I went in on 6/22 to pick up a new debit card and everyone who assisting me was very kind. I tried using the new card to pump gas yesterday and it declined multiple times in store and at the pump. I called today and spoke with a man named Mark about the issue and he was abrupt and short to every question I had. I brought up a concern and the phone went silent for maybe 5 seconds. I assumed he was deep in thought? Then he said, "are you there?" and I said, "yes did you hear me?" and he replied, "I answered your question." I had to ask it again before he gave me a clear answer. I thanked him for his time and hung up. During the call I had the phone on speaker and my roommate overheard it and he unprompted said, "That man did NOT want to help you at all. I didn't even hear him answer you." Such a weird experience. I've been banking with MidFirst for 8 years and neverrrrrr in any time I've called have I had such a bad experience. I've enjoyed the company because employees treat you warmly and go above and beyond for you. This person needs to go through some socialization courses. I'll be avoiding this location going further. read more

Always helpful & fast. Our favorite location is definitely Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley. Also the 67th Ave and Bell location is super helpful. Sadly their location at 7th St and Bell went from great to absolutely the worst service after losing several great employees. Hoping they can turn that around for sure. read more

Midfirst seems to be something that I thought we lost long ago: a bank were people know you and want to develop a long term relationship with you. Been with MF since 2008 - Flash forward to 2020 and I AM PISSED AT THEM! So long story short, I use the Midfirst Mobile app all the time and today, it wanted me to updated the app (Android phone) ---so I did, and then when I went to login, it wanted me to granted them access to my personal shit on my phone- - - - - REALLLY?? Like what effn business is that of theirs???? My contacts and pictures - they don't have a legit reason by no means to access. So I click on cancel rather than accept and now I'm locked out of MY GD ACCOUNT!! Tried talking to a banker there and got the run around. Said she reset my logon credentials and no luck! SO NOW I'M PISSED!!! I need to transfer money and I'm GD screwed! Have three accounts with these MFs and they are losing my business first thing tomorrow! read more

Went to this location. Very nice bank, look like a 4 star hotel, outside and inside. So I need a instant debit card after we opened online and got no debit cards for 2 month. Called and they said nothing has been sent out, and told us to go to this location to get one. Waited 20 min on the sofa and the whole process went 20 min more, no problem for us, that's normal time at the bank. We got our cards. Then we deposited some cash in my account, guess what? No cash counting machine, they had to count the cash like 4 times, since the manager had to verify again. What kind of bank don't have machine to count money? They must spent all the money to decorate the bank since it looks really nice. Then I got home, after an hour later, went online to check my balance, nothing at all. It's cash, it's not a check so why do it has to wait a day to be in our account? All other banks cash deposits go in immediately! It's a new account but still I'm not happy at all. Not sure what issues would happen tomorrow, but I would stay away from this location! read more

The Manager here does not need to be working in customer service. I would maybe suggest a car wash or maybe something where you aren't dealing face to face with people in any form or fashion. I always bank at the branch on Camelback and 32nd street but because I was out this was I needed to stop I . NEVER RETURNING TO THIS BRANCH AGAIN. This location ****have had so many issues with this location from wrong money orders AFTER I WRITE IT ON THE PAPER and the bank manager explained account information while doing 3 other things...overall the bank has good services such as free coin turn in free money orders and no atm fees..but sheesh so many promises to call and follow up from lydia Mariana I can tell mark and the other personal bankers push all the stuff onto the tellers it's not their fault but last night was the last straw..ty for the service no thank you for the customer service that went out the window. I opened a really small business account a couple of years ago. I did some research and selected MidFirst because they did not charge a monthly service fee for small businesses. About a year later, I received a letter in the mail about service fees. I went into the bank to close my account, and the teller told me this fee would not affect my account, so I kept it. I have been using their app to deposit checks because it is convenient. Then I was unable to log into the app for some reason. Every time I would try was on a weekend because I have another full-time job during the week. I would call their helpline, but they're not open on weekends. This went on for several months and I finally put a note on my to do list to call while I was on Christmas break. The gentleman reset my account, but I still could not login. I had to call back and they explained I had to log in using computer first, reset my password, and then the app would work. Really? When I got logged on, I found a service charge had been placed on my account for the last several months! I went into the branch and explained. They said there was not a service charge for the account per se, but because I have not logged into my account online! WTH? I have to login once a month or they charge me. Now who charges a service fee for NOT using a service? They even told me that I could go back to having paper statements mailed to me, and they wouldn't charge. How does that even make sense? So I explained that I have been trying to login, but the system had locked me out and their service department is not open on the weekends. They said they couldn't do anything until the manager returned from lunch and that they would call me as soon as they found out what they could do about the service charges. That was Tuesday... I got a notice saying they didn't have the correct address three months after I open it, Deloris Martinez who is s manager there gave me the runaround after I sent in the correct address info, now they are threatening to close my account. My account is frozen and they can't do anything until she gets back from VACATION! Now I have no money to spend because it is stuck in my FROZEN account.
