBLE. We arrived for a scheduled appointment at 2pm. At 3:30pm, we were finally led into an interior waiting room, where we waited another 30 minutes before the doctor arrived. I asked the office staff several times what the hold up was, and I was told "you are next." As we are just starting my 80 year old mother's treatment with him, I will wait and see how he is as a doctor before switching to another cardiologist. But I am not pleased so far. Dirty office and waiting two hours (missing a dental appointment myself) does not leave a great first impression. read more

My husband has been a patient of Dr Krueger for several years. We have severed our relationship with this medical provider. The care received was very passive and felt neglectful. We have not actually spoken to the Dr for almost a year... he conducts all of his business through NPs. As the spouse of the patient, I had to do my own research and forcefully advocate for my husband. I would not recommend anybody to seek care from Dr Krueger. read more

I'm wondering if I went to the same office as the other reviewers. At first I thought perhaps all of the reviews were outdated, as I understand the grumpiest technician retired. But I noticed they review prior to me was just a week before I had my test. And my experience was a polar opposite to the three reviews before mine. I first came to Dr. Krueger's office a couple of weeks ago for my initial evaluation. Dr. Krueger was on time and personable from the start. He was very knowledgeable about the cardiac tests my doctor was requesting and took the time to explain those tests to me and informed me of their value to my medical care. His medical assistant was very friendly, engaging me in small talk to make me comfortable while collecting my initial vitals. I returned today for my tests, a PET exam, followed by an echocardiogram. The majority of complaints levied against Dr. Krueger's office are essentially saying that the staff is rude. Now I will admit that the employee who checks in patients at the front counter was "all business", but she wasn't rude. The worst I can say is that she wasn't overly friendly. Every other person, during both visits, was either quite professional while remaining friendly and personable or was efficient and businesslike I was called back for my first exam by a delightful woman who is named Donna. She went out of her way to familiarize me with the exam I was about to undertake, while leaving plenty of time to help me reduce my anxiety. The rest of the hour I spent with her and her equally congenial coworker, Karen, was as pleasant and comfortable as possible, considering the requirements of the exam. I was then taken to another exam room where a charming and bubbly young ultrasound technologist performed the echocardiogram. I'm so sorry to say that I cannot remember her name, because she definitely deserves recognition for maintaining an effervescent demeanor while performing this unpleasant procedure. She was professional and thorough, fully informing me what I could expect over the next half hour I was spending with her. I hope people give this office and opportunity and don't pass them by because of the negative reviews. I'm certain that every medical office has both good and bad employees, but my experience at Dr. Krueger's office found a definite majority of good, friendly, educated professionals. read more

I have been going to Mid Valley Cardiology for many years. Probably out of 15 visits I've only actually seen Dr Krueger only 3 times maybe. All of the rest of the times it was his physicians assistants or staff that does testing. It would be nice if at least on the follow ups he would take the time to see his patients. One time I did a stress test this past year and they made the follow up for the results of the stress test four months later! That's a very long time to have to wait for your results! Also recently my primary care doctor referred me there because I am having chest pain, Mid Valley cardiology did call me the same day that I saw my primary care doctor and they asked me a few questions and I told them that I was having chest pains and they said they would call me back. Finally at the end of the day at 5 PM (Monday) when they were closing they called call me back and said they want me to come in Thursday for a follow up. I'm having chest pains and they tell me to wait another three or four days to come to their office. That is not a way to treat patients. Apparently they do not care if I had a heart attack. I wonder if they treat their loved ones like they treat their patients? read more

Both my husband and I have been patients of Dr. Krurger for several years. He sees to our well being answers our questions and makes us feel comfortable. The front desk although don't always take part in pleasantries do their job. The nurses and techs as well as the staff that set up appointments are exceptional. The older woman mentioned in a negative comment is retired now. But she was efficient and not so bad . She just needed some prompting for conversation. Ive been there four times and only met with the Dr once. The wait time was horrific every time. Of the four appointments the least amount of wait time I had was 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I also arrive 10-15 minutes before for my appointments too. Front office staff is very helpful and will even try fitting you in when you are running late. Friendly, caring and helpful. Stress test/Cardiology Tech was a total BITCH! Wasn't sure she even had a pulse until she actually snickered my name in a monotone voice. Did not even get her name, as she never introduced herself. Probably for obvious reasons like HORRIBLE bedside manners/customer service!! Completely rude and short, cutting me off mid sentence. Never allowed me to empty my bladder before beginning test. When I asked for the bathroom, she took a deep breath, rolled her eyes and exclaimed in a scolding voice "the bathroom is in the front! You passed it coming back here." She lacked proper communication skills, regardless of her "bad day/I can't wait to get out of this hell hole" attitude!! She asked about my pain/discomfort level when I asked to stop the test (bladder bursting) and wanted me to explain why I wanted the test stopped. My answers of "well almost pissing my pants" would not suffice! She continued to ask and finally said, I just need to add it to the chart. I am ready to switch Docs. I refuse to pay my insurance premiums for minimum quality personnel and especially low level Cardiology Techs who act like I am taking away from their donated time! This office staff is very cold and uncaring. Your wait time is way to long. As for the older lady doing the stress test, she is about as personal as a box of rocks. Why the Dr. keeps her is beyond me, maybe she is his mother. But whatever the reason, her negative attitude needs to be pushed out the door for a younger upbeat personality. My wife is a patient of Dr. Michael Kruger at Mid Valley Cardiology. She had an appointment at 1:15 and didn't get taken back into a room until 2:20! I understand offices are usually behind, but an hour! The receptionist was very rude when we asked why patients who arrived after us were being sent back into rooms. Then we asked the receptionist again what the hold up was and she just sat on her computer basically ignoring me. I had to ask her to get up and find out what was going on. She is horrible! Dr. Kruger and his staff in the back are nice and helpful but if they don't change that receptionist, that business is going to go broke! read more

Just had my first visit and i had a great experience the medical assistant who roomed me was very nice and wrote down all of my concerns and symptoms. I thought the staff was great considering how busy it looked at 9 am. My wait time was about 30 mins which is not bad. The doctor seemed to be very nice and is aimed at coming up a solution to the problem. He was professional and straight to the point and easy to understand. I brought a relative for an appointment recently. Although the wait was 30 minutes it was not unacceptable especially since our appointment was made the day before and they accommodated us. The doctor was thorough and took his time to explain what testing was necessary and why. We were scheduled for testing, a treadmill with imaging, that very week and were given results quickly. I have waited months to get a first appointment with other specialists. It was great to get in, questions answered and results quickly! read more

Dr Kruger is my cardiologist and has been for about 10 years. I came in today for my 9:30 appt I checked in at 9:23. The receptionist name was Laura. Laura didn't smile say good morning actually she seemed a little annoyed. After I checked in an sat down, I was very close to the front desk, I listened to her interactions with patients in person and on the phone. Laura was very curt with and did not smile said people were bothering her. Then something happened. A young tall good looking pharmaceutical sales rep came in and Laura was all smiles and flirty. I guess you have tone a tall good lucking guy to get common courtesy. The visit with Dr. Kruger was very good but this one staff member I spoke of puts a real downer on the whole visit read more

First off the office was so clean and decorated nicely. It didn't have the classic doctors office feel to it which I enjoyed. The girl that brought me back to the room and did my EKG was so professional and down to earth!! Dr. Krueger was very nice and professional as well. Brought my mother in for her annual testing , and sad to say the provider is amazing great Dr , however his staff everyone from the front desk to the back was horrible we've been going for years and seems like the whole staff I remember for years that was professional and comforting has been completely changed out ... office seemed really scattered as far as work flow a lot of errors on my moms information made our overall experience quite concerning rather than comforting and front office receptions was not too friendly , my overall experience was hardly exceptional I can only say this is a great Dr the office itself is not what I remember it to be really sad , be prepared to wait for a long time in the waiting room . read more

In the middle of September 2017, I called them on a monday about not feeling well and that my blood pressure was high. They told me to go to my primary care and i did on Wednesday. By Friday, I was feeling flush, my neck, back, ears, and jaw hurt, I was confused, and just felt bad in general. I called Dr. Kruegers office Friday, and they told me to come in on Monday. I went in, and i was telling the girl that takes your blood pressure how I was feeling. She was very rude, told me I needed to see my primary care doctor for it. She acted like she didn't care. My blood pressure was still high so she went and told the doctor. He increased my Valstartin from 80mg to 320mg WITHOUT SEEING ME! I didn't question it, as I thought he knew what he was doing. During the week, I progressively got worse. I kept thinking it was my blood pressure. A few days later, my blood pressure dropped and my heart rate went way up. It was on a Saturday, so I couldn't call them. I called my daughter, and she told me to go to emergency asap. When I got there I learned I was in Afib, and probably had been for weeks. They overdosed me on my meds, the girl didn't take any of my complaints into consideration, and she never gave an explanation as to why they were increasing my meds so much. I am now back on the 80 mg, and I am doing fine. I moved away from Fresno, and got a new heart doctor. I believe there was a lot of negligence on their part because they didn't catch that I was in Afib. I was at risk of having a stroke or a heart attack, and they sent me away. read more

First of all, the entire staff is excellent. The care is better than ever and I would not see any other cardiologist than Dr. Krueger. However, there is way too much personal drama in the office between Dr. Krueger's wife. I do not understand why Dr. Krueger's wife is always in the office. I have been 3 different occasions in the past few months and she has always been there, being a distraction to the staff. She is very loud and disruptive to the whole practice and it does not seem like she's contributing what so ever to her husbands practice.
