Very poor customer service. I order rims over the phone. When I visited the shop on Warmen I was…read moretold that information I was given over the phone was wrong and that those "customer service people didn't know what they were doing, I was told my rims would be in on Saturday, if not, then by Tuesday. I called on Tuesday, was put on hold for 20 minutes, then told it looked like the rims were on the delivery truck due to arrive by noon. Someone would call me later that day. I never heard from them. The following Monday I called at 8am, waited on hold for 20 minutes to get through then was told the rims never arrived but that couldn't be right. The service man was going to look into it. And promised to call me back. By 2:30, I still hadn't heard back so I called again and asked for the same sales person. I was told he was on the phone with another customer but would call me right back. I mentioned that I had heard that before but never got a call. Once again, they PROMISED a call back in just a couple minutes. By 4:30, and still no call back, I once again called and asked for my service person by name. I was then told he had gone home for the day!!! I was so angry, I took my business elsewhere. Finally Kaltire called me at 6pm to tell me my rims were in. I told them because of their poor customer service over the last 2weeks-I took my business else where, and cancelling my order

Giving one star because I cant give negative 100 . Firstly…read morethe left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing at this company. The customer service is highly either suspect or not trained. You can't get estimates for general maintenance on theyre website ( oil changes, filter changes etc ). So on my experience in called for oil change on my particular vehicle ( passenger car ) if I brought my own oil and and was given a range $25 to $35. Great so i take it there and once done boom $79. At that point cant.do anything so the next day I called again. Just to ask again same info , and sane range given $25 to $35. So I called head office and wrote a email complaint as well attached with my receipt. Basically this company circled theyre wagons, basically called me for lying and blew me off. So here you are folks cat fishing at its ugly incarnation. There are lots of independent shops in town many with HONEST proprietors you dont need to deal with a corporate fraud. And thats exactly what Great Canadian oil change is. Should be called Great Canadian Scam

I would never suggest anyone to go here. I just got a car in August 2025 and in Feb 15 2026 it was…read moredue for an oil change for the first time since getting it from Volkswagen, so I took it to Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips. They changed my oil and let me leave with a peace of mind that everything was good. A day later my car was making weird noises, my dad checked and all the oil leaked out of my car. We contacted them and they scheduled to come on Feb 19 to re-do the oil. They couldn't figure out why my oil was leaking and said I had a might have broken head gasket and to take it to Volkwagen to get it serviced as it was still leaking. I got it to Volswagen and they found that Real Canadian Oil Change did not put a sealing washer which is required everytime you change the oil and was the reason why the oil was leaking, no broken head gasket either. They mention my engine is now damaged due to lack of oil lubrication, I let Real Canadian Oil Change know that they forgot to add a sealing washer, Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips then claimed my car was heavily leaking oil at the appointment "which they DID NOT inform me on while getting serviced" now I am in the process of seeking legal advice due to Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips denying their simple mistake. I'm a single mother of one with another baby on the way working FULL-TIME, and currently paying ppl to drive me to work and to doctor's appointments, the stress this has caused me has been very significant. I'm still currently paying my insurance and car payments while my car is sitting because I can't afford to pay 6000$ for a used engine or 9000$ for a new engine due to the damage from lack of oil lubrication. My car was driving perfectly until the day I took it to Real Canadian and has been undrivable since the 19th of February. Yet they claim my car was leaking heavily before the appointment. Based on the report that Volkswagen provided I gave Real Canadian Oil Change proof that Volkswagen said they didn't add a sealing washer and they're still not trying to resolve for pay for the issues that they've caused. I've been professional in contacting them and I'm just very frustrated and stressed since this has happened and they don't care.

Took it back and they charged me again for recharging the system they didn't fix the first time. Couple months later, and it stopped working. I did my own diagnostics, and lo and behold the front seal on the compressor is leaking, leaving green dye ( black light shoes the due ) on the block of the engine directly below the compressor. I booked an appointment on Friday to get my winter tires put on for the following Tuesday. The guy took my information over the phone and told me to come in for a morning appointment. Skip to Tuesday. I got to OK Tire around 8am, just after they opened. I was told that they didn't have an appointment scheduled for me and that I would have to leave my car there for the whole day and they'd get to it when they could. I got a call around 3pm from them telling me that they snapped my lug nuts for my back tires in half while trying to take them out and that they were stuck in the studs. The guy I talked to said that they would have to drill out the broken lug nut and that it would be $150 per hour, per tire. To fix their mistake?! The lug nuts on my tires were new. They were just put on my summer tires last season. There was no rust. They were in good condition. I went to get my car around 4:15pm. I sat around and waited to get my car back until 5:15pm(15 minutes after close), only for them to tell me that they weren't going to have it fixed that night and they were giving me a "courtesy" car. Today(Wednesday), I tried to get into the "courtesy" car after work to go pick up my car from OK Tire. First the key fob wouldn't unlock the door, so I used the key to get in. Then the engine wouldn't turn on. I was on the other side of the city. I called OK Tire and they had me call a tow truck. What a joke. I eventually got to OK Tire before they closed. There was a bigger guy with dark hair at the counter that I talked to first. He told me my total was $550. On what should have been a $50 tire change. I told him that I was comfortable paying for their mistake but that obviously I was going to pay for what I went in there for, getting my winter tires on. He went and got a younger guy with long blonde hair. I was explaining to him that it doesn't make sense for me to pay for something that THEY broke. All he wanted to do was argue. Then the OWNER stepped in. Middle aged guy with glasses. He told me that I was being unreasonable and that he has to pay his guys for the labor. He said that since it's my car, fixes are my responsibility. Which is obviously true, except in this case, since THEY BROKE my lug nuts. They refused to take any responsibility. He said he would cut my total in half and charge me $320. Wow, so generous!! After being insulted and arguing for 25 minutes, I had enough. 3 men against 1 women. PATHETIC. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever experienced. I'm disgusted by how anyone there can justify this, start to finish, horrible experience. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!
