I bring over 40 years of engineering and maintenance experience in the U.S. Navy, including 25 years of active duty and 15 years in government service working directly on U.S. Navy warships. When I say I know good maintenance practices, I mean it. While visiting my granddaughter (and by default, my daughter), the maintenance light came on. With my son-in-law out of town, I stepped in--something always seems to come up on the home front when the service member is away. I was grateful to be in town to take care of this, especially considering how often I wished someone had been there for my own family while I was deployed. From the moment I pulled in, the experience at Take 5 was top-notch. I was offered a complimentary bottle of water while Jacob walked me through each step. He verified the oil type, clearly explained the pricing, and ensured everything was fully transparent. The entire team operated like a well-oiled machine--thorough, professional, and in sync. They didn't just change the oil. They: * Replaced the air filter * Checked the wipers * Checked and adjusted tire pressure * Topped off all fluids What truly impressed me was their communication--loud, clear, and confident call-outs of each step and condition, followed by repeat-back confirmations. As someone who's spent decades in engineering, I appreciated the use of repeat-back procedures, a fundamental practice in high-stakes maintenance and operations. The final safety check was exceptional. Jacob verified: * Oil filter tightness * Drain plug secured * All fluids topped off Then, Denver, the lead mechanic, presented the dipstick for visual verification of the oil level and reviewed all completed maintenance before resetting the maintenance light. The quality assurance process at the end sealed the deal. It's rare to see that level of diligence and pride in work, and it reflects strong leadership and a commitment to doing the job right. I was thoroughly impressed and told my daughter she can trust them with her car. I would be proud to be the owner of this shop--and I'm proud to recommend it to anyone looking for honest, competent, and respectful vehicle maintenance.     After being quoted a price of $900 to change a water pump I asked them to cease any practice on my…read morevehicle. I owed them $80 for diagnostics and I paid it they claimed that the serpentine belt broke but when I asked to see the part they said they threw it out. I am a delivery driver and one of my fellow drivers changed my water pump for $50. I looked on the breakdown of parts and charges and one of those charges was a serpentine belt drive component kit that they wanted to charge me $235.50 we found the same thing at O'Reilly's for $65 they wanted to charge me $100 for a water pump I paid $75 at O'Reilly's they also wanted to change the thermostat and they also wanted to take care of my tie rods and control arm and axle shaft assembly so on and so forth they had a total bill of $2,574.31 and I feel that they are engaging and deceptive practices I will be contacting the better Business bureau and I have already contacted the attorney generals because I'm going to file a complaint of deceptive practice. They done messed with the wrong Polack
