My initial review:…read more Hello. I've had my previous two oil changes done at your shop. The last time, estimating May-unsure exactly, there was a leak following the oil change. I brought it back and a "new, bigger," plug was placed in order to stop the leak. It continued to drip intermittently. Yesterday, I took my van to the local Honda dealer here in Rapid City. When the techs went to remove the plug, the threads broke off. They were not able to get the plug back in, without leaking. I had to leave my car there, since it won't hold oil. Now I have to get a new oil pan installed, to the tune of $900. This is not okay. How will you remedy this? Thank you. Er had called a dealer in Rapid city before someone told us about D&F. This place is a real auto mechanic shop! We had no idea what was wrong as our truck wouldn't drive past 50 miles an hour. And the owner had this truck fixed in no time. The dealerships before someone told us about DF told us that repair will take weeks. And this shop fixed it in less than 4 hours and it was perfect. The diesel mechanics said they could repair it for $5000 or remove the DEF system for $1600. I chose to remove it. Now 2026 my truck was stolen and was recovered with no keys. No body in the area would work on it to get new keys cause of the missing DEF system, especially the Ford dealership. I went to Rapid Diesel and talked to them. They said they could take care of my problem of no keys and check the truck out for any other issues. They were great to work with. They notice that the brakes have been rode hard and desperately needed replacing which they did. They were very upfront with everything, no surprises. Next time I need diesel repair in Rapid City there is no question, I'm going to go to Rapid Diesel. I can't say enough good about them, they were great.
