I was referred here by an outside doctor due to lower back pain following a car accident. The people are friendly enough, but there is no progression of treatment. They just do the same thing every session, regardless of how you are feeling. It is just a giant room with 20 beds. You sign in with the receptionist and then walk in back to the PT room. Generally, no one greets you. You are then left trying to figure out where to go or what to do. When you finally get assigned a table, there is usually not one therapist working with you the whole time. You lay there with heat until they feel like coming back to you...could be one minute or thirty minutes. Shouldn't there be a plan for how long you should be on the heat? They assign you exercises and walk away and then charge $115 for "supervised exercise". The therapists ask you what else you need done...you should be telling me, not asking me!! It was just a very stressful experience at every appointment. Jonathan is great but the rest of the staff are hit or miss. There are a lot of 20 something's who seem more interested in flirting with each other than treating the patients. They are also always eating!!! There is an office when you first walk in and the therapists are always running back in there in the middle of your treatment and eating. I'm not a stuffy person but the environment is far too casual for my liking. I prefer my medical appointments to feel like I'm receiving care, they know who I am and what is supposed to be happening. That didn't happen here. I went 2-3 times a week for 3 or 4 weeks and the only progress I made was toward my insurance deductible. I felt no better after all the treatments than the day I walked in. I ultimately cancelled all remaining appointments and no one contacted me to follow up on my treatment - they just don't care. If you need physical therapy, I highly recommend going to a smaller practice where you will get more individualized and professional care. read more

The entire staff was rude and you can tell they didn't want to be there. The PA had me take the bandages and put them back on because he didn't want to be bothered. It hurts tremendously and he didn't assist at all. I had to have the clerk at the end go find the PA to get the paperwork finished and answer my unanswered questions. If I was the head of that office I would be ashamed. read more

Staff is unprofessional and will let people stand at the desk and not say a word to them while they speak amongst themselves. I had an early morning appt and was told that the doctor was an hour behind. Already?! I asked to reschedule because I have a job to get to. I went back today, leaving work early, only to have them say the doctor was held up in surgery and all his appointments are cancelled. They claimed to have called me when I clearly did not receive a call. As a new patient, this put a bad taste in my mouth. I refused to reschedule and instead told the smarmy clerk that I would find another doctor. She looked at me like I was crazy. This is unacceptable from a medical practice. People are in pain and they act this inconsiderate. read more

The dr I had was great and he did an excellent job during the surgery. During physical therapy the sessions started out good but ended up with me being injured by the therapist. As it was happening I told the therapist that they were going to far and it was hurting. They told me to try to hold on and held me in position for 30 - 60 seconds. During that time of holding pain and electrical impulses shot throughout the area and tears started coming out of my eyes. As the therapist returned the area being worked on to a neutral position they wanted to move me again and I told the therapist to wait because the impulses were still shooting through the area. They repeated the movement 2 more time and tears still came forth. An aide applied ice afterwards but I couldn't stop crying. The therapist never came back to check on me. After the session I left and cancelled all sessions there. The head therapist did see me again to asses the area to see if there might be any tears in my muscles and ligaments. He felt it was just inflamed and should go back to normal in a few days. Five weeks of extreme pain later and with the help of medication, a VascuTherm Unit, cortizone injection and an excellent therapist the muscles popped back in place. I also had to go for an MRI to verify the extent of the injury. I did like th eplace and everyone that worked with me for the most part. What I didn't like was that after I was injured and they apologized nobody offered to compensate me for the additional costs that I will now incur. The least they could have done was offer free sessions until I returned to where I was physically before I got injured. Instead I received comments with variations on the following theme. "The therapist is very sorry for what happened and they didn't mean it. We disciplined the therapist and unfortunantly these things happen. Now we just want you to focus on getting better". Part of my recovery is knowing how my medical bills are being paid for while I m out of work without pay and an apology won't satisfy the bill collectors. Leaving the patient holding the bag with additional medical expenses is just poor business practice especially for a facility in the medical field where they are there to help us get better. If they were worried about a lawsuit they could have had me sign a release since they were making the injury good and were making an effort to get me back to normal. Instead I felt they were uncaring and minimized my injury, pain and additional expenses by their comments. read more
