I had a lingering issue with my water heater for almost a month, and after being shortchanged by 2 plumbers and possibly a third, i caved in and purchased a new unit (myself). Now, as we know it's challenging to find a supplier that would be willing to install a unit that was not provided by them, so off to the races and after spending a considerate amount of time on the Yellow Pages and networking with no clear results I found myself in a not so good place, enter Hugo (very good friend). He provided me with the info for MPH, i noticed the great reviews but again I was skeptical based on my past experiences with plumbers, so I dialed in (9:30am) and Shawn answered the call, his response was absolutely (no hesitation) on installing the unit, he provided me with a time slot of noon and close to that time i received a call saying he's a little backed up (no pun intended) but would arrive between 1-1:30p. He arrived with his brother around 1:15p and they got to work immediately! They kept me entertained in the process, did a clean and professional job, even hauled away the old unit and it's packaging! We had a emergency on New Year's Eve at 130am last night with at least 40 people at my house.All of a sudden the water heater started gushing water and flooded my just remodeled basement.I called 4or5 plumbing company's and Middletown town plumbing and heating was the only one to call me back.The person the called me back said someone with be there within the hour.They were here on time explained that he can clean the water up and take old heater out and taken with them and install new one that night.This has been the best experience that we have been thru with a situation like this.They were very clean professional explained step by step the price was reasonable and they didn't charge for holiday nor emergency call.They had us hot water within 2 hrs.Shawn also said he does interior work also.So we hired him to fix the water damage also.He helped us with taken care of claiming the damage thru our homeowners insurance and everything.We gave them a big deposit and they were back at 8 am on the button the same day.I would call Middletown plumbing and heating for any problems you are experiencing they will make you feel like your not getting taking for a ride and you will get what you pay for period. read more

Shaun Abrahms of Middletown Plumbing scammed me as well, as so many others. He caused $2000. in damage trying to repair a leak from an upstairs bathroom. Luckily for me I wrote a check for the $700. that he charged me, his truck broke down across from my home before he made his getaway, so I cancelled the check before he could cash it. If you google him you will find that he and his wife both have judgements against them, and that he has done prison time for fraud. How he can still be pushing the same scam is just an example of our marvelous Judicial system at work. Yes he is a POS, a thief, a liar, and a convicted Felon. To the reviewer that said he never showed up when he said he would, count your blessings, you have no idea just how lucky you are. 1 star review is actually 6 too many he's definitely in the -5 club all by himself. read more

Had my new dish washer installed by them. I originally went with a different company however they canceled on me so I was stuck with the washing machine that I could install. Looked them up online seem to have good reviews and gave them a called. Spoke with a Laurie and she sent one of here guys to me that evening. Frank the tech was sent to me. He was very polite and very professional from the get go. The dishwasher install went relatively quick less than 1 hour. He even changed the lines to the dishwasher and made sure the shut off valve to the unit was fully operational. Overall I would definitely use these guys again. I recently had a crack in the main water line of my house. It was a weekend I struggled to find anyone who could do the job in a timely manner. Decided to give these guys a try. Spoke with a Keith (I believe that was his name) Very friendly & courteous over the phone. I was fortunate enough that he was able to send someone the same day. Technician arrived at my place at 3pm. Was dressed professionally and even wiped his feet before entering my house (that's a big deal to me, shows respect and professionalism). The job took roughly 2 and half hours. I Needed emergency plumbing service as my entire basement was flooded due to the water heater. I asked some of my family members for recommendation and they recommended them.I called them up and spoke with a lovely lady (I don't recall her name I think Laurie) and she was able to send someone to my house within a few hours. The technician was clean and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and in little over an hour and a half he had replaced the water heater. He even helped with cleaning the area.
