They hold wonderful yearly events, weekly farmers markets in the summer, and have recently introduced a DORA (designated outdoor drinking area). There are many local businesses that have pride in their community and strongly support eachother. When downtown suffered a fire, that sadly damaged several businesses, the community truly stepped up. When a recent flood infiltrated several buildings, the neighbors jumped into action! There are gorgeous parks, and the bike trail runs through here. Downtown has free parking in many areas (some with time limits). Police and fire contribute greatly to the strength of this community. It is a safe city. The chamber of commerce has a great presence as well. I managed a business in this city for a while and the people really make it a special place. Could I continue to gush about it? Sure! But the best way is for you to check it out for yourself!

You will learn how one man's dream created an amazing castle here in Loveland, Ohio. I first visited this place when I was dating my husband as he was trying to "smitten" me with fun places to visit back when I lived in Dayton, Ohio. We found this place by accident but loved the history behind it. Man's love for midevil history creates an interesting castle. Coming back to it this day, I like how they updated some things with the castle to keep up with past history. Just last week, I arrived at this post office exactly 2 minutes before closing time and when I got…read moreinside to open the door to go to the counter it was already locked. I looked at my iPhone which read 5:29. Two male workers were still at the desk and I had 2 packages in hand with postage already attached. I didn't need a receipt but I did need for them to go out that day. I tapped on the door and asked if I put the packages in the drop box would they post mark them to still go out today? If they said no I planned to drive a few miles further to the post office location off fields ertel rd that stays open until 6:00PM but, they yelled from the desk loud enough for me to hear from the other side of the glass doors "yes, put them in the package bin and we will get them out today". I said thank you and left. They didn't end up post marking those packages until 24 HRS LATER!!!! Delivered them on a Tuesday at 5:29 and they were not received by them until Wednesday around 5:30! Just do as you say you will when you are representing a business!! I trust a USPS worker to do as they say they will do? I ended up having to send credits to the buyers of those two packages as a result of this. Just say "NO" if you are going to be so lazy to not get them after you say you will because I could have driven them to a post office that would have. That was over a week ago and I am still so angry about this! Additionally, about 1 month prior, I had another incident with this post office where I dropped off 3 packages on a Friday afternoon at the counter. 2 of the 3 were post marked as "received" moments after I left. The 3rd one wasn't marked as received until the following Tuesday afternoon!! Why? I had to give that customer a full credit because of these irresponsible young men that work at this location! Do you think this post office location is going to reimburse me for all the money I have to credit to buyers? I simply hate that some USPS workers take zero responsibility for their actions or I should say lack of actions!

This post office has a self service station, as well as a place to talk to a live person to have them ship and mail all items and letters. This location also has a place to weigh items and letters without having to go stand in line to talk to a live person. Lots of convenience here at this location. If you prefer not to run inside to mail your items, there are also 2 to 3 large mail bins located near the exit on the way out of this post office. One of my favorite things about the Loveland post office is that they support the tradition of the Loveland Valentine ladies. People, as well as local Loveland businesses, hand stamp all letters and packages with a message of love during the valentine season. It is a hidden gem in Loveland, as lots of people want their valentines stamped with a message of love from Loveland, Ohio, the sweetheart of Ohio! Look for people stamping postcards and letters at the beginning of February. I am thankful this business supports this long-lived valentine tradition!

I have never had any trouble nor waited in those her Renda's lines I hear everyone talking about. This time, I went before 4 o'clock on a Thursday before a holiday weekend, and I was the only person who had to wait in line. They had 3 to 4 tellers working, and it was really helpful. I only had to wait for five minutes or less. Back in the day, you could only pay with check, but you are now able to use your credit card if you are OK with $1.99 service fee. I overheard one of the tellers talking to a lady, and she did politely remind her if she uses her credit card, she would be charged that extra service fee.

The employee literally walked around the vehicle, wrote down the VIN number and the mileage. For this we waited about 1.5 hours. The communication of the employees wasn't clear and I left there just as confused as when I walked in. Overall a total waste of time! The next morning we went to the location in Lebanon and it was a totally different experience!

This Loveland library has been revamped to be an stellar place to study or a quiet place to work. Instead of just crashing on a couch or trying to find a secluded corner to get some peace and quiet, you can now study or work in a quiet room. I believe you can reserve these rooms, or get step in, first come first serve!! These spaces are great for people who are tutoring students or for people who need to talk business or even study together. Not only that--this library is a high quality resource environment. They have an area in the back of the library called MakersSpace. This is a work area where people of the community can come in and use the library's resources for free. Some of these resources include a sewing machine, a green screen, a 3-D printer, and a bike rack with tools of which you can work on your bike---for FREE! Don't see your favorite book or DVD at this location? No worries. Jump online and have a copy of what you were looking for sent directly to this library. In most cases, I have had materials available to me within 24 to 48 hours. Don't forget about this amazing local resource! We are pretty lucky to have such a great library in the heart of Loveland.
