Got oil change for a good price but I also requested they check a leaky heater hose for me and they said they would. When they were "done" and started to ring me up for the oil change, I wanted to know about the hose because I needed it replaced. I asked if they checked it and he said "no" and with no explanation. I guess they didn't want to?? What kind of customer service is that?? Sadly, I will not be returning to this location for service again. read more

Get told I need rotors, pads , the works done to the back. want 2nd opinion , take car into GMC dealership Only to be told everything including pads are perfectly fine. I was referred here by Discount Tires because I had a stripped lug nut. I came in and was quickly greeted and they took my paperwork from Discount. I was in and out of this place in about 30 minutes. They have a coffee maker, a water filter, and a few teas for people who are waiting. The restroom could use a few improvements for customers, but it wasn't the worst I've been in. read more

And the lady in front of me asked about a Groupon she said she wanted to know if they use it you guys said okay no problem you don't even need to buy the Groupon we'll honor it. I actually have a Groupon and then they refused my Groupon for some reason I guess I'm not female. Asked to see the manager he said he was the manager. Said no Midas have this coupon. I've been to this location a few times and it's been pretty standard but this last visit they lost my business. I came in with aftermarket shocks I wanted Installed on my 2018 F-150. After a week or so of driving I noticed terrible squeaking on the front end. I returned and asked them about it while I got an alignment from them. They said it probably will go away after I put more miles on. It never went away and I reached out to the manufacturer. They said a common mistake that installers make is they use the old dust covers on the new shocks. After I looked that's exactly what happened. I went back in assuming they would fix it. They gave me excuse after excuse. "How we're they supposed to know" etc... not quite the professionals they advertise. They wouldn't fix it without me paying for a full install all over again. I talked to the manager on duty and he offered me a discount on services for their mistake. The product wasn't faulty but the install was. They should've known not to put the old dust covers from my old shocks on my new ones. It says so in the directions that they left inside my truck. The second sign is that they actually had to cut the old covers to fit them on the new shock. Poor customer service. As a business owner myself I would never charge my customer for my mistakes. read more

Terrible experience trying to schedule maintenance for a fleet vehicle. After calling Midas to ask if they perform maintenance on ARI/Holman vehicles, I was told yes it is not a problem. I informed them of the maintenance that needs to be performe on a fleet vehicle during the call, and they said not a problem. For my appointment checkin, the clerk began checking me in until I reminded him that I had a fleet vehicle with ARI/Holman. Clerk said Midas cannot perform the maintenance because ARI/Holman is not registered through Midas. I reassured the clerk that the Midas location is listed on our vendor list, but the clerk did not seem to care. Frustrated at this point, I left and called our fleet line to discuss the confusion. My fleet line confirmed that Midas is an account. In a second attempt, I spoke to the clerk. I advised him to check or call the company to help with the process, but he did not care to call in an effort to keep my business. It was a waste of time that could have been avoided if the clerk verified an issue during the phone call. read more

Went for just a simple oil change and was blown away by the staff and service. The desk tech named Kolby was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, pointed out a few suggestions for me without the dreaded "push" I've come to expect from sales at auto places, I hadn't noticed my wipers were shot and Was offered information on which best to replace with. It was refreshing to have gotten service and not be "sold." The entire staff was quick and friendly, social distance was maintained with no discomfort or annoyance. I highly recommend this store and the staff is knowledgeable and well trained. Both Kolby and Joe were 5 star and I hope more businesses have servicemen like them, I'll be back for sure, I'd just hate to see it any other way. read more

I submit all kinds of reviews, good and bad, for several different establishments. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I have brought all of my vehicles there for years. They are friendly, with quality service and (I can't stress this enough) they are honest. Finding an honest mechanic can sometimes be hard to do. Most people get the feeling they are being "upsaled" on services. That is not the case here. Their manager Clinton always finds a way to get the job done at reasonable prices. I will keep bringing my cars here and recommend it to others. read more

So I got a Groupon for an oil change. Went there and they say there is a $3 fee for Groupon, why? Hmm... that is the only reason I am unsure of the place. They were very quick in changing the oil got me in and out. If this is their tactic to make extra cash on Groupon sales not good read more

The quality of service here is pretty good, friendly, not pushy sales desk. Why I give 3 and not 4 or 5 stars is in the end I feel it is overpriced service. Also I had made a reservation online and they had no record of it, which was frustrating when I showed up at the scheduled service time expecting to get in expediently but instead was just put in next in the queue. I imagine like many other businesses these corporate online reservation systems are not really connected to reality at the franchise location. The thing that the Midas franchise has going for them is a very long, generally positive reputation. Clearly they take that name to the bank (ye ole Midas touch). read more

My husband took his SUV into Midas after having good experiences prior with them. Not this time! It took them days to complete the diagnostic, never called us, we had to call them only to be quoted $5400 to fix the repair. We called around, including the dealer (which was $3600) and found out their quote was insane!! Then, not 10 minutes after they called initially the called back to say they couldn't fix it at all anyway. So, we had to tow it away. We called the tow company, which was on a 2 hour delay. Around 5:00, Midas called wondering when we would be coming to get the truck? Really?! They're coming!! They told us they were busy and running low on space. Apparently, if you don't get their insanely expensive repair work done immediately, you must remove your non-drivable car immediately. We have never experienced such swindling and rudeness ever! I stopped in at Midas late this afternoon needing a quick inspection of my rear differential fluid level as I thought I had noticed a leak and was concerned it was out of fluid. They were busy with scheduled appointments but promised they would help me out as soon as possible. And they did! I did not have to wait long at all. They did the inspection and reported back news I was happy to receive. They didn't even charge me. The lobby is comfortable to wait in. Both it and the shop were very clean as was the bathroom. All of the staff at the counter and the technicians were all friendly and very helpful. Thank you! read more

Came in for an oil change today, as a new customer, and received absolutely terrible service. I waited over an hour for an oil change that should have taken no more than half that time, only to have to return an hour later because my car was hemorrhaging fluid. They fixed it while being extremely vague about the source of the real problem, and I had to fight the guy to get a refund. Never coming here again. read more

Took my car in for a emissions violation,knew what was wrong and told them but still charged me 100$ too diagnose the problem which i told them,so they TRY to fix the problem say drive it for a day computer will reset,but it they do it they will charge me another 100,so i drive it home gas light cones on when i still have half a tank,next day gonna take it back it wont start,saving money too take it too a real mechanic,will never go there again bad business and i will tell everyone in that area cause thats where i live,found a mechanic better a will try to send people there,somebody who's truely honest!! read more
