I have a relative that has been jumped and hospitalized because he didn't react when another inmate spit on him. He was beaten and put in the hospital. Once he was released him back, he has suffered from lack of medical care for his injuries including tbi. He spoke with me and he doesn't sound the same. Todayhe calls me and tells me he fell in the shower. He was evaluated and released by midline. He's slurring his words and has pressure in this head so I told him to go back to his cell. I call the prison, not surprised every number goes to voice mail. I finally got the operator who transferred me to outpatient care. She had an attitude when I mentioned my relatives name and purposfully pronouncedhisname wrong and telling someone in her area, oh its a relative on@#%^and she's calling on him. She got back on the phone and she asked what I wanted. I told her my relative suffered a head injury and having symptoms of a stroke and someone needs to evaluate him in the hospital, not infirmary. She then said, someone will call you, so I said don't you need my number, she said maw as long as you are on his contact list,but no one can give you any information. WTH

Not knowing the reason for the cancellation and privileges being revoked I have called several times in the last two weeks only to be sent to voice mails that are full or when messages are left at other extensions I get no return call. This is un-acceptable and should be investigated by higher authorities. Someone or several people are not doing their job. I finally called their HR dept. The sweet girl there said her department gets a lot of calls like mine out of frustration but unfortunately her dept. could not help. They deal with the employees only. If I broke a rule I'd like to know what it was and see if it can be corrected but nothing comes to my mind as to what could have happened. All I want is a telephone call back to me to explain.

A drive up up book drop off is offered on the parking lot side. The library floor plan is on the smaller side, but still has many volumes including a Children's area. The building was renovated 25 years ago and still looks great! I would recommend a visit.
