I called him 2-3 weeks after the 1st contractor got sick and Renee seemed little upset that I had not gone w him in the 1st place and knew I was under a strict deadline from home owners association, so he raised the price 1200. I had no time to find another contractor. I have never seen a contractor that would not honor his estimate if it is accepted within 30 days. He brought the contract to my home, asked for 1/2 in cash upfront even though I had already supplied the materials. I said no. Once they got on the roof, everything became a nitpicks with exaggerated costs. $80 EACH in labor costs simply to lay plywood sheets. After I complained, he said, "ok I do $40 but I have to rewrite contract w no warranty because your not going to do what I say". He provided a certificate of insurance but I called there and they said, "He may not have a license. You can have business ins without a license" and I searched WI Credential Holder Inquiry website and neither his business nor his name appear. He also liked to days off and quit early. He would come down and talk about how he was a man of faith and talk about the good deeds he has done for people and then go up to find another problem to charge me for. Then wink at me from the roof saying, "I take care of you". He laid my underlayment in the rain. My husband was standing under the awning & overheard him say "5000 not enough!! 5000 not enough!! Anybody w truck like that has money!!". So his bill was nearly 8000 in cash for a tear off on a small 864sq ft single story home w simple design and he eliminated my warranty. Then he had audacity to show up to get final cash payment in a new white truck. I will say however, that his son is a hard worker and cleaned everything up. It is Renee that deceives you w his pleasantries which are really nothing more than a way to hook you & then drive up costs with nitpicky, exaggerated & manufactured claims to inflate costs on your roof. They also fixed a pocket door and got and installed a custom made hand railing for a step area that was unusual in size and style. Everything they did was quality work with quality products. They were clean, polite, and friendly. The work was done in the time frame they said it would be done in, which was very important to us. The cost was fair and competitive. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again for future projects.

They charged me an additional $600 to repair the front of my house where I had an overhang. I asked several times about the cost and stated this is the full amount and was told yes, they would not charge any more than what was on the agreement we BOTH signed. Well that didn't hold up and we ended up having to pay $600 more. My front picture window was defective so it needed to be replaced. Twice it was replaced and broken. The screens for the front larger picture window don't stay in and fall out with the wind. The smaller window in the living room doesn't open all the way and opens very hard. My trim in the kitchen window was damaged and there was a large gap in the wood. I had to ask them to come back to repair it and you can still see where the gap and discoloration is. I would not recommend this company to do work for me again and would not hire them again. I tried to discuss this with the owner, Micah, and got no where. He wouldn't refund the $600 or even part of it. I have also asked for a receipt for the additional $600 I had to pay and two months later I am still waiting for the receipt, even though I was told that would not be a problem to get the receipt.

When the rep from Window World arrived for his appointment, he was courteous, professional, and did not do a horse and pony show. He simply got right to the point in explaining what Window World was about, explained the product, explained the warranty, and the installation process along with the financing and price breakdown thoroughly. They offered a superior product for the price and over $7000 less than a comparable company offering the same type of product. We went with the Energy Star Dbl Pane Series 4000 mid grade window. We need 17 windows replaced but budgets being what they are, went with the 6 that needed to be addressed right away which were 4 2nd story windows and 2 living room windows. Once ordered, he stated that it would be 6 to 8 weeks to installation. It ended up only being 5. The installers were fantastic. They took their time and did a fantastic job. The outside molding and siding were done with attention to detail and they even took care of a minor repair on a different window when a problem was discovered. Once everything was cleaned up, they went through care and maintenance and I couldn't tell they were ever there. The difference with drafts upstairs and in the living room were immediately noticeable and the installation is flawless. They look great! I will be contacting them again next year to do 6 more windows and then again to finish off the project.
